Describe your current career plan.

Prompt1: Describe your current career plan. Please include what you have accomplished so far, what stage you are currently in, and what you still want/need to accomplish.
To be honest I have not yet started my career. As of right now, my plan is to finish spring 2023 with my master’s in healthcare administration. My past job as a store manager has really helped me to grow and to have some knowledge in management. I know that retail and healthcare are the total opposite but in both, you must work with people and know how to communicate as well as take on tasks that are put before you. Soon I plan to start job searching in my field of study. I also would like to go in as an assistant human resource manager so that I can learn all the different roles first so that when the time comes to become a human resource manager, I would be ready. Once I’m finished with my bachelor’s degree my plan is to go back and get my master’s. My goal is to move up the ladder as much as possible and one day have my own business.
Prompt2: At your current organization, are you required to attend professional development courses? How are employees trained or retrained in your workplace?
At my past organization, we weren’t required to take any professional development courses. I think that they should start doing professional development courses. Employees were trained instore by the store manager. For associates, they were required to do a one-day training for four hours which included register training, short audio on the consequences of shoplifting, and a tour of the store as well as expectations. For assistant manager training there would be five training days which included 40 hours, and we would also do the things that the associates would do during training, but this training would be a little more, we would also go over the roles and expectations for an assistant manager. Store managers would have to be trained by the training store manager for 40 hours and during this training, we would go through the manager booklet and discuss the different roles and expectations and act as store managers during training. After each of these training, we would take a short quiz.

areas of professional insertion or practice as part of your paper.
Here’s what you need to do to complete this assignment:
1. Prepare your paper following APA style. This applies to
the structure and format of your paper, its content, as well as the quoting
and
listing of references.
2. You may review our textbooks, course materials for this
course, and other scholarly sources in order to complete this paper.
3. Use a professional tone and style. Use proper English
grammar and correct spelling. Proofread your paper before submitting it.
4. Format your document with 1-inch margins (top, bottom,

similar). Double-space the text lines of your document. Make sure to number
your pages.
5. Review the lists of key concepts, principles, and
techniques from applied behavior analysis that you prepared as part of the

into account my feedback as it becomes
available.
7. Identify an issue or relevant target for intervention
that is professional interest to you. Rely on that issue or target for
intervention
to illustrate the application of key concepts, principles, and
techniques that you identified. For instance, if you’re interested in verbal
behavior teaching for children with limited language skills, you may elaborate
on how training of basic verbal operants relies on
behavioral techniques to expand
the children’s verbal repertoires.
8. Pinpoint possible areas or needs for collaboration and
coordination with parents, caregivers, and other professionals as behavior
change programs are developed and conducted.
Going back to our example, you may consider collaborations

teaching
curricula as children interact with each other at school, as well as teaching
parents and caregivers how to carry out mand
and tact teaching routines at
home.
9. Address measures or considerations that directly apply to
achieving generalization and maintenance of intervention outcomes in
the
natural environment or everyday life. Rely on the issue or target for
intervention that you identified above to illustrate your
answer.
10. Support your paper with relevant academic and
professional sources. Follow APA format when citing sources in the body of your
paper. As mentioned above, our textbooks and course materials can point you in
the direction of relevant sources.
11. Organize your paper into sections to increase
readability. You can arrange your sections by topic. Lead each section with a
header or title to identify the topic of each section.
12. You may include a cover page for your paper. Follow APA
style when preparing your cover page.
13. List your references on a separate page. Again, follow
APA style. There is no fixed page limit for your final paper. However, my
suggested page range is 5 to 8 pages (not including the cover or references
pages). Submit it as a Word document and make sure

to address all the
aforementioned points.

Briefly summarize the main points that helped form your analysis. This section should consist of a brief review of your main ideas.

I. Introduction
The introduction of your essay is where readers will learn what your essay is about. Do not give all your information away here. Instead, give readers a sample of what is to come and what you will be supporting with evidence in the essay’s body. Do not forget to review your outline to make sure you briefly cover all of the key points you identified. If your claim and key points have changed since then, it is okay!
Provide an overview of the work you have analyzed, briefly describing the main points and your reaction to the author’s claim.
Compose a thesis that you will support with evidence throughout the essay. This statement will give direction to your essay and should be well thought out.
II. Body
The body is your opportunity to support your evaluation of the author’s argument. Ensure that your thoughts and evidence are clear and easy to read and understand.
Be sure to write organized paragraphs that clearly state their main idea and move logically from one to the other.
Your body paragraphs should support your thesis by combining thoughts and ideas with evidence or key points from the selected reading. There is no such thing as a right or wrong evaluation; the key is how well your analysis is supported and the quality of the evidence used.
III. Conclusion
Think of the conclusion paragraph as a review of your analysis. Use this section to restate your evaluation and remind readers of your supporting evidence. Think of this paragraph as your last chance to prove your point.
Briefly summarize the main points that helped form your analysis. This section should consist of a brief review of your main ideas.
Draw conclusions based on your evidence.
Use evidence that you have found to wrap up the essay in a meaningful way that relates to your audience.
Guidelines for Submission
Your analysis essay must be 3–4 pages (plus references) and must be written in MLA or APA format. Use double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins.
