Draw a conceptual map/diagram that illustrates how the four concepts are related. (Concept Identification, Analysis, Middle Range Theory Development, and Clinical Application)

By defining, describing, and analyzing concepts, nurse scholars can develop a better understanding of how events and experiences, important to advanced practice nursing, are related to other concepts. This understanding can be used to develop middle-range theories that can focus on nursing assessments and can be tested through research to develop evidence-based interventions.
• Watch the film “Breathing Lessons: The Life of Mark O’Brien” as a case study which you can find on the internet

• Draw a conceptual map/diagram that illustrates how the four concepts are related. (Concept Identification, Analysis, Middle Range Theory Development, and Clinical Application)

• Apply knowledge of characteristics of the four concepts in formulating three nursing assessment questions for each of the four selected concepts of your middle-range theory ( Pender’s Health Promotion Model is the middle-range theory she would like us to use ). (Present questions separately for each concept).

Do you see any way in which Kouhestani’s statement can be true while still given this relationship between the novel’s title and Christianity?

Read Maryam Khouhestani’s article, “Environmental and Social Crises: New Perspective on Social and Environmental Injustice in Octavia E. Butler’s Parable of the Sower” (2015).
There, Kouhestani writes that “Butler initiates Earthseed as a religion against Christianity to show that religion is not passive by nature and that it can be dynamic and constructive” (899).
However, the title of Butler’s novel alludes to Christian scripture (the “New Testament”). Do you see any way in which Kouhestani’s statement can be true while still given this relationship between the novel’s title and Christianity? How does Biblical scripture feature otherwise in Butler’s novel such that it either supports or tells against Khouhestani’s statement? How does the novel’s title (and its meaning), and the other engagements with Christian and Jewish scripture in Butler’s novel, also perhaps complicate, or compliment, Khouhestani’s conclusion that “Lauren (or Butler) believes that the time is ripe for a great change. Although Earthseed is defective, it has the potential to change the world. The most important revision is human destiny” (902)?

WRITE A BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION PROJECT: BASELINE PHASE REPORT

WRITE A BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION PROJECT: BASELINE PHASE REPORT
To assess your baseline as you begin the experiment, you need to observe your target behavior
before you ever treat it. Thus, you will conduct a functional analysis of your target behavior as it
naturally occurs. The baseline observation of your target behavior should be done for at least one
week.
1. Target Behavior: A clear and measurable behavioral definition of your target behavior
(use examples if needed to clarify) should be stated. [Description]
2. Observation Period: Show the dates (and times if relevant) of your baseline phase.
3. Experiment Narrative: Clarify the logistics, setting, and process of your experiment’s
baseline observation phase (natural or analogue setting, structured or unstructured
observation, recording method and instrument, etc.).
4. Dimension(s): The logical dimension(s) – Frequency – Intensity – Duration – Latency –
that were observed and recorded during the baseline are clearly and consistently stated
and shown.
5. Target Behavior Observations: Clearly and completely, but concisely, summarize your
observations of the target behavior during the baseline phase. Descriptions should be
made of triggers (settings/stress/work/conflict) that bring on the target behavior, and
stimuli that help it.

Use the following information to create an X and R chart. Interpret the chart (n = 5).

At a Florida orange juice producer, they have been studying the time it takes to prepare an independent-hauler truck for shipment. This process begins when the production department notifies the traffic depart-ment to arrange for an independent hauler for a juice shipment. When the truck arrives at the plant, the truck’s information is entered into the company’s com-puterized tracking system. This paperwork includes information on previous loads and tank wash records. Since contaminants must not be allowed in juice con-sumed by humans, having a clean tank is of paramount importance. It takes 45 minutes to clean a tanker; 30 minutes round-trip travel time to the wash area and 15 minutes of actual wash. There may also be a line of trucks waiting to be washed. Once back at the plant with a clean truck, the paperwork for the truck is c
om-pleted, requiring an additional 5 minutes. After that, the truck is directed to the bulk storage area. Here the target time is 75 minutes +/-5 minutes, to fill the tank. Use the following information to create an X and R chart. Interpret the chart (n = 5).

Why do you think evaluating a potential borrower’s credit rating is an important component to determining their loan approval?

Discussion Questions to answer for your initial post:
Why do you think a Lender would want to evaluate both the Borrower’s qualification and the Property’s collateral together when making a final decision to finance a specific home purchase?
Why do you think evaluating a potential borrower’s credit rating is an important component to determining their loan approval? What potential drawbacks could there be with the current FICO score system of determining a credit rating?
Why do you think the Mortgage Lender would evaluate the Borrower’s income and apply a limit to the Borrower’s Housing and Debt ratios when determining how much of a loan amount they would qualify for?
Why is it a good idea for a Mortgage Borrower to carefully review the Loan Estimate form provided by their Lender when applying for a Mortgage? Why is it even more important to carefully review the Closing Disclosure prior to completing a Mortgage loan? Can you think of an example of where an error (intentional or otherwise) on these forms can lead to bad consequences for a Borrower?
Describe 2 examples of how the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) helps protects borrowers from unethical Lending practices?
Explain the purpose of a Lender Under Regulation Z being required to provide an Annual Percentage Rate (APR) calculation within their Loan Estimate? How does this information help when shopping and comparing multiple Lender’s Estimates?
Discriminatory and unethical practices in Lending is a serious issue that we still deal with in modern times. What important takeaways did you learn when reviewing this week the Federal Fair Housing and Lending Laws such as the: Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), RESPA, The Mortgage Disclosure Improvement Act (MDIA), The Fair Credit Reporting Act, Community Reinvestment Act as it pertains to how Real Estate Professionals (both in mortgage and all other areas) should provide their services?
