Write an analytical report to focus on the ‘Operations Strategy’ of McDonald’s in a global business environment and the major operations practice they have adopted.

Write an analytical report to focus on the ‘Operations Strategy’ of McDonald’s in a global business environment and the major operations practice they have adopted. You are specifically tasked to:
1. Critically reflect on how operations contribute to McDonald’s organisational performance. In your response, consider which processes are in place to assume the company’s competitive advantage.
2. Assess McDonald’s operations strategy (i.e. ‘lean thinking’, ‘quality’, TQM) and implications for setting up processes and/or supply chains?
3. Evaluate the statement “Honesty and transparency make you vulnerable. Be honest and transparent anyway” from the perspective of McDonald’s operations function. Consider in your response, the transparency, traceability and vulnerability of operations.
4. Based on your analysis, list some recommendations to McDonald’s to remain competitive in a turbulent and global business environment. Consider new trends like veganism and more environmentally conscious customer in your response.
Note: Your recommendations should be listed, following your conclusion and clearly relate to your analysis in the main body (to questions 1 – 3).

What topics, concepts, theories, formulas, instrumentation (equipment), etc. from Chapters 9 & 10 do you think researchers are using to help study the virus?

obtain concepts and theories from many other sciences including biology, chemistry, biomedical engineering, and more! For your lab this week, research how atomic and nuclear physics can help with the fight against the coronavirus. What topics, concepts, theories, formulas, instrumentation (equipment), etc. from Chapters 9 & 10 do you think researchers are using to help study the virus? How are scientists using atomic and nuclear physics to help study the virus and create a vaccine? Use concepts such as atomic theory, size of particles, instruments used to see microscopic particles, etc.
Write two paragraphs to discuss the findings from your research and upload it to this assignment on Moodle. What did you discover about the use of atomic and nuclear physics in the medical field? How can scientists use these two areas of physical science to help study COVID-19, the delta variant, and other illnesses, and create a vaccine? What concepts, theories, principles, and instruments from these two branches of physical science that help researchers study the virus and vaccine?

Discussion #3 – Activity Based Costing
Product: Yogurt
Product URL: https://youtu.be/lkQ1u4ON0dg
1. Identify your product and include the hyperlink to your video segment
2. In your write-up, identify one Unit-level, one Batch-level, one Product-level and one Facility-level activity applicable to your product.
3. For each of the activities that you identify, describe the activity and the applicable allocation base / cost driver, and the best way for the business to track each occurrence of that activity.

Explain and evaluate some of the criticisms leveled against positive psychology; and be sure to reflect on how the country of Bhutan has incorporated happiness into its Constitution.

Explain and evaluate some of the criticisms leveled against positive psychology; and be sure to reflect on how the country of Bhutan has incorporated happiness into its Constitution. Although the strengths of this field have been discussed, it is important for you to also focus on potential weaknesses.
Assume you are attending a conference and roundtable where a researcher argues against positive psychology. Identify those possible points first. Next, use your reasoning and evidence to explain at least four points to take a stand for positive psychology that benefits all cultures. Identify specific examples from a variety of cultural backgrounds to illustrate your findings.

Do scholars tend to find the same relationship between your independent and dependent variable, or are the results mixed?

Introduction (1-2 paragraphs)
What is your question? Why is it important? Give us a summary of what to expect in your paper. (e.g., “In this paper, we analyze data from XYZ SOURCE to understand how INDEPENDENT VARIABLE affects DEPENDENT VARIABLE.”)
Literature Review (~2 pages)
Based your own reasoning and what other scholars have said about your question, what relationship do you expect between your two variables? Summarize what scholars have said about your research question. Do scholars tend to find the same relationship between your independent and dependent variable, or are the results mixed? Do scholars tend to agree on how to conceptualize and measure your independent and dependent variables, or is there disagreement about it?
Please collect and use 6-8 academic sources (articles published in a scholarly journal or books published at a university press—not thinktanks or popular magazine articles). Use an annotated bibliography to help you write this section, but DO NOT simply write a laundry list that strings together the annotated summaries with transition sentences in between. Summarize, integrate, and synthesize.
Data (~1 page, including table and/or visualizations)
Which dataset are you using? Who collected the data? How was it collected? When was it collected? Explain how the independent and dependent variables are measured. If you recoded your variables, how did you recode them? Show us how these variables are distributed (e.g., table, histogram, etc.). Consult the website and/or codebook for the ANES or GSS to learn about the methods used to collect the data.
Methods (1-2 paragraphs)
Explain how you are going to analyze the data and why. Use R for the data analysis (e.g., difference of means, crosstab, regression) that you choose should be appropriate. What is your hypothesis? What is your null hypothesis?
Results (~1 page, including table and/or visualizations)
Calculate appropriate tests of statistical significance. Then, report and explain your findings. Include the appropriate table and graph (if applicable). Interpret the substantive meaning of your findings and interpret the statistical significance of the relationship(s) you report. Do you reject or fail to reject the null hypothesis?
Conclusion (1-2 paragraphs)
Summarize your research question, what you’ve done, and what you’ve found. What are the implications of your findings? Discuss the limitations of your study and suggest the next step researchers studying this research question should take.

Create a medication monitoring grid for ALL medications in your plan that are related to the chronic disease we are discussing even if there are no implemented changes for drugs the patient was on prior to your workup.

Review the case study and perform an analysis. You will follow the example and case study to complete your analysis of the disease process. You will present your plan based on the presented case information. Each analysis must use at least 2 sources (including national guidelines) to support information.

The Case Study Analysis Assignment must be completed in Microsoft Word and conform to proper current APA format. You are required to write a minimum of 5 pages for each analysis and critique. To ensure consistency and quality of effort, reference and follow the examples provided. Typically, a well-done analysis will be 8-15 pages.

The diabetes case study outlines the only information provided to you as the clinician, from this you will be writing a case study analysis. Follow the example template in The attachments. Lists/bulleted points are sufficient in most sections rather than paragraphs. Full sentences are appropriate when discussing your rationale for assessment/evaluation of the patient and when discussing the rationale for drug therapy selection. Explore and apply the evidence-based diabetes treatment guidelines in your course readings. I prefer the American Diabetes Association Standards of Care as they are updated annually with current evidence – these are published in January of each year.

Tips for Writing a Case Analysis
Review the grading rubrics before submitting assignment.
Succinctly state the pathophysiologic condition (i.e. signs and symptoms, diagnosis) that is currently under medical treatment or requires medical intervention.
Each section of the case analysis must be addressed. Don’t assume anything. If you don’t state what you are thinking, I will not be able to give you credit.
The Evaluation section is your assessment of the problem. Incorporate guidelines to discuss how the disease is diagnosed and how well controlled it is in this patient.
Provide the rationale for each of your clinical and therapeutic recommendations. It is NOT enough to simply state that you want to start or adjust Drug X and end the discussion. I want to know why you chose Drug X versus Drug Y and provide your reasons. Even if I disagree with your choices, if the provided rationale is well stated and evidence-based, you may still receive up to full credit for the specific intervention. Providing insight into your decisions may include citing specific evidenced based literature, personal experience/observation, explanation of a drug mechanism of action, side effects/tolerability, time to onset of action etc.
Create a medication monitoring grid for ALL medications in your plan that are related to the chronic disease we are discussing even if there are no implemented changes for drugs the patient was on prior to your workup. If you are suggesting a patient start/continue a medication in your plan, please include a monitoring grid for it. E = effects (how you will monitor or know the medication is working), AE = adverse effects
