Literary Analysis Through Reasoning
When analyzing text, one never starts with a conclusion in mind, but gradually arrives at one through
the gathering of evidence. Additionally, a conclusion based on effective reasoning can be true, but it
may not be the only truth.
In a literary analysis, one will need to present some type of argument or claim (thesis) based on the text
that is being analyzed. The essay will then support the claim through textual evidence, possibly
additional research, and your own experiences and/or observations.

Objection: the final paper should include at least one potential objection to your own view and your reply to it.
