Police Report – Learning Journal Report

Suggested journal headings: (Follow this structure please)

 Introduction
 Scenario involvement
 Experiences and observations
 Personal learning and development
 ConclusionSuggested journal headings

Please follow the “Learning Journal Assignment Instructions” DOCUMENT, and the “Grading Rubric Learning Journal” as those documents will state how to cover all aspects of this report. The scenario you will be writing about is attached in the document called “jpg2pdf”, this document is pictures of my scenario and all information is stated in that picture of my notebook. For the feedback from the professor for that scenario, I should not have arrested the underage male party drinking as he was not showing any signs of impairment and he was able to walk on (that was the only mistake I made). Please state how I will make sure that the arrest was not right and how I learned from it. The document called “Report” is my personal report in policing/security format written by me at my workplace. That document is not a scenario, it is a real life situation i dealt with at my job and it is only given to you to show you the format and wording on how to write this report. Please do not use that information into this paper however that is the format. Please use 3rd person as well for this report, for example, “Officer. THARMARAJAH” observed this and that. The report headings is attached at the top of this paragraph, you do not need to add headings, however, please follow that structure. Please read the instructions document and the rubric instructions as those are really important to you. And the other two documents as well. If you need more information for this report and what happened in my class sessions then please text in chat and I will respond with more information. Please make this assignment 5 pages and that is not including the title page. Please do not use any outside sources as it is not allowed, only use the information and source from my notebook information attached called “jpg2pdf”. Once again, the document called “Report” is just an example of my personal report to show you the format, and how I write my security report, so please refrain from using any information from there into this learning journal report. Please if you have any questions or need more information to complete certain subheadings or topics please type in the chat and I will respond as soon as possible as this is worth %30 of my final grade. Thank you so much!

Design phase: System Design

Please answer ALL the questions listed below.
All answers should be presented according to the instruction and the simulated narrative case in 340_TermProject_Final.pdf
For individual assignment, it is okay to submit only 1 input screen, 1 output screen in dashboard, and 1 output screen as report (a total of 3 designs).
Chapter 8
1.)Design 2 substantively different user interfaces (UI) for input that meet DNA & Your Ancestry’s system requirements as captured in your System Requirements Document. List the system requirement(s) that each of the UIs is designed to meet (be thorough and specific).
These need not be functional but they must follow the principles and guidelines discussed in the textbook and lecture notes. Refer to Figures 8-10 and 8-11 examples of what you need to produce in this question.
You can use PowerPoint, MS Access, or any other application in which to create your UIs. Note that your UIs must look exactly as you would like them to appear in the final IS.
A login screen or main menu screen will not be accepted.
2)For output design, develop at least 2 output screens in dashboard and 2 reports to be printed that meet DNA and Your Ancestry’s system requirements as captured in your System Requirements Document. List the system requirement(s) that each of the UIs is designed to meet.
Dashboard screens and reports must be substantively different.
Populate your UIs with enough dummy (i.e. made up) data so that it illustrates fully the report format to meet DNA & Your Ancestry’s output system requirements.
Use the detailed report in Figure 8-15 as a guideline and make sure that you include all the necessary aspects in all your reports.
Note that in reports, numbers are right-justified; the text is left-justified.
You can use PowerPoint, MS Access, or any other application in which to create your output screens and reports. Note that your output must look exactly as you would like it to be in the final IS. For example, if there are grid lines on your UI I will assume that you intend for the user to see it that way.
Some general tips for the term project on Chapter 8
Don’t forget to list an associated system requirement that each UI is designed to meet in your accompanying text.
A total of 6 designs (2 UI, 2 output screens, and 2 reports) are required for this assignment.
Please submit a word document. You can save your designs as image files, copy and paste images, or insert screenshots of your designs.
Example:
User interfaces – If you had an input system requirements like “An user must enter their names, contact information, and select which service they want to use via web application,” you can create an interface where the user can enter these information and submit it. This interface can display buttons, icons, and form entries.
Output screens – If you selected an output system requirement like, “The new IS must create daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly reports for the employees” (your system requirements should be more specific), an output screen can display a summary of information of their sales or new customers. It can include some charts or plots.
Reports – It can be a table format including texts and figures as you can see from an example in the textbook.
You are designing imaginary screens and reports that meet the system requirements. The designs should display necessary elements. After then, you could focus on creating nice-looking graphics included in your screens, but I do not expect the expert-level graphic designs.

Project Management in Business Individual assignment 1

1. the requirement and questions are files”INFS6071 Individual Assignment 1 tables (Q1 and Q2)” and “Individual assignment 1 (PART 1 and PART 2) S1 2023.pdf”
2. Please read the case “Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway with highlight.pdf”, it is a little long, but please read carefully to answer the questions.
3.”summary” is the summary of the case, but there is a lot of Chinese in it, maybe you can only understand part of English, so it is more convenient to read the original case.

Cancel Culture on social media

I need a persuasive essay against cancel culture on social media.

Introduction: The introduction is where readers will have a chance to get an idea of what your essay will be about and what you will prove throughout. Do not go into too much detail here but give readers a preview of what is to come. Remember to review your writing plan to ensure that you are briefly hitting the key points you planned to cover while also stating your claim.
Provide an overview of the issue you have selected by briefly describing the main points and your argument.
Compose a thesis that states the argument that you will attempt to prove and support throughout your essay. This statement will give direction to your essay and should be well thought out.
Body: The body is your opportunity to describe and support your argument in depth. Make certain your thoughts and evidence are clear and organized in a way that is easy for readers to follow and understand.
Ensure that you write multiple focused paragraphs, clearly state their main idea, and move logically from one to the next, building the thesis argument as the essay progresses.
Your body paragraphs should support your argument by purposefully combining ideas with evidence from sources. The key to a persuasive essay is how well it is supported with quality evidence.
Address and refute at least one opposing viewpoint to your argument, which is your chance to discredit a significant opposing view and strengthen your argument in the process.
Conclusion: Think of the conclusion as a review of your argument. Use this section to restate your argument and remind readers of your supporting evidence. This paragraph is your last chance to persuade readers to agree with you.
Briefly summarize the main points of your essay. This section should consist of a brief review of your main ideas.
Draw conclusions based on your evidence.
Use evidence that you have found to wrap up the essay in a meaningful way that makes a connection to your audience.

Some possible topics include: a popular figure from the decade a pop star or tv figure, the politics of the decade, the rise of the internet, social media, fads, fashion or sports. It is your choice, but once you choose the topic, make sure to narrow your focus.

For example, if you choose sports, focus on one sport or one important figure from the time, don’t try to cover all sports in a short paper.

You must have at least three outside sources. Two must be accessed through the library database. Paper length: 3-4 pages

paper must be typed in 12 point font

1″ margins all around with the following header

You must include in text citations and a properly formatted works cited page according to MLA guidelines. I will not grade your paper if you do not have citations and a Citation page. Guides to citations style are posted on Canvas, the UNCC Writing Center Website and Google. You are welcome to send me a draft for review.

Papers using Wikipedia as a source or with blue links will receive an automatic zero. Conduct research and integrate your research into your own writing.

Uncovering Bias and Missing Narratives

I have included the assignment and instruction below. Please do exactly how the instructions say. I will also upload the article that I have been doing my assignments from.

UNCOVERING BIAS AND MISSING NARRATIVES Discussion 5 -1
Thus far, you have learned how historical contexts, perspectives, and biases influence the interpretation and “telling” of historical narratives. For this discussion, reflect on what you have learned about your research question and the historical event and current event you chose. To ensure an interesting discussion, you are encouraged to think creatively about your initial posts and extend the points made by your peers. It is also important to review the module resources and read the prompts in their entirety before participating in the discussion. You should include examples and other supporting evidence from the module resources in your posts.
Discussing challenges that face our world often means investigating opinions and ideas different from your own. Remember to remain thoughtful and respectful towards your peers and instructor in your discussion post and replies.
Create one initial post and follow up with at least two response posts.
For your initial post, address the following:
Discuss the brainstorming process you used to identify bias in your primary and secondary sources. How did you do it? Describe the strategies that were successful for you. List the primary and secondary sources.
Consider the challenges you encountered identifying the narratives about your historical event. What methods did you use to identify the absent voices in the historical narratives?
What perspectives do you think are missing from the narrative about your historical event?
Be sure to cite evidence from your sources to justify your points.
For your response posts, address the following:
How might you use your peers’ strategies to uncover another absent perspective related to your historical event or expose a historical narrative bias? If you think you cannot apply your peers’ strategies to your own event or narrative, explain why.
Remember, this assignment is graded on the quality of your initial post and at least two response posts to your classmates. If you refer to any module resources, be sure to include an attribution (or citation) for the resource.
Response Post # 1
When I am brainstorming, I feel very chaotic. I tend to end up being all over the place but ultimately I narrow down my sources based on how a reading catches my attention and how it makes me feel. I like to read each source in its entirety and make sure they include all necessary information. I was able to identify bias pretty easily because two of my sources are third person factual based readings whereas the other two are first person interviews that clearly hold bias because they contain personal thoughts, feelings, and opinions.
Absent voices can be felt in these sources because there are only a handful of survivors left from this time therefore we are left with much secondhand information. If we had access to more first person accounts, we would be able to analyze the events at a much more personal level. This also goes hand in hand with the missing perspectives. It is hard to understand what really happened without having various accounts from those that experienced. I have one source that does have a first hand account but many more would help to connect all the various pieces of information. Unfortunately, at over 100 years after the fact, this is next to impossible to achieve.

Response Post # 2
Picking my topic was very easy for me because I have always felt that despite how The Native Americans were treated, forced from their lands and relocated hundreds of miles to places deemed undesirable at the time, people tend to forget or leave them out of the conversation surrounding racial inequality or racial justice. Reading all these stories written during the time of the Wounded Knee Occupation, from several different perspectives, has shown just how divided the country was when it came to equality for the Native Americans. I have a couple sources from the government side of things, written with a definite bias against the Indians and a more forgiving viewpoint on the wrongdoing of the government. On the other hand I have several sources that were at the Occupation, whose first hand viewpoint or personal feeling may have been biased due to The Massacre a Wounded Knee.
I did some research on each source I chose to try and make sure I would be a able to add a viewpoint from each side of the story. I feel I am missing more of the government side of things. As time has passed and the stories are written in a more sympathetic tone in regard to the Indians, the original stance by the authorities has been toned down and made more palatable for todays audience.

Who is the author? What do we know about him/her? Is she/he qualified (expert) to write about the topic?

Instructions:

Part I

Who is the author? What do we know about him/her? Is she/he qualified (expert) to write about the topic?
Identify the author’s thesis. A thesis is a statement capable of proof.
Does the author state WHY the writing is important? Does the writing fulfill a “historical gap?”
Does the author state HOW he/she is going to prove the thesis?
Part II

In this part you will give several examples of how the author substantiates his/her thesis.
What proof does he/she put forward?
Choose examples carefully to show how the author validates the thesis. Be specific here.
Part III

In this part you will determine whether you are persuaded by the author’s argument. Using the examples from Part II, you will determine whether they in fact validate the thesis. Use your TEXTBOOK as guide. Does the author’s claims match or follow in line with the textbook. (This will take you some time to flesh out.)
Part IV

In this part you will evaluate sources and footnotes. Are the footnotes accurate and to the point? What sources has the author consulted? Are both sides of the conflict represented to the same degree, or is the author relying too heavily on only one set of sources?
Part V

Conclusion. Does the author prove his/her point? Would you recommend this book for others to read? Why or why not?
This review needs to be in an essay. You are NOT to simply number the page and answer the questions. If you do this, your grade will be reduced by 50%.
