Bakery Problem Solving
Let’s consider a fictitious bakery, Dee’s Tasty Creations (Dee’s). Dee’s business model consists of producing all of its products in a single, centralized mega-bakery, which are then shipped out to the individual bakery outlets. Dee’s has a total of threebakery outlets, the locations of which are summarized below:1JSA bakery on Jane Street in NYC2WSA bakery on Wall Street in NYC3PUFFA bakery in Poughkeepsie, outside of NYCDee’s menu is simple yet delicious, and as such, the mega-bakery produces a total of three types of baked goods: chocolate chip cookies (CCC), apple pie (AAPL), and banana bread (BBRD). Due to oven size restrictions, Dee’s is limited in how much of each item it can produce each day. These limits are summarized in the table below
Doing cross-bakery shipments where one of Dee’s outlets ships its surplus (if available) to another Dee’s location. The surplus shipment will be delivered the same day it is shipped.Questions Part 1When items are shipped from the mega-bakery to Dee’s outlets, the inventory of the Dee’s location receiving the items is only incremented once the shipment is complete. For example, if 1JS has an inventory of 600 AAPL and on day 0 the mega-bakery ships 1JS an additional 100 AAPL, then on day 1, when the shipment arrives, the inventory of 1JS is incremented by 100 AAPL.Similarly, when customers place orders, the inventory of the Dee’s location from which the orders are being picked up is only decremented on thepick-up date. For example, if a customer orders 300 BBRD from 3PUFF on day 0, then the inventory of 3PUFF is decremented by 300 BBRD on day 2, the pick-up day.In the excel file there is a worksheet called ‘Data’. This contains information over a four day period about the customer orders and shipments from the mega-bakery at each of Dee’s locations. You may assume that each Dee’s location starts with 500 of each bakery item at the beginning of the period shown. By using the data provided, please answer the following questions.A.Fill in the ‘inventory_date’ column in the ‘Data’ worksheet -this is the date on which a given order or shipment has an incremental or decremental effect on the outlet’s inventoryB.Due to an issue with the company supplying the refrigerated trucks used to transport the AAPL items, all of the shipments of AAPL cannot be shipped for the period shown. With this in mind, calculate the amount of each item that each of Dee’s locations holds in inventory at the end of each day. (Please fill in your answers in the boxes provided on the ‘Answers sheet tab’and note that negative quantities should be included.) Questions Part 2With respect to the data in the excel sheet and the information with which you have been provided, please complete the following questions:A.Considering the order and shipment information provided, what issues around order fulfillment might arise for Dee’s over the time period for which you’ve been given data?B.How could Dee’s counteract issues with order fulfillment once they occur?C.How could Dee’s implement a system to help prevent issues with order fulfillment in the future?
Degree to Which Community College Prepare Students for University Education Questions
Create at least 7 questions for your project data collection:
Project 3 topic: Degree to Which Community College Prepare Students for University Education
Project three requires that you survey at least 100 people to help you gather quantifiable data for our project three research project.
To begin, think about some of the research questions that you want to address in your study. To help gather quantifiable data, you are going to want to ask close-ended questions to limit the scope of answers. Consider some of the following:
Do you think BCCC is preparing students to be successful at the university level?
Are there certain classes that prepare students at BCCC for the rigor of university-level courses?
Both of these answers are close-ended to the point where they will only elicit a small pool of answers. For our survey, that is perfectly acceptable. We will be conducting an interview for this project which will complement the close-ended questions with more quality answers. Thus, we are using qualitative data to inform our quantitative data.
For this discussion board, we are going to focus on developing the questions(at least 7 questions) that you are going to ask your peers and develop the demographic that you are going to reach out to.

GOOD, BAD, AND LOVING
Overview
This week, you will be writing a paper in which you apply theories and concepts from social psychology related to prosocial behavior, rejection, and close relationships. You will also be required to apply behavioral ethics and critical thinking concepts. Successful practitioners understand the dynamics of various relationships. Their understanding of that which affects a successful relationship enables them to support positive and loving relationships for their clients.
Preparation
Complete the Riverbend City: Good, Bad, and Loving Case Studies media piece if you haven’t already or if you would like to make changes to the choices you made. Review the case study you want to focus on and the social psychology theory, behavioral ethics concept, and critical thinking concept you want to use in your paper.
If you didn’t finish your research last week, use the Capella library to find a scholarly journal article related to the social psychology theory you chose. You are required to use two articles in your paper. The second article should be one of the following:
Reciprocity: Mahmoodi, A., Bahrami, B., & Mehring, C. (2018). Reciprocity of social influence. Nature Communications, 9(1), 1–9.
Unrequited Love: Bamford, R. (2015). Unrequited: Neurochemical enhancement of love. Cambridge Quarterly of Healthcare Ethics, 24(3), 355–360.
Social Exchange Theory: Fallis, E. E., Rehman, U. S., Woody, E. Z., & Purdon, C. (2016). The longitudinal association of relationship satisfaction and sexual satisfaction in long-term relationships. Journal of Family Psychology, 30(7), 822–831.
Review the Good, Bad, and Loving Assignment Template [DOCX] that you will use to write your paper.
