Write a paper on the theories of psychotherapy we have studied in the course and differentiate among them in terms of their views of human nature, beliefs about change, principles of therapeutic relationships, key concepts, effective strategies, cross-cultural considerations, and the variable significance of thought, emotion, and behavior.
Write a paper on the theories of psychotherapy we have studied in the course and differentiate among
them in terms of their views of human nature, beliefs about change, principles
of therapeutic relationships, key concepts, effective strategies,
cross-cultural considerations, and the variable significance of thought,
emotion, and behavior. Cheston’s (2000) article, “A new paradigm,” will be
helpful. All three theories will be fully described and analyzed in depth. As
each theoretical perspective is described and analyzed, quote from the readings
(using APA style for citing and referencing) to make finer and stronger points.
Challenge each theoretical perspective with critical analysis and point out the
areas of contrast, common ground, and complementarity between the
theories. This is a 10-12-page,
double-spaced paper. Please use 1-inch margins.
Please use a
minimum of 10 well-chosen references to the reading, citing at least 4 sources
(each chapter of the Sommers-Flanagan book is considered a different
source). If you wish, an additional 1-2
pages can be used as an appendix to include supplementary material.
Some
students have chosen to write this paper by using a case study, film, song
lyrics, or a simulated panel discussion as the framework for the comparisons
among the three theories. The choice of
how to approach this paper is yours.

Assignment Instructions: Imagine you are a consulting psychologist. You have been hired to consult with group members of a social movement, such as #metoo or #blacklivesmatter (website URL: https://blacklivesmatter.com/). Choose any social movement you find interesting; for examples, #metoo, #blacklivesmatter, animal rights, disability rights, anti-war, LGBTQIA+, Tea Party, etc. Then, review what it means to be a group member, how group members typically work together, and how they can improve their productivity.
You decide to create a brief, detailed essay. It should include an introduction, bodies, and conclusion. You must use at least three scholarly and/or credible sources for this presentation.

Part 3: Improving Group Performance
Finally, review your recommendations on how to improve group performance based on:
Individual group member’s motivations
Cognitive approaches
Goal setting

Support factual information and assertions with credible and/or scholarly sources.
WOULD YOU GUYS PLEASE OUTLINE EACH TOPIC YOU TALK ABOUT BEFORE HAND JUST SO I KNOW EVERYHTING IS THERE.
What materials properties are the most important for that application?
Topics in Materials Science
The field of materials science is constantly making advances in important areas that impact modern society. One of the best ways to learn about recent advances in a certain topic area is by following trade journals of professional societies. The Materials Research Society (MRS) publishes a monthly periodical named the MRS Bulletin which covers a different application area each issue. In this assignment, you are asked to read one article from each of the following MRS Bulletin issues:
1. Materials & Engineering: Propelling Innovation (Volume 40, Issue 12) (pdf attached)
2. Materials for Energy Harvesting (Volume 43, Issue 3) (pdf attached)
3. The machine learning revolution in materials research (Volume 44, Issue 7) (pdf attached)
Summarize the contents of those articles and discuss the importance of those materials to the field particular application at hand. Critical questions to ask include: What are the materials described in these articles? How do they function relative to a certain application or topic area? What materials properties are the most important for that application? How are the materials being designed to demonstrate superior materials properties?
Include full citations of the articles that you read at the end of your essay. Utilize the citation format employed in the MRS Bulletin (Hint: look at the citations at the end of the article that you’re reading). As this assignment will have a weight of 5%, you are expected to a minimum of 500 words for each paper (excluding references). You are encouraged to work on this assignment in groups of 2 or less – students should write their report together & indicate both students names if they worked on the assignment in a pair.
So final product is three paper with each paper 500 words minimum on the three artricle that I attached.
Describe an A/B test that you can perform in this business/small business that you proposed.
(1) Slides 1 to 3: Propose any business or small business that you can potentially launch after you graduate. This can be hypothetical (imagined), or some kind of new product that does not exist yet. You can be creative and imagine that certain things are possible.
(2) Slides 4 to 6: Using the concepts that you have learned in this Marketing Analytics course, describe what kinds of data you might be able to collect to improve the decision-making in your business.
(3) Slides 7 to 9: Describe an A/B test that you can perform in this business/small business that you proposed.
(4) Slides 10 to 12: Describe an experiment that you can perform in this business/small business that you proposed, and design two versions: (A) A first version that is between-subjects design, and (B) A second version that is a within-subjects design.
(5) Slides 13 to 15: Describe an “Applied AI” software that you might be able to design (assume that you can hire computer programmers to do it for you). This “Applied AI” should be something practical and helpful to consumers. For example, the examples that I mentioned in the online lecture are NetFlix and Spotify. NetFlix helps consumers by suggesting a movie that the consumer is likely to want to watch, and Spotify helps consumers by automatically playing a song that the consumer is likely to enjoy (so that the consumer does not have to go through the effort to construct a playlist). Come up with an original example of an “Applied AI” software that can either help your business, or be your entire business (just like NetFlix is an entire business on its own, not just an app that helps a business).
What are two similarities and two differences when comparing Traditional and Western knowledge systems of forest ecology?
Required reading will be in attached files.
Part 1
Our Applied Knowledge Board topic for this week is a deeper dive into thinking about perspectives of forest ecology, here focused on Traditional and Western knowledge “systems”.
First, read this short (seven pages) review paper:
Lake, F.K., Giardina, C.P., Parrotta, J., Davidson-Hunt, I., 2018. Considering diverse knowledge systems in forest landscape restoration, in: Forest Landscape Restoration: Integrated Approaches to Support Effective ImplementationLinks to an external site.
While you’re reading, keep notes that will allow you to provide an answer the following reading prompt question:
From your perspective and reading the Lake et al (2018) paper, what are two similarities and two differences when comparing Traditional and Western knowledge systems of forest ecology?
Submit your 150-300 word response to the question above. Please use full sentences and check your grammar and spelling before posting.
Part 2
Do some research to look for information on:
Traditional uses of forest landscapes near your home (Salem, Oregon), and
Find out what tribal communities lived on this land prior to European colonization (the Native Land website (Links to an external site.) may be helpful).
https://guides.library.oregonstate.edu/land-acknowledgments
https://usdac.us/nativeland/
For b) please loop back to the OSU land acknowledgement in our “Start Here” materials as an example. You don’t need to provide a full land acknowledgement for your area, but please do integrate components of the OSU example. If you find a formal land acknowledgement for your area, please include it in addition to your own written summary and provide a citation for where you found it.
Submit a brief summary of your findings, 100-200 words. Please use full sentences and check your grammar and spelling before posting. Provide links/description of your information sources, but formal citation style is not required.

Write a summary on The Founding and Early History of the Houston-Galveston Area Council.
Write a summary on The Founding and Early History of the Houston-Galveston Area Council.
Develop the topic into a well-organized essay, following the
guidelines below. Correct spelling and grammar will be considered during
grading. Part of your grade will depend upon including the four required block
quotes. If you do not include the 4 required block quotes to support your
position, your paper will lose one letter grade.
Be sure to answer all parts of the question. Three pages is
the minimum, but you may go a page or two beyond that, if needed. Students will generally compose the essay
inside their word processor and then COPY and PASTE (using CONTROL V) the text
into the space provided below. Note that the deadline for this paper is several
days prior to the Final Exam. Late
papers or papers not submitted in the proper area will lose one letter grade
(10 points).
Finally, do not use material from any source other than The
Founding and Early History of the Houston-Galveston Area Council. DO NOT copy
material from another source and paste it into this essay response box,
representing it as your own work. Doing this will result in a grade of 0, and
it is not difficult for instructors to detect.
Section 1: (From Chapter 1) Trace the development of the
reform impulse within the federal government during the John Kennedy and Lyndon
Johnson administrations. In other words,
how did the federal government come to be more interested in helping local
governments solve their problems? Give
examples from both the Kennedy and Johnson administrations.
Section 2: (From Chapter 2) Explain the historical roots as
to why the state of Texas traditionally choose not to get overly involved in
the problems facing local governments. Whywas Texas also reluctant to accept
help from the federal government? What
were some of the forces that brought about a change in these attitudes?
Section 3: (From Chapters 3–8) Discuss two important
projects that H-GAC implemented for the region or discuss two situations within
its service region that H-GAC helped to improve (or one of each).
Section 4: (From Chapter 8) Analyze how the Financial
Controller (Bill Prince) and his co-conspirators managed to embezzle or
misspend nearly $2 million from H-GAC in the 1980’s.
All sections are equally weighted.
Include at least four direct, multi-sentence block quotes
from The Founding and Early History of the Houston-Galveston Area Council to
support your position. Use one block
quotation per section.
Please note that the greater part of this assignment will be
your own analysis, in your own words.
The quotations from the book can provide detail and “flavor”
to your essay, but they are not intended to make up the majority of your
answer.
Be sure to put your citation for these quotations in
parentheses and in all caps. For example, your citation might look like
this: “The most persuasive argument
in favor of forming a regional council was the federal government’s requirement
for sub-state review and comment.”
(PATTERSON, p. 26)
Briefly describe the organization, i.e. purpose/mission, size, market share, # of employees, patient days, revenues, etc.
Returning to the organization in Middleboro that you have been writing about, you will culminate this fourth part of the writing assignments by assessing the organization, evaluating your findings, and developing a strategic plan that they can use to improve their performance as an organization.
For this assignment, you will write a 6-7 page APA formatted paper that provides an overview of your organization, a SWOT analysis, and recommendations to address identified threats and/or weaknesses.
In your paper:
Briefly describe the organization, i.e. purpose/mission, size, market share, # of employees, patient days, revenues, etc.
Complete a SWOT analysis for your health care organization. Provide 3-5 factors that are major issues for each category, i.e. strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats.
Summarize and analyze the data to reflect what you believe are opportunities that will improve quality in your organization.
Choose two factors from the threats or weaknesses and recommend actions to resolve or improve what you identified. Recommendations must be grounded in evidence-based practice.
Using your analysis and recommendations, develop an evidence-based strategic plan that will optimize strengths and opportunities and minimize weaknesses and threats.
Identify an alternative costing method that could benefit this company, and describe the main characteristics of that method.
*This has an excel/math component that needs to be reviewed or potentially corrected. I’ve attached it along with previous correlating assignments. Please take this into account for your bid.
Prompt: For this milestone, submit a draft of the alternative costing method section of the final project (Section IV), including all of critical elements listed below.
Refer to the Hampshire Company Case Study document, as this provides details on how to complete this milestone. All calculations for your quantitative analysis
should be completed in the Hampshire Company Spreadsheet. You will provide a rough draft of your qualitative analysis in a Word document.
Specifically, the following critical elements must be addressed:
IV. Alternative Costing Method
There are various costing methods available for companies to implement. As a company grows, it may become beneficial to consider an alternate costing
method.
A. Identify an alternative costing method that could benefit this company, and describe the main characteristics of that method.
B. What should a company look for when trying to determine whether they should adopt such a system?
C. Should the company adopt this alternative costing method? Defend your response.
