What are the primary values (“goods”) in your life?
Times New Roman 12pt, double spaced, 1 inch margins all around.
1 1/2 – 2 pages in length.
You will need two direct quotations from Plato’s Apology in this paper. For more information on citations, please see the “Position Paper Guidelines” on our Canvas page.
DESCRIPTION: Your paper should be focused on the issue of values and happiness, which we have been discussing in Plato’s Apology. You should address the following questions
(Note that you are not to write your paper in the form of a Q&A but rather as a fully formed paper with an introduction, main body, and conclusion. These questions are simply here to help you to focus your paper):
1) What are the primary values (“goods”) in your life? What are the things you value most. Why are these the things that you value most?
2) What do you think constitutes human happiness? REMEMBER THAT YOU SHOULD NOT GIVE A PURELY RELATIVIST ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION (e.g. “happiness is totally subjective,” “happiness is whatever you think it is”). Think about what might be essential elements of human happiness for everyone.
3) In what way can Plato’s text help us to think about values and happiness? What are some of the arguments Plato gives for considering certain kinds of values more important than others?

Describe specified elements as they relate to your marketing collateral.
Now that you have completed the primary market research, profiled your customers and competitors, and discussed the features, benefits, and differentiation of your provider’s service, you can roll up your sleeves and get creative by designing a visual treatment that will accompany your campaign.
Preparation
It is often helpful to visualize where your work will lead, and you are anxious to get a feel for what your marketing campaign might look like. Imagine that you are about to wrap up your marketing campaign pitch and want to end your data and content information with a flourish—a visual that embodies and expresses the entire marketing plan. This flourish or visual would be the last slide of your presentation—the icing on the cake of your marketing campaign. You want to create some sizzle and transform the abstract into something the client can see. Remember, you may not be ready for the final marketing deliverable, but your work here could help crystallize your thoughts as you complete your marketing plan.
Keep in mind, the more cleverly you incorporate elements of your current plans and findings into your digital media piece, the more effective your final product will be. Here are a few things to consider as you prepare your visual:
Branding.
A call to action.
Visual interest.
Ways to convert users.
Customers, competition, and value proposition.
Examples:
A Facebook Marketplace listing.
An Instagram image.
A YouTube video.
A GIF for an advertisement.
A Facebook company homepage mock-up.
Instructions
Create a piece of marketing collateral in the medium of your choice that is appropriate for the customer, the service, and the campaign you are formulating. Include a caption or notes that describe how the work will be depicted. Include:
Who is the target market or customer?
Where will this visual be displayed?
How will the customer get to it or access the marketing collateral?
Where will this visual lead to if acted upon (i.e. if clicked on or interacted with in some way).
The ultimate purpose or goal.
Be creative and have fun!
Your work will be graded by the following criteria:
Design a piece of marketing collateral that effectively reflects and supports marketing planning.
Describe specified elements as they relate to your marketing collateral.
What you provided in the outline is the only items that you should have used.
This request is to make changes/updates to the paper attached based on feedback from the instructor. I have also included the navy writing style guide PDF which includes information on 3PC.
-Requesting an additional 275 word minimum be added.
-if new sources are added, please use websites.
-Specific notes for changes/updates are as follows:
3PC (Intro/Transitions/Conclusion): This is roughly 20-25 points out of the 100, so it’s really important you get these things right. I not sure what you did with the Intro, but you went rogue on me. What you provided in the outline is the only items that you should have used. The AG shall only be 1-2 sentences, followed by the Motivation sentence, and finally the Overview sentence. You Overview sentence was missing MP3 in it. The Conclusion has an issue with the Re-Motivation sentence. Go back and look at what you provided for the outline on your last attempt.
Reference Page: You have a solid reference page going and just need to get the references listed in alphabetical order.
MP1 (Background): You have good information but I’m going to need some credible sources to back up the information you are saying.
MP2 (Evolution): This MP really starts off great and has supporting in-text citations to help. The last little bite of the MP does need a source.
MP3 (Importance): I would like to see this MP beefed up a little more as well. It’s really short and the Importance/Heritage piece is what we are really looking for with this essay.
You have a really solid starting point with these draft. The 3PC is a huge part of the essay and those items will need to be corrected to see where the essay actually stands on a grading scale and word count. You are definitely going to have to provided or input some more in-text citations with MP1 and MP2 and you are going to have to beef up MP3. Doing these things will ensure you are within the word count and meeting the objectives of the PE.
Please ensure that on the “Review” tab that you have “All Markup” enabled so you can see full comments and recommended changes. The recommended changes will show in BLUE text.
What is it that you consider to be your “Distinct Competitive Advantage?”
ONLY DOING PART A ONLY!!! I Don’t have a company or product idea….
PART A – COVER PAGE (Cover Page with company name, product name, group members AND group letter, date, class and section and PART A)
Make sure your report contains a cover page with the names of the members of the group, class and section, group name or product name and date.
Company and Product or Service Descriiption:
Please describe what your company and your product or service will be. The product or service should be new and realistic. Create a SINGLE product or service. Keep it simple! Tell me if it is a consumer product/service or a business product/service. Make sure you know the distinction between the two because the marketing plan will be different for a business product than for a consumer product. Need ideas? Check Kickstarter.com
Organization Mission:
The mission statement is a motivational, guiding vision that defines the business in terms of customer needs fulfilled. For example, Exxon doesn’t sell “gasoline,” they provide “fuel transportation” and Kodak doesn’t sell “film,” they “preserve memories.” The mission statement should also explain how the company is different from all other companies in the same industry. What is it that you consider to be your “Distinct Competitive Advantage?” Why would people buy your product rather than your competition? Your mission should be no more than a couple of paragraphs. Remember that this is a company wide statement so you should not have a reference to the product in your mission statement. Think company wide, not product specific.
Please note that slogans, such as “Just Do It” or “I’m Lovin’ It” or similar phrases are NOT mission statements.
Organization Objectives:
Overall organizational objectives detail what is to be accomplished over a given time period, usually in terms of profits, market share, growth or diversity. Objectives should BE SMART: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Time constrained: 1) what is to be measured, 2) a concrete measure, and 3) the time period. For example, “To expand operations to Mexico over the next fiscal year” or “to attain a profit margin of 20 percent within two years” are examples of objectives. These are objectives for the whole firm and are not strictly related to marketing. They may include the size of the company, number of products, ROI, contribution to society, etc. Again, this is company wide, NOT product specific. If your organizational objectives mention or are focused on your product, then they are INCORRECT. Your objectives should filter down from your mission. If in your mission you state that your company will be socially responsible and environmentally friendly, then your organizational objectives should focus on those two areas at least.
