Pacific Islander Mental Health Help-Seeking

This is the first time I am using this service, so please bear with me. I’m not entirely sure what to expect – I’m just desperate and haven’t slept in a week.

The paper was due yesterday, but my professor has granted me until today to submit it. So, the sooner, the better.
The assignment is a Master’s thesis proposal for a research methods class. The expectation is roughly 12 pages long: 6 pages for the intro section and 6 pages for the method. It does not need to be a career-defining piece; all it has to do is get me a decent grade.

If you’re willing and able to write it yourself, that works for me! But, I would be happy to collaborate and get coaching if that will get things done faster. I know the Pacific Islander literature pretty well. And I have a decent library of sources to work with, so you shouldn’t have to do any lit searches. 12 Pages is just a lot to write, and I can barely think right now. I’m also awful with the intricacies of research design and data analytics, so I will need you to know what to use.

The prompt for the assignment is below:

General Guidelines.
1)
The papers will be graded according to the APA-7
style.
2)
The introduction should include references to at
least 10 relevant empirical papers from peer-reviewed journals that are
specifically relevant to the proposed research project.
3)
Papers should include ALL OF the
following: title page, abstract, introduction, and method section. The method
section should contain at least the
following sections, not necessarily in this order: participants, measures,
procedure, data analytic method, and power analyses.
4)
Papers will be graded according to adherence to APA
style, logical coherence/persuasiveness, accuracy, spelling, and grammar.
5)
Papers should be in a proposal format (e.g., the
analytic approach will consist of…),
rather than a report format (e.g., the analytic approach utilized consisted
of…).

My outline:

Backround
–Psychotherapy research provides very little insight about Pacific Islanders beyond demonstrating a significant mental health burden and low service seeking.
– Researchers rarely disaggregate PIs from Asian Americans. However, this has hidden the severe needs of PIs among the larger and healthier Asian population.
Even fewer studies recognize the cultural diversitying the Nativ NHPI category. e Hawaiian and Pacific IslanderT(
– There are 3 culturally and geographically distinct NHPI racial subgroups: Polynesians, Melanesians, and Micronesians, among dozens of cultures and hundreds of languages.

– Aggregate NHPI data research shows they have the highest suicidal attempts during emerging adulthood.
Also experience high depression (PhQ- 9), anxiety, Gad 7).
There is some qualitative studies that substance abuse (alcohol, tobacco, marijuana), and ACE trauma are major issues in a community, but little quant data.

– High mental health stigma and high help-seeking stigma.
NHPIs are both indigenous populations (Hawaii, Guam, American Samoa) and immigrant populations (Tonga, Fiji, Western Samoa)
Differences in Gender, age, generation,

The current study:
– examine differences in mental health and mental health help seeking across different PI subethnic groups.

– Study design: Recruit a US NHPI sample to complete an online Qualtrics survey for demographic info.
– Have sample complete screenings for Suicide, depression, anxiety, substance(s) abuse, ACEs, (maybe PTSD?)
– Have sample complete Mental health self stigma assessment tool, Mental Help Seeking attitudes scale (MHSAS), and Mental Help Seeking intentions scale(MHSIS).

** I’m struggling with formulating the hypotheses and design
Hypothesis 1: Marginilized Demographics (women, low SES, 1st generation migrants) will report greater Mental health distress.
Hypothesis 2: Demographics ( men, older adults, 1st generation migrants) will have greater MH stigma
Hypothesis. 3: Higher intensity of Mental Distress will be associated with higher MHSIS and MHSAS
Hypothesis 4: Polynesians, Micronesians, and Melonesians will significantly differ on any MH, HS, or stigma measure, after accounting for other demographic differences.

Locke and Berkeley

This need to be a cooperative essay.
Compare what Locke and Berkeley have to say about the relation between ideas and
objects, minds and the world. Why does Berkeley reject Locke’s claim that we can know the primary qualities of objects? Can Berkeley be refuted? Explain and evaluate their claims in
detail. The paper should be at least three full pages long which the fourth page is the Works cited page and Should have 5 references .

Destiny in Oedipus the King by Sophocles

Oedipus the King can be read as a play about destiny. Before the play begins, the gods have set Oedipus’ destiny as a horrific one – to kill his father and marry his mother. Once Oedipus learns his fate, he attempts to avoid it by leaving the couple he believed to be his parents, but his plan to thwart destiny only serves to make those prophesies come true. In a well-developed essay, explore the ideas of free will and predetermination in the play. Can the characters be held responsible for their actions? Do any of their choices matter? Look specifically at Oedipus, but address Jocasta and Creon as well.

Employability Report

You are required to
prepare an Employability Report which critically reflects upon your current
skill set and the transferable skills and competences that you have and those
that you intend to develop following graduation to transition into further studies
or the career of your choice and progression thereafter.

In your report you
will use the CareerEDGE model to present and evaluate your current skills
profile and to explore the range of employability skills you anticipate that you
may require to meet future challenges and explore opportunities.

Classical music concert

Concert Report
From the list of works, choose a minimum of 90 minutes of music and write a report about the concerts. The choice of performances is up to you as long as the selection of concerts’ total duration is 90 minutes of music.
Ex: Haydn’s string quartet + Schubert’s songs

Recommending strategic planning and management alternatives for the Starbucks corporation.

Please make sure that there
are examples that are backed with ehough evidence. Also heavy focus on the literature reveiw,
specifically it has to cover all the components of the Basic Strategic Planning Model:
•Analysis of the Internal and External Environments (STEEP analysis, Porter/Industry Analysis, analysis of strengths and weaknesses)
•Discussion of the company’s existing corporate and business strategies including mission statement, objectives and vision
•Review of the company’s organizational structure and corporate governance
•Evaluation of the existing strategy (financial review, stock investment review, and an overall review which includes other quantitative and qualitative factors)
•Social responsibility and stakeholder analysis

Argument/Persuasion Annotated Bibliography

Students will create an annotated bibliography in MLA style. The annotated bibliography will consist of a minimum of five sources from the databases. Students should plan on writing approximately 100-150 words per source.

My topic is “should hate speech be something you can be criminally charged for” and the argument was for no.

The databases you have to use to get the five sources from are password protected. My username is: 000674603 and my password is FlyinStopSigns (no spaces, no g in flying, and first letter of each word is capitalized). The link is https://dc3.agverso.com/home?cid=DC3&lid=DC3. On the log in page it will ask which library you want to use, it’s DC3 : dodge city community college. Once you log in the databases are in the upper left hand corner of the screen.
