Theology: THE PROBLEM OF GOD

C‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌hoose one reading from this list that especially interests you. • Genesis 1:1 – 2:3 (First Creation Story) • Genesis 2:4-25 (Second Creation Story) • Genesis 6-9 (The Flood Story) • Genesis 22 (Abraham and Isaac) • Exodus 1-6 (The Call of Moses) Write an essay of 1000-1200 words that includes the parts below. Describe in detail the relationship between God and humanity depicted in this reading. Imagine you’re a tour guide showing your audience around the reading and pointing out important points and details. • A good description will explain some of God’s qualities, some of human beings’ qualities, and how God and humans relate to each other, as presented by the author. Answer this question: what do God and human beings expect of each other in their relationship? This is your thesis statement. • Use information from your description to sho‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌w how you’ve come to your thesis about their expectations of each other. What challenges does each party face in this relationship? Conclude the essay in one brief paragraph that reminds me of the thesis and leaves me with your most persuasive supporting point. Give the essay a title: read through your paper to create an interesting title that captures the theme of your writing and grabs interest. Use direct evidence from the readings and other course materials in the form of multi-sentence quotes: • Phrases or single sentences mislead the reader because they don’t offer enough to show the thinker’s point. • No outside sources are permitted; any use of them, including dictionaries, will be significantly penalized. Are organized into separate paragraphs that connect to each other Cite Biblical quotes correctly and provide a Works Cited in MLA form for cours‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌e materials other than the Bible.

Must be submitted as a Word doc or PDF file. Kotter Model Harvard Business School professor John P. Kotter proposed that companies should follow eight stages when instituting change. Here is a summary of his suggested steps. 1. Create a sense of urgency when intr‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌oducing the change effort. 2. Build a coalition. 3. Create a vision for change and make change a part of the vision. 4. Communicate a plan for change 5. Eliminate obstacles to change 6. Create small wins 7. Build on change 8. Make change a part of culture. Source: Kotter, J. P. (1996). Leading change. Boston, MA: Harvard Business. School Press. Lewin’s Model Lewin’s three-stage process of change emphasizes the importance of preparation or unfreezing before change, and reinforcement of change afterward or refreezing. How do you plan, organize, and execute change effectively? One of the most useful frameworks in this area is Kurt Lewin’s three-stage model of planned change. [14] The assumption is that change will encounter resistance. Therefore, executing change without prior preparation is likely to lead to failure. Instead, organizations should start with unfreezing, or making sure that organizational members are ready for and receptive to change. This is followed by change, or executing the planned changes. Finally, refreezing involves ensuring that change becomes permanent and the new habits, rules, or procedures become the norm. Lewin K. (1951). Field theory in social science. Explain why police should obtain higher education.

Prompt for essay:
There has been a long-standing debate over whether a college education for police officers is necessary or even desirable. In present-day society, with the ever-expanding complexity of the police force in addition to focus on higher education, this question is more significant than ever. Based on your opinion in conjunction with available empirical research, does higher education benefit police officers? Identify and explain an officer’s education in relation to performance, use of force and promotion. Identify what areas of policing and education may be correlated but require further research.

I believe that yes police should obtain higher education and I have four websites to backup my reasoning.
