Deforestation in the Amazonian Region
Bring awareness to deforestation in the Amazon because the effects of
deforestation in the Amazon have a worldwide effect. Geography is the study of places and the
relationships between people and their environments. According to National Geographic, deforestation
is “human-driven and natural loss of trees—deforestation—affects wildlife,
ecosystems, weather patterns, and even the climate” and this makes it
relevant to the study of geography.
During my research, I expect to find shocking details, but I hope to
also find the most effective ways to battle deforestation in the Amazon and
bring awareness to this issue.
Below is an outline of how to organize the project.
Who is being impacted?
·
Indigenous people
·
Locals
·
Flora & Fauna
·
Ecosystem/Wildlife
·
Climate
Underlying causes:
·
Cattle Ranching
·
Small-Scale Agriculture
·
Industrial Agriculture
·
Fires
·
Loggers
·
Mining Operations (gold)
Who is at fault?
·
“the Amazon Rainforest is enduring a
near-constant onslaught from ranchers, farmers, loggers, and land-grabbers”
Moriyama, V. (2021, November 19). Amazon deforestation: Causes, effects, facts,
and; how to stop it. Sentient Media.
·
Lack of regulations on land usage and lack of
enforcement on regulations
·
Consumers of goods
What is being done to help combat the issue?
·
How consumers can help (being mindful)
·
Protecting the land (land regulations)
·
Stopping illegal mining and logging

you can compare the date before and after.
Project Including:
Chapter 1.* Introduction
1.1 background of your report.
why you choose this topic, invention or problem solving?
1.2 scope of work
1.3 Aims
1.4 objectives
1.5 the layout of this report.
Chapter 2
will talk about *literature survey* related to your project title.
For example, update the old power monitoring system and using BMS
*Chapter 3*
will be the Methodology based on authors who did it successfully and published their works in articles/papers which should be quite close to chosen topic through Google scholar.
*Chapter 4*
is mainly talking about the raw data you obtained from the theories, equations or the experiental methods through chapter 3, i.e. the methodology.
*Chapter 5*
can be the analysed results based on the raw data from chapter 4 above, by using mathematical technique, or statistical skills to arrive at a result.
In this chapter, you can use the analysed results to produce tables, curves, histograms, pie charts, etc, to enrich the reports..
*Chapter 6* *Conclusions*
how good you can testify and verify your applied theories and equations from chapter 2,i.e. the serached literatures to achieve the AIMS which you’ve promised in *chapter 1* under the sub-item 1.3.
The literature reviews shall be searched from *google.com* for at least 5 articles/papers from the worldwide authors /scholars. You need to highlight their successful works with which they are suitable and meeting your chosen title as a result.
Afterwards you need to cite the authurs’ names and their papers you searched and studied into the “References” at the end of your report in
*HARVARD REFERENCING METHODS (HRM).*

Information system is and why they are essential for running and managing a business
For this assignment, you will review two case studies. Then in a PowerPoint presentation, you will evaluate the studies and respond to each of the questions below, using both critical thinking and theory as well as supporting documentation:
1. Based on your reading of the case study ‘Can You Run the Company with Your iPhone?’, discuss how emerging technology is helping Network Rail improve railway performance and safety.
2. Based on your reading the case study ‘AbbVie Builds a Global Systems Infrastructure’, discuss the problems the company was experiencing as a global enterprise and how the company was able to solve them. Explain their
information technology infrastructure. Discuss information systems solutions that can be applied this issue.
In formatting your PowerPoint presentation, do not use the question-and-answer format; instead use bullets, charts, etc. in your slides to identify important points and then discuss those points in the speaker notes of each slide.
Your presentation should be a minimum of eight slides in length (not counting title and references slides). You are
required to use a minimum of three peer-reviewed, academic sources that are no more than five years old (one may be your textbook). All sources used, including the textbook, must be referenced; all paraphrased material must have accompanying in-text citations.
Important note: Speaker note is important part of power point slide, please make sure it’s free of plagiarism and You are required to use a minimum of three peer-reviewed, academic sources that are no more than five years old.
Process of Role Transition
Discussion:
Compare the primary care NP role with other APN roles. What are the similarities among the roles, what are the differences, and how would you communicate the role to a healthcare provider and a consumer?
Be on the look out for the rubric
Did economic, political and social developments in the Gilded Age make people living in the United States more or less free?
Did economic, political and social developments in the Gilded Age make people living in the United States more or less free? In answering this question, you need to explain what economic, political and social developments occurred in this era; you need to consider how these developments altered life, for better or worse, for various populations in the United States (think here, for example, about nonwhite populations, ethnic Mexicans, southern and eastern European immigrants, women across racial and class lines, the working class broadly, business leaders, urban and rural populations). The best possible answer will consider the era prior to the Gilded Age, and the lingering effects of Gilded Age transformations.
Tips:
Present a clear argument right away that answers the question directly.
Take up ALL of the hints and guidelines provided in the question.
Always explain your arguments – don’t assume your reader will automatically know what you’re talking about.
Always provide evidence for your arguments using material from the lectures and the textbook and (to the extent they’re useful) the relevant discussion boards.
Try your best to write in paragraphs.
Include an introduction and conclusion
A sizable tax on carbon is an efficient way for Canada and Alberta to deal with environmental challenges and sell oil and gas products to the world. Do you agree or disagree and why?
Detailed instructions are in the attached files. The topic I chose is “A sizable tax on carbon is an efficient way for Canada and Alberta to deal with environmental challenges
and sell oil and gas products to the world. Do you agree or disagree and why?”
The instruction asks me to set Independent Variable and Dependent variable for the reseach.
The Independent Variable is:SIze of the tax imposed on oil and gas product
The dependent Variable is :Social welfare changes or net effect of imposed tax
The thesis statement is: A sizeabl tax is an effecitve way to deal with environmental challenges, while it does negatively affect the GDP and export of Oil and gas products to the world. It is essential to find out the optimal level of carbon tax.
I have uploaded essay submission form to my Prof, so I need several elements to be contained in this essay.
1. Use of some economic approaches to analyse this issue, for examle, consumer and producer welfare analysis,DWL generated by the carbon tax
2. Use the environmental Kuznet curve to explain the relationship between income level and environent, to demonstrate that some sort of income reduction by tax could improve people’s welfare by giving them a better environment
3. State the effects of tax on oil and gas on export.
