Your final project will be a creative, researched based project based on the topic you choose.
Modalities can include: PowerPoint/Google Slides/Prezi, Tumblr (or another web interface), a short film, or a 3-5 page paper with an MLA formated bibliography with 5 sources…whatever you would like to use to showcase your knowledge and understanding of your chosen topic. For those of you who choose a visual presentation for your final project, you will be presenting it on the last day of class and will have up to 7 minutes.

You are in your third year as an internal auditor with VXI International, manufacturer of parts and supplies for jet aircraft. VXI began a defined contribution pension plan three years ago. The plan is a so-called 401(k) plan that permits voluntary contributions by employees. Employees’ contribution are matched with one dollar of employer contribution for every two dollars of employee contribution. Approximately $500,000 of contributions is deducted from employee paychecks each month for investment in one of three employer-sponsored mutual funds. While performing some preliminary audit tests, you happen to notice that employee contributions to these plans usually do not show up on mutual fund statements for up to two months following the end of pay periods from which the deductions are drawn. On further investigation, you discover that when the plan was first begun, contribution were invested within one week of receipt of the funds. When you question the firm’s investment manager about the apparent change in the timing of investments, you are told, “Last year Mr. Maxwell (the CFO) directed me to initially deposit the contributions in the corporate investment account. At the close of each quarter, we add the employer matching contribution and deposit the combined amount in specific employee mutual funds.”

Communicating information to groups of people through digital platforms has become common in the past few years, but there are still misconceptions about when to use different approaches such as a webcast or a webinar. Now that you have successfully networked with Meg as Microsoft’s Director of Consumer Marketing for Xbox and she has offered you a job, it is time to show off your abilities as a thoughtful web meeting content creator.
You are free to tackle any aspect of Xbox’s family of products and plan two communications that will help with your marketing efforts leading up to the holiday season.
The webcast is designed for 2000 of your most ardent fans, who want to learn about a new game, feature, console, hardware… whatever you identify that Xbox might have in the pipeline that you also find interesting. These fans have opted into a program for Xbox enthusiasts, and the latest “reward” will be access to this webcast. It should still be appropriately open in tone and content that you can publish the webcast publicly later for all audiences.
The focus of this activity is to demonstrate your ability to plan a webcast that provides value to the audience. It should be between 8-to-10 minutes in length and prerecorded. Using any of the highlighted webcast software tools will be encouraged.
Create a PowerPoint or Spark deck to accompany the webcast presentation. The deck will count for a portion of your total grade and must be submitted via Canvas. Make sure to work at least 3 to 4 external sources in the presentation, not just listing them at the end as a bibliography.
Points will be deducted for going over or under the allotted time, so make sure to practice timing each presentation beforehand. We will deduct five points for every 30 seconds over and under the 8-to-10-minute window.
One final note: try to have a specific purpose to your speech, a clear story, or a unique angle that makes your presentation stand out amongst all the others. Creativity is encouraged, provided it does not detract from the assignment requirements.

1. The ironic friendships of More with Rich, Henry, and Norfolk:
Body paragraph 1: Discuss evidence that More’s refusal to help Rich advance in a political career, which Rich implies is unfriendliness, is based on concern for Rich’s wellbeing. Include evidence that More has real affection for Rich, whereas Rich is revealed to be no friend to More at all.
Body paragraph 2: Discuss evidence that despite Henry’s implications that it is unfriendly, More’s refusal to forsake his conscience in regards to Henry’s divorce shows true friendship. Include evidence that More has real affection for Henry, whereas Henry’s professions of friendship to More are largely self-interest.
Body paragraph 3: Discuss evidence that More’s harsh severance of friendship with Norfolk is itself an expression of friendship. Include the contrast that despite Norfolk accusing More of unfriendliness for not taking the oath, it is Norfolk who proves the worse friend.
2. The words and actions of More in the play that reveal that an upright conscience is greater than any earthly good, even life itself:
Discuss one of the following: either (1) How More gives up increasingly weightier goods as he remains loyal to his conscience: the esteem of colleagues and his high office; the understanding of friends and comfort of family; and his liberty and nally his life; or (2) the reasons he gives in his conversations with Wolsey and Henry, Alice and Margaret, and Norfolk for why he values an upright conscience as the highest good in earthly life.
3. The inverse (or contrasting) parallel between Rich and More and how their contrast structures the plot of the play:
Discuss how their contrast begins in their very first conversation; how the contrast only widens as time goes on; how More declines in gradual steps in his conditions in life but rises in virtue, and how Rich rises in steps in his conditions in life but falls into vice.

Attached is a credit.csv file. You must use this data to complete the R Programming portion of the final exam. After your read in the file, you will do the following.

2) Decide a quantitative or qualitative attribute that you would like to predict from the data.
3) Clean the data as you see fit. There are no explicit instructions on what is required. You may need to change some features into dummy variables. It may be advantageous to extract some features, it is your choice.
4) Create a train and test set from the provided data.
5) Incorporate CV of some kind for each selected model.

Your paper will be a review of current research literature – articles published within the past six years – about how the logistics area you select is applied and managed in the aviation and aerospace industry. You will compare and contrast the current research findings with the principles and concepts presented in the Bowersox, et al. textbook.
