Prompt: Compare and contrast sexual abuse reporting laws in California vs another state for these groups: 1. Children under 18 2. Domestic violence (including marital rape) 3. Adults over 65 (elder abuse laws) Then interview 2 agencies in your area to see what their policy is with reporting and dealing with sexual abuse disclosures from clients in the preceding three areas. Ask for formal (policies) and informal (how employees are taught, either consciously or unconsciously) ways to respond outside of policy responses. Agencies can include a hospital ER, rape crisis center, social service agency, police station, university health clinic, etc. NB: I LIVE IN HILLSBOROUGH NEW JERSEY SO USE THAT TO COMPARE WITH CALIFORNIA AND ALSO DO THE INTERVIEW.

Based on our readings on the U.S. financial system covering the period from about the end of Jackson’s presidency through 1914, what markets and institutions that we have studied resulted in a national market (with some exceptions in the South)?
Most of the readings can be found online, here are the 3 main questions that need to be answered:
It seems clear that the performance of the U.S. financial system through about 1914, though it periodically experienced manias, panics, and crashes, also was a key factor of the amazing overall American economic growth.
It would therefore seem surprising to think that the problems of transactions costs , asymmetric information, and agents working for the owners did not have to be addressed relatively successfully at the earlier stages through 1914. You will write a short essay #2 that addresses how, and how well, our financial system addressed these problems in the absence of a primacy of bank loans, answering the following questions:
1. Based on our readings on the U.S. financial system covering the period from about the end of Jackson’s presidency through 1914, what markets and institutions that we have studied resulted in a national market (with some exceptions in the South)?
2. How could these developments address and (apparently) adequately overcome the problems of transactions costs and asymmetric information in an era where bank loans were not the predominant methods of industrial finance?
3. Are there any lessons in this for our current system? (This section can be brief.)

Discuss by describing the number of people involved and the level of their involvement (Decision continuum) is not a decision technique. The outcome of a decision process or technique is that a decision has been made.
If what you are considering does not result in a decision, it is not a decision process or technique. A decision process or technique is repeatable and describes HOW a decision will be made, not WHO makes it. A decision technique does not include inputs into the actual decision.
For example, an idea-generating technique such as brainstorming is not a decision technique, although is often an input into decision making.
An analytical technique (Pareto, SWOT, Cost-benefit analysis, etc.) is not a decision technique, although these too are often inputs.
Discuss by describing the number of people involved and the level of their involvement (Decision continuum) is not a decision technique. The outcome of a decision process or technique is that a decision has been made.
You may need to research beyond the text to identify four distinct decision making processes or techniques. If it’s a decision technique or process, when it’s complete everyone knows what the decision is and can communicate it to others.
