Purpose
The purpose of the first paper is to learn:
1) the current level of policy engagement in their field agency and
2) identify one policy that has an impact on the agency and the clients that receive services from the agency.
Students should first talk to colleagues, field instructors, managers and/or clients in order to make an assessment regarding the current level of policy engagement by the agency. Following these conversations, students should select a current policy area for investigation.
