You are required to research further and develop arguments on the problems or issues identified in your research of the topic.
Your argument needs to address the relevant key philosophical concepts, ideas or theories addressed in the course related to your topic.
In your essay, you MUST consider some objections to your arguments and claims. You should critically engage with arguments rather than just explain them (depending on the degree of complexity of the arguments you focus on). It is important at the beginning of your essay that you clearly set out what you are going to address. You cannot address everything so it is also important to flag what arguments you are not going to address and offer reasons.
When selecting appropriate materials you may include the Set Reading for the topic you’ve chosen. You MUST also engage in independent research and go beyond the Set and Further reading. Final Research Proposal Formatting Guidelines
Part I. General Formatting
Your final Research Proposal must include the following formatting:
1. The assignment typically turns out to be about 13-15 pages. But it must be at least 8 pages long. Page count does not include the Title Page or your References Cited.
2. It must be double-spaced and typed.
3. It must use 11 or 12 point font of a mainstream font, such as Times New Roman, Arial, or Calibri.
4. It must include a title page with centered text that follows the example here (again, the title page is not included in the word count):

Your final presentation assignment in this course is to complete a multimedia presentation. The work you have done to create and support your research thesis will be the basis of your presentation.

Now that you have done some research with primary and secondary sources, you will use your research to create a presentation in a format that will appeal to your peers. You will use the
research you have done throughout this course, as well as course materials, to inform your thoughts. To present your opinions and observations, you will create
a multimedia presentation (using a presentation tool such as an infographic, social media post, video, etc.) that addresses your argument. While these questions may
seem “big,” remember that you are addressing them in a presentation, not a paper, and can use bullet points, visuals, or other methods. You will be sharing your presentation with the class in a discussion post and you will need to respond to each other. This means you will need to look at each presentation in the class.
Written component
Your presentation must present your argument as well as the research you have conducted to prove your thesis. While your presentation may even be a short video or a post, you must include a written element that summarizes your thesis and the support that you found. The written component will be submitted just to me rather than in a discussion post.

I will be talking about the changing representations of Jesus and how critics have argued that the Renaissance artist really struggled with how to capture at the same time the idea of Jesus humanity and divinity. I will focus my paper on the arguments of how Jesuses humanity and divinity were influenced by these churches, art and museums and how they represent him for my Italian Culture class.

writing about, the theme & its related ideas, as well as a POV on
said theme & its related context. The themes, characters, character
relationships, historical contexts, source material, MLA citations, etc. will be
discussed during class.
* Once your thesis is developed, you’re required to argue it in your body
paragraphs, developing relevant / related arguments, citing evidence, &
analyzing evidence. Use MLA style internal citations & provide a work cited
page.

analysis of said citations must be placed in bold.

This course satisfies the LAE requirement of scientific literacy. Students are required to write a 500–1000-word essay

1) explaining the use of appropriate data and evidence to justify and compare competing claims, especially those that would be relevant to informed citizens; and 2) identifying the aims and limits of statistical reasoning

For part one in discussing competing claims you may consider hypothesis testing examples. For part 2 consider the fact that statistics deals with uncertainty , and with regards to its aim consider the following: ” Statistical inference is the process of using data analysis to infer properties of an underlying distribution of probability. Inferential statistical analysis infers properties of a population, for example by testing hypotheses and deriving estimates”.
