Take the speech you’ve read and briefly tell the class about it.
What about the speech stood out for you?
Do you think you know the author better after reading the speech?
Keep in mind to add your own original thoughts with analysis.
Also, if you quote or paraphrase, you must include the proper APA Citations.

Disease/Biotechnology Presentation
Disease/ Biotechnology Presentation
Objective: To practice investigating a scientific topic of the student’s choice. Students will perform scientific research on a topic they have chosen relating to disease or biotechnology and present this research in the format of a video or voice recorded presentation.
Directions:
After you review the notes posted on BB over viruses and read the corresponding chapters in your book you will venture into scientific research. Your first search should be a basic search into different types of viruses (human, animal, or zoonotic). Once you find a topic that interests you and you feel you have a grasp on you should focus your research on that. You should find several articles with information on the disease you have chosen, this assignment will require more than three sources. You can choose to present on the pathogen that causes the disease, the pathogenicity, treatment, and/or treatment trials, effects of the condition, what leads to the condition, etc.
Students also have the option to complete a presentation on a method of biotechnology. In this unit you learned about different forms of biotechnology that have aided in our understanding of genetics and disease. In the lecture you learned about different types of sequencing that have been developed, genetic engineering, and PCR. These are just three of hundreds of technological advances that have been made in the scientific field. You can also choose to research a specific biotechnological advance and present on it. I do not want forms of treatment for disease for this option, rather diagnostic advances if you will.
Presentation:
You have the option to record a video presentation or an audio presentation to submit on BB. The presentation should be 5-7 minutes long. If you’d like to have a powerpoint accompanying the presentation there is no guideline on how many slides you need to have, just be sure to have enough to last the length of the presentation. Be sure that your audio is clear when you submit your presentation. Be creative!
Articles:
Be sure to attach the scientific articles (3) with your presentation, also if you have a powerpoint you should have a slide for your sources.

For the Discussion Post, answer the following:
Describe a common stock yield and why it is important for an investor.
Describe and explain the importance of a bond yield also.
How is a common stock investor and a bond investor different?
What different expectations do they have?
If a common dividend is not paid, what recourse do the stockholders have?
What recourse do bondholders have available if bond interest payments are not made?

Dimensional Data Modeling
Choose one of the data warehousing / data mart dimensional models listed below.
Copy the data model into a MS Word document. In your MS Word document. (You can copy the data model graphic by right-clicking on it. On PCs, the keyboard combination of ctrl-V is the shortcut command for pasting.)
In the MS Word document,
1) identify the fact table
2) identify the dimension tables,
3) for each dimension table, identify the attribute(s) that would be matched to an attribute in the fact table, and
4) list four queries that could be produced from this data model.
For example, the queries from a data model of real estate sales that could typically be produced by matching a fact table to one or more dimension tables include: a) list of properties sold by each real estate agent, b) total properties sold by state, c) types of properties sold by month and year, d) dollar value of properties sold by each real estate company, e) total homes sold by real estate agent by company by year.
Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi
For this paper, I will instead ask you to examine two chapters from different generations–your choice of chapters and generations, so long as they are not the same two chapters you explored in your group presentation. What can the particular parallels and lines of continuity–or alternatively, contrasts and disjunctions–between those chapters and generations tell us about Homegoing’s core themes and concerns?
Support your argument with close analysis of the most significant continuities and/or discontinuities that emerge between your two chosen chapters of the novel. Make sure to explain why you chose those particular chapters in your introduction. What can we learn by looking at those two chapters together that might be less visible if we explored each chapter separately?
LINEAR PROGRAMMING
Comply with the 500-word minimum word count. There are no discernible benefits to brevity when writing at the college level. Format of your discussion board post in accordance with APA requirements. Insert parenthetical citations at the point at which you use materials from your resources to avoid plagiarism. APA format is author/year as in (Stevenson, 2021) for paraphrased citations, or (Stevenson, 2021, p. 123) for a direct quote from a specific page.
Your list of resources used at the end of your discussion is known at the “References” list – NOT Works Cited, Resources, Sources, Bibliography, or other titles. Only use the word “References.”
Again, you MUST insert parenthetical citations at the point at which you use materials from your resources (paraphrased or directly quoted). Posts without evidentiary support from published literature are unacceptable. Use the Stevenson textbook as your primary resource when answering these topical questions and augment it with at least two (02) ancillary resources from the published literature – both printed or electronic. Provide a References list at the end of your post to include all your resources used. All sources parenthetically cited within the content of your post must appear on the References list. Conversely, all sources on the References list must have been used at least once within the content of the discussion.
Do not upload discussion posts that contain less than the minimum word count or have less than 3 authoritative resources.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE AND USE OF LINEAR PROGRAMMING? HOW DOES IT AFFECT OPTIMIZATION?
INTEGRATED MARKETING COMM
Project Outline–
You can choose any certain company, product, or brand for your IMC project and your project must cover the following topics. You can include additional sections, but you have to cover all required sections in the following. Throughout the semester, you could lean more specific details about what to include in each section.
Executive Summary. A reduced version of your report contains a very brief summary of each section.
Situation Analysis. A description of the current situation for the brand should include SWOT analysis, brand equity audit, and corporate profile.
Segmentation and Targeting. A detailed analysis of the segment you decide to target, including a justification of why you chose it (what makes this segment particularly attractive?). Make sure you include “data” or “numbers” to support your choice and as sources for your segment description. For example, you could use primary or secondary research. Examples of sources of secondary research include Euromonitor, Simmons, or articles from the business press. Bottom line: you must understand your target segment inside and out, and you must be able to justify your choice of segment.
Positioning. The centerpiece of this section should be a positioning statement. You should be able to support your choice of a point of difference (POD) through your positioning strategy. This section should describe why you chose that POD (e.g., how product is positioned by product difference, by key attribute or benefit, by usage, against a specific competitor(s), by users of the product)
Communication Objectives. Please describe your communication objectives in terms of developing brand awareness, increasing category demand, building consumer traffic, enhancing corporate image and others
Media Plan. What media will you use to accomplish your communication objectives? This should indicate what you should stand on to talk to your target market. Please include (1) target audiences and their media itinerary, (2) media objectives (timing, reach, and frequency), media mix (combination of media to be used) and media rationale (reason for use of each medium), and (3) media flowchart (actual media purchases and schedule in various media).
Creative Strategy. Please provide a big idea that describes your total creative concept in the campaign. This is to unify your campaign and distinguish it from competitors’ campaigns. Here are some components for this section:
Target Person: The personification of the target market that best represents it. This is to vividly picture the target market profile as a particular person. Talk about your consumer— explain who he/she is and what he/she wants or needs. Sometimes, it helps to picture one person who epitomizes your target and describe him or her.
Creative Objective: The specific objective, which the copy and the visuals of the campaign aim to accomplish. It should state what you would like to convince consumers to feel or do as a result of the advertising execution.
Customer Promise: Unique feature of the product that can benefit the target consumers. Otherwise known as the big consumer benefit, unique selling proposition, single-minded proposition, key response, and others. The benefit should be worded in a unique way so that it addresses the consumer need or problem to be solved.
Support: Substantiations containing technical information, or otherwise, to support the claim. Allows the copy to be more believable.
Brand Personality: Also known as the brand image. Translated into people’s terms to associate the brand to descriptions appropriate to it just like what we do to a person.
Advertising Appeals: How the advertising stimulates interest and influences feelings. Example: fear, pleasure, comfort, convenience
Evaluation. A brief statement of how you plan to assess whether you have met your objectives.
Other IMC Recommendations
a. Direct Marketing Recommendations (including target audience, objectives, and media types, e.g., direct mail, electronic, print media, telemarketing, catalog, and kiosk).
b. Online/Interactive/Social Media Recommendations (including target audience, objectives, and strategies/executions).
c. Public Relations Recommendations (including target audience, objectives, and strategies).
Note: Formatting Suggestions
Keep the whole report under 10 pages, including appendices, tables, graphs, ads,…
Graphs, tables, or figures that are not central to your argument but are helpful to support it should be included in appendices at the end of the report.
It is usually best to use single space text, with lots of “white” space between sections.
