Write a Rhetorical Analysis on Nzingha Prescod the #2 ranked women’s foil fencer in the United States.https://vimeo.com/176507317

THIS LINK IS FOR THE SHORT CLIP YOU WILL BE DOING THE RHETORICAL ANALYSIS ON.

In this essay, you will look at an artistic work, specifically a film (short 5 min, feature), and offer a critical analysis of it. This is NOT a movie or book review, but rather an essay that argues for a specific interpretation or staking a claim about the effectiveness of the work. You will research and discuss the short film in relation to the issue portrayal in the movie, and analyze it – making sure to discuss the appeals used in the film (pathos, logos, ethos). You will write a 3-4 page paper, analyzing the short film in terms of its depiction of the chosen focus. You will gather a minimum of 2 sources, including the film as one, to assist you in your analysis of the short film and research of your chosen focus. Make sure you cite reliable sources, and make sure you cite those sources correctly in MLA formatting.

Write the section on our company’s challenges last time, but after some more discussion in our group, we decided to leave only two challenges: 1. the problem of cash flow and 2. the problem of lack of teacher resources (which can be interpreted as how to get more teachers). I hope you can expand on each of these two points and discuss the challenges we are currently facing.

Here are three documents that can give you some references. The presentation is what we used when we did the presentation of this business challenge case, and there are some bullet points in it; Oral Report is the content of this case written by others in our group, and the scriipt is some of my thoughts about the challenge in the presentation.

Write a Literature Review -Evaluation of SCSU Higher Education Administration Doctoral Program’s Online Student Orientation

Write a Literature Review -Evaluation of SCSU Higher Education Administration Doctoral Program’s Online Student Orientation
This literature review will be for a research paper that hopes to assess the effectiveness of an online orientation program for an education doctoral program at St. Cloud State University.

I have already written a literature review and all of the sources to be used are provided.

The structure of this literature review needs to be rewritten and formatted into more of a technical style and structured to include an Introduction, Body, and Conclusion. https://writingcenter.unc.edu/tips-and-tools/literature-reviews/

Review this 11 minute video for more specific instructions.

Conclusions from specific sections should be moved to the CONCLUSION section. Transitional language should be used between sections. The most relevant sources should be cited in the conclusions section along with gaps in the literature review.

Let me know if you cannot access the video.

Analyze recent (within 18 months) newsworthy event documented in a journal article or reliable source with respect to class, race, gender and crime

Analyze recent (within 18 months) newsworthy event documented in a journal article or reliable source with respect to class, race, gender and crime. The purpose of the article assignments is to encourage critical thinking and analysis about issues of class, race, and gender in relation to inequality and privilege or bias, as well as the effect of criminal justice polices on these concepts. The assignment will also help students understand the past, current and future direction of policy and practice with regards to class, race, gender and crime.

While there is no minimum word count for these assignments, it is still necessary for students to fully explore the significance of the events discussed within their journal articles. To accomplish this, students should make an effort to understand more than just what’s happening in the immediate present. Hence, students will (1) first summarize the facts of the event. Then, they will (2) critically think about the historic value of an event. Next, students will (3) discuss how the event affects the current environment. Finally, students should (4) discuss possible ramifications of the event for future direction of policy and practice. (5) In considering these possible subsequent actions, students should let history and/or current law be their guide.

As with all written assignments, students should present original work that is informed by academic resources. In developing their thoughts, students should utilize at least two other academic sources of information. This is to enable students critically analyze the events based on other perspectives, apart from their chosen article. These sources can include the assigned text and one other academic source. Students should use APA format for both in-text citations and to construct a proper reference section.

Do the differences/similarities reinforce ideas established by some of our theorists?

Because Greeks and Romans often organized their myths around dichotomies, symbolic pairings, and other criteria, you are assigned the task of comparing and/or contrasting Zeus and Apollo.
You can compare and/or contrast the deities’ actions, characterizations, sexuality, physical appearances, manner of worship, and powers and how they were wielded, according to ancient texts (providing citations as necessary).
Not all of these characteristics are necessary, however. If you can’t determine a main point about a god’s sexuality, you don’t need to mention it.
You can choose to examine only similarities, only differences, or a mix of both similarities or differences.
The important point is that it is not enough for a paper to merely list the similarities and/or differences between the two

This is an example of a GOOD outline and thesis:
Intro and thesis: “While both share [similar] characteristics 1, 2, 3, X’s use of them can best be explained by Theorist A, while Y’s can best be explained by Theorist B.
Body 1: Focus on the three similar characteristics. Examples for X and Y. The goal of this paragraph is to establish the similarities.
Body 2: Focus on how X can be explained by Theorist A and not Theorist B. Examples and thoughtful analysis.
Body 3: Focus on how Y can be explained by Theorist B and not Theorist A. Examples and thoughtful analysis.
Conclusion: author returns to the thesis without simply repeating it, leaving the reader with the impression that something of interest and importance has been discussed here.

This is another example of a GOOD outline and thesis:

Body 1: Focus on the three similar characteristics. Examples for X and Y. The goal of this paragraph is to establish the similarities.

This is the list of theorists to choose from:
Burkert’s theory
Freud’s theory
Jung’s theory
Levi- Strauss’ theory
Malinowski’s theory
Muller’s theory
Propp’s theory

Possible questions to consider:
Do the differences/similarities reinforce ideas established by some of our theorists?
Do the differences/similarities emphasize gender roles?
Do the differences/similarities teach ancient Greeks and Romans how to act or live?
Compare and/or contrast the deities’ actions, characterizations, sexuality, physical appearances, manner of worship, and powers and how they were wielded, according to ancient texts (providing citations as necessary).
It is NOT enough for a paper to merely list the similarities/ differences between the two deities.
Clearly state WHY these similarities and difference exist and the purpose they serve in myth.

This should NOT be written as an opinion paper.
Required to have at least three sources (two of which should be written by ancient authors.
The third source can be a modern, scholarly article or book, ancient text, or your textbook, NO WEBSITES
Must have BOTH parenthetical citations and a bibliography. MUST use MLA formatting for their citations and bibliography.
Your thesis should directly explain why the similarities and/or differences exist and the purpose they serve ancient Greeks and Romans

Be double spaced
No more than 900 words
Be typed in 12-point Times New Roman font
Have 1-1.5 inch margins

Examples of what NOT to do in this paper:
DO NOT organize your paper with a summary of one god in paragraph 1, a summary of the second god in paragraph 2, and an explanation of the similarities/differences in paragraph 3. This does not focus on the goal of the paper: to fully analyze the similarities and/or differences THROUGHOUT the paper.
This is an example of a BAD outline and thesis:
Intro and thesis: X and Y are similar, and yet different.
Body 1: X and Y are similar.
Body: X and Y are different.
Conclusion: You see? X and Y are similar, and yet different.
This is another example of a BAD outline and thesis:
Intro and thesis: X and Y are similar, and yet different.
Body 1: All about X.
Body 2: All about Y.
Conclusion: You see? X and Y are similar, and yet different.
