Do you hear a countersubject (another fugue theme that harmonizes with the first one)?

part one
For this assignment, the video below and diagram the
form using timestamps. To figure out where the various parts of the form
begin and end, listen for:
A fugue is a compositional process that requires the imitation to occur
in a highly organized way. Fugues alternate between an imitative texture
(the “fugue”), and a homophonic texture (called an “episode”). It is
best to figure out where those sections are first. Then try to identify
how many entries of the fugue subject you hear. Do you hear a
countersubject (another fugue theme that harmonizes with the first one)?
Here is a video that explains how this works:

Recurring themes- do you hear the same melody returning later?
Changes in texture
Identify the moments of rest (called “cadences”)
Then match those observations up to the form chart that applies to
the genre you chose to work with. There will be other clues for how to
divide the form, such as contrasts in the types of rhythms, mode or even
number of musicians.

Do your best to characterize the melodic contour of the subject of
the fugue and the countersubject if you’ve identified one (for example:
“it starts by leaping up then stepping down”).

We have spent considerable time discussing how sonata-allegro form
works. For this assignment, the video bellow is one of the first movements of a
symphony track where the various parts of sonata form take
place using timestamps. Characterize the themes and how they contrast
one another, make note of any salient musical features you notice,
especially in the moments where the parts of the form change. Here is a
reminder of the major parts of sonata form you’re listening for:

What are your thoughts about the experiment do you think the prison guard abuse had to do with their personalities?

After reading and/or watching the Zimbardo’s Stanford Prison Experiment, what are your thoughts about the experiment do you think the prison guard abuse had to do with their personalities? (i.e. aggressive, sadistic) or it had to do with the structure of the environment? (i.e. the nature of the roles involved and the power differential between the guards and the prisoners). Do additional research as necessary to gain a clear understanding of the experiment, then explain your reasoning. Make sure that in your discussion you mention the theory under study for this chapter.

Write a research the symbols and rituals of a non-Judeo-Christian religious organization or culture.
Compare the symbols and rituals they use with those of mainstream

cultures to obey all that Christ has commanded, and avoid theological misunderstandings that may be
expressed in that cultures symbols and rituals?
In addition to your textbook, you should use two to three reputable and authoritative sources.
