Operations managers and business leaders are constantly faced with legal and ethical issues when making business decisions. Managers and leaders are often required to present a balanced view of the best way in which the organization can serve its customers given the many internal and external constraints.

Identify a company with which you are familiar and reflect on the various legal and ethical considerations the organization may deal with on a daily basis.

Identify four parts/aspects of your own subject position (i.e.: race, class, ability, sex, gender, geographic location, country of origin, body size, etc.). Explain how each of them grants you social power (for example, if you are White, this means you do not have to contend with racism) or marginalizes you (for example, as a woman, even if you don’t necessarily feel marginalized, you are far more at risk of sexual violence than a man). Write a Persuasive Essay on The negative impact of social media on mental healthMy topic is The negative impact of social media on mental health. The key points I chose are cyberbullying, increase suicidal ideation/self-harming behavior, and the increase in anxiety and depression. Three resources I’ve chosen are… 1) A systemic review: The influence of social media on depression, anxiety, and psychological distress in adolescents by Butal Keles, Niall McCrae, and Annmarie Grealish (2020), found on the APA PsychInfo database. 2) Social media and adolescent mental health: the good, the bad, and the ugly by Michelle O’Reilly (2020) found on the CINAHL Complete database, and 3) Investigating the role of social media on mental health by Hassan Ebrahimpour Sadagheyani and Farin Tatari (2021) found on the CINAHL Complete Database. Other relevant sources can also be used as long as they are scholarly and peer-reviewed.

For this essay, you will identify an issue in your area of study or the field you want to work in someday. You will then establish an argument and support that argument with research and relevant evidence. Specifically, you must address the following rubric criteria:
Introduction: The introduction is where readers will have a chance to get an idea of what your essay will be about and what you will prove throughout. Do not go into too much detail here but give readers a preview of what is to come. Remember to review your writing plan to ensure that you are briefly hitting the key points you planned to cover while also stating your claim.
Provide an overview of the issue you have selected by briefly describing the main points and your argument.
Compose a thesis that states the argument that you will attempt to prove and support throughout your essay. This statement will give direction to your essay and should be well thought out.
Body: The body is your opportunity to describe and support your argument in depth. Make certain your thoughts and evidence are clear and organized in a way that is easy for readers to follow and understand.
Ensure that you write multiple focused paragraphs, clearly state their main idea, and move logically from one to the next, building the thesis argument as the essay progresses.
Your body paragraphs should support your argument by purposefully combining ideas with evidence from sources. The key to a persuasive essay is how well it is supported with quality evidence.
Address and refute at least one opposing viewpoint to your argument, which is your chance to discredit a significant opposing view and strengthen your argument in the process.
Conclusion: Think of the conclusion as a review of your argument. Use this section to restate your argument and remind readers of your supporting evidence. This paragraph is your last chance to persuade readers to agree with you.

Create the data flow map for Medical Records IT process using MS Visio.  A data flow map is a visual diagram of the processes and the data that flows between them. For your data flow map, make sure to show the tasks in the process, and how data is generated and moves throughout the process. Display this data flow map along side the process map that I have previously developed (I will attach the process map)
In addition to creating a data flow map, include a discussion with the following components:
1) Describe how the data obtained serves an organizational purpose (how can the information obtained from this workflow serve an organizational need).  Identify if the data obtained is quantitative or qualitative in nature, and the importance of that (example: for a clinic visit a patient’s heart rate is quantitative, but their pain level could be qualitative; copayment is quantitative and opinion if they received the desired appointment time is qualitative).
2) To better understand the process through the lens of how the data flows through it, describe how you would obtain baseline data about the process itself to analyze how the process is achieving what it is intended to achieve?
3)Identify the type of report you could use that baseline data for (cost-benefits analysis, benefits realization study, performance based request for proposal). You should include a discussion on how the data obtained in the workflow process could help you create a benefits realization study, return on investment analysis, cost benefit analysis, and/or performance based request for proposal.
4) Consider the cognitive workload that takes place at data flows through the process, and comment on the socio-technical influence on how this affects tasks completion based on data flow (or inefficient data flow). .
5) Discuss how you could use this data to support redesigning a process. Discuss what would you measure, and why?

PERSON AND ISSUE
For this paper, identify a PERSON involved in state or local government (I will allow a Texas
member of the United States Congress or the United States Senate) who has garnered your
interest. This person must have been ELECTED by the voters. They do not have to presently
hold office. They can be deceased. I want you to introduce me to this person with facts about
their life. I want to know who they are by reading your paper. Basically, I need to know their
biography and the route they took to their ultimate governmental destination.

Secondly, identify the ISSUE that draws you to choose this person. What cause did they
champion? How has this affected you personally? Perhaps, how does it affect all of us? (To
make it simpler, this section of the paper tells me WHY you chose this person!)
This paper should be 3 to 4 pages (double-spaced) of substantive material. This means the title
page and bibliography do not count towards the minimum length of three pages. All facts used
in the paper must be from valid (citable) sources and not assumptions or your own personal
beliefs. These facts should be clearly identified as to the source both in-text with proper citation
and at the end of the paper in a properly formatted bibliography. Again, the bibliography will
not count towards the three-page minimum. In addition, no more than 20 % of the paper may be
quoted material.
The paper should adequately cover the topic, be a minimum of three double-spaced typed pages
