In postoperative patient’s how does music therapy compare to the standard treatment of care decrease pain levels? You must include 2 data-based articles for this project. Please use the attached template. Remember that the evidence table is a place to record the most important elements of your keeper studies so that your group can determine similarities and differences between them. Using phrases instead of full sentences is preferable. See examples from class and linked on our BB site.
*The appraisal tables are linked to help you appraise each article. You will put your quality appraisal (Good, Fair, Poor) in the evidence table. You do not need to submit the appraisal tables; only submit one evidence table as described above.

Write letter for a civil service job promotion and now you need a letter to appeal there decision basically said you don’t qualify that the promotional job announcement would not serve as a promotion from my current title which is wrong. Were all one dept public works. So need a letter stating This would be a promotion within public works dept from a senior rd inspector to a road repair supervisor. When I started I was a road repairer then I went to Engineering which is still public works dept and took a LATERAL transfer as a road inspector they said titles were equal then became senior road inspector in public works and now applying for promotion of road repair supervisor which is a promotion! I qualify for the road repair supervisor promotion a I have all the related experience required plus more. They said basically needed to be a sr road repairer to get road supervisor but I was a road repairer but became road inspector again which was equal title so I dont know what the issue is I more then qualify for promotion. I will upload original letter you guys wrote for when applied for job so you can see experience. Hope you understand what im looking for I know its alot of confusion im sorry. Basically its the titles thing saying I dont qualify cause im sr road inspector not sr road repairer but again it was a lateral transfer they said titles were equal and I have all required experience for the promotion. Thank uou!
Discuss and explore the use of inferential and descriptive analysis in public safety agencies.
Discuss and explore the use of inferential and descriptive analysis in public safety agencies. Selecting 2 different public safety agencies, find 1 example displaying the use of descriptive data and 1 example reflecting inferential analysis. In 2 paragraphs, you will introduce your examples to the class, name the type of analysis undertaken, and suggest other types of statistical analysis that could be undertaken with these data or by including other data.
The specific steps are as follows:
Engage in independent research, and find 2 different public safety agencies using statistical analysis.
Of your selected examples, 1 example must reflect the use of descriiptive data and 1 must be an example of inferential analysis

Using relevant theories Identify and diagnosing the SEN of an individual and provide possible interventions.
DESCRIBE very briefly (in about 150 words) the main characters and the relevant factual elements in the case.
The case study analysis written assignment (approximately 5-7 pages, double spaced, 12 pt font, Times New Roman Font, 1 inch margins) constitutes evidence of your understanding of the concepts presented in the readings and materials.
To do the analysis:
1. Read and reflect upon the discussion questions posed in 3-40 Cynthia Claasen and Tom McNamara, “The Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill” 297.
2. Afterwards, use your notes about the discussion questions to:
DESCRIBE very briefly (in about 150 words) the main characters and the relevant factual elements in the case.
DISCERN the most significant ethical issues in the case.
DETERMINE the main options available to agent(s).
DECIDE which is the (most) ethical option and create a plan to implement the option.
DEFEND the decision and the moral principles that it appeals to.
Explain why this theory is appropriate to/enlightening for your Issue.
We were suppose to choose an organization that we were apart of and do a case analysis of it in three different papers throughout the semester building off of each paper we have. I will attach my first paper so you can read and see what organization I had chose. I decided to go with a reffing organization that I am apart of. For this paper you will need to relate a theory in the book to a current problem the orgnaization has at the moment. A problem within my reffing organization that you can use is there is a lack/poor communication between the tournament director and the refs and he tends to overbook people. He also has a hard time keeping track of how many games people reff and then gives them the incorrect amount and can be very unprofessional. Another problem is he doesnt have security at these games so when the parents get out of hand I have seen them get in the refs faces and the refs dont feel protected. If you dont want to use one of these that is fine but please come up with a good problem within my orgnaization. When I attach my first paper I did you can build off of that as that is what is required for this paper. My first paper will give you background on my organization if you need anything else please contact me. Guidelines for OCS Paper #2: Problem Assessment For OCS #2 you will analyze some aspect of the same organization by viewing it through the lens of one the theories we have discussed in class. Your goal is to use a theory to help explain and understand an existing problem (aspect, issue…) in the organization. Please do not try to explain the organization as a whole. Your paper needs to focus on one specific problem or aspect of the organization. That said, choose your topic carefully. It should be interesting, important, and complex enough to warrant analysis. Once you have focused on a specific issue, choose a theory or set of concepts that best explains it. The Basics -Assignments value: 100 points. -5 pages, typed and double spaced. -Use APA style when citing sources. -You should make use of at least 4 outside scholarly sources (again consisting of peer reviews journal articles or primary source books, not your text book). Criteria for Evaluation The paper demonstrates: -Good, concise writing with proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling. -Clear organization with a distinct introduction (attention getting opener, clear thesis, clear preview of your paper’s main points), body, and conclusion. -Coherence: the paper poses a thesis and clear preview of main points and carries them all the way through. -Appropriateness and relevance in selecting your problem and applying theories and concepts. -A command of the problem and concepts being applied. -A complete analysis supported by evidence and explanation. -A thoughtful critique of both your problem and the theory. Tips -Do not wait until the last minute to start your paper. When you are doing a real-life case study, you cannot pull this knowledge off the Web, you need to talk to people in the organization. If your knowledge is limited, you will not have enough evidence to make your case and your analysis will be thin. -In the process of thinking about your paper, do not be afraid to experiment and try on different theories-each one will illuminate different things. The trick is finding the approach that allows you to do an interesting and insightful analysis. -Each worthy paper has a focus on its focal point and sets out to answer that question. The best analyses pose “How” or “Why” questions (., “How is my 4 organization limited by bureaucratic procedures?”; “How can the organization grow?”; “Why do the same people keep getting elected or appointed to leadership positions?”; “Why am I getting mixed messages from different managers?”; “How is an organization’s culture enacted?”). Having a question (a goal) in mind helps you focus your research, writing, and editing to achieve that goal. What do you need to do in order to answer that question? Does every paragraph in your paper address it? -Keep in mind that you cannot say everything in a paper like this. You need to make deliberate choices about your question, the organization, the problem, the theory, etc. If you make thoughtful choices, you will have a more thoughtful analysis. Recommended Framework J. Introduce your Paper (1 page) A. Start with a compelling opening about why your organizational issues are important or interesting. Think of this as your attention getting device. B. Provide a relevance component which allows your reader to relate to the organization or what is happening within it. C. State your thesis (the main claim of your paper). D. Briefly preview the organization of your paper. II. Out the problem/aspect of your organization you wish to analyze (1-2 pages) C. Give your reader the necessary and relevant background information to understand the issue at hand. D. Frame your issue as a communication issue. III. Analyze the problem from a theoretical perspective discussed in class and/or in your readings to date (3-4 pages). A. Review the anchoring theory or set of concepts you will use. 1. Clearly, but briefly discuss the theory and its key assumptions and elements. 2. Explain why this theory is appropriate to/enlightening for your Issue. B. Apply the concepts to your issue (Analyze the problem). 1. Highlight the significant features of the problem using the theoretical vocabulary you just reviewed. a. Provide clear linkages between the case and the concepts. How do the aspects of the problem and the concepts relate to each other? b. In your analysis, provide specific evidence of your 5 problem (description, detail, examples). 2. What does this theory call to our attention? How does it explain the problem? 3. Does it suggest possible solutions? Explain. E. Now that you have reviewed and applied a theory to this problem, take a moment to reflect upon the theory 1. Is this theory a truly useful perspective for understanding organizational communication? Why/why not? 2. What are the inevitable limitations of this application? For example, does the theory miss or obscure other important elements of this organization’s communication? If so, what? Why are they important to consider? IV. Come to a conclusion and give the possible implications of your analysis (1 page) A. Based on your analysis, what can be done, if anything, about the problem? B. What did you learn about your organization? On a more general level, what do you know now about organizational communication you did not know before? C. What can you do with this knowledge?
