Objective: Recognize whether your current eating and drinking habits address your total energy and macronutrient needs via analysis of a three day diet diary. Your completed assignment will include: an analysis of your three days of food consumption and three tables listing all of the food and beverages you consumed on each day.
Description: You will examine three days of your eating and drinking. You will record everything you eat and drink and identify the caloric value for each food and drink item you consumed for all days excluding non-caloric beverages like water, unsweetened coffee or tea, or artificially sweetened beverages with zero calories, etc. Additionally, you will list the grams of carbohydrates, fats, proteins and fiber for each of the food items as well as list the number of servings of vegetables and fruits you consumed on each day. You will record all of your information into three daily tables. You must select days in which you consumed food. It is not acceptable to submit a diary that indicates you did not eat or drink or you ate or drank very little because of extenuating circumstances, e.g. too busy, ill, etc.
You will also identify your Body Mass Index (BMI) using one of the many Body Mass Index calculators on the Internet or in Chapter 12 of your textbook.
After recording all of the food and beverages you consumed and after you have identified the macronutrient values in grams of all foods you listed, you will assess whether your current diet is adequate, excessive or deficient in meeting your total energy and macronutrient needs. You will need to visit: Calorie Calculator (Links to an external site.) web site to determine your approximate caloric need. You will compare your caloric intake for the three days comparing it to the total energy need you identified after visiting the Calorie Calculator web site.
Analysis will include evaluation of the diet diary items listed and whether the food and beverages consumed would meet dietary guidelines as outlined in the textbook. Your analysis must include a determination of whether you have met, exceeded or whether you were deficient in energy intake, macronutrient intake (carbohydrates, fat, protein and fiber) and if your diet met a minimum of five servings of vegetables and fruits for each of the days. Additionally, you must assess whether the food you consumed was high in nutrient density, energy density or both.
You will be submitting this assignment as an attachment within the Assignments area on Canvas. The document you submit must combine all of the contents for this assignment into one .doc, .docx, or .rtf document. DO NOT send multiple documents and/or file types other than .doc, .docx, .pdf or .rtf file types.
You MUST tranfer any data from any calorie counting software/apps to a table within the same word processed document you submit for this assignment. Sorry– no exceptions!
The assignment you submit should include an analysis of your findings from the three day diary you recorded.
The analysis should include the following paragraphs:
First Paragraph: Identification of your current energy need and your BMI. You should identify whether you agree or disagree with your energy need and why you agree or disagree. You should also identify whether your BMI falls within normal ranges or whether you are underweight, overweight or obese.
Second Paragraph: Explain your current dietary practices and whether your current practices address your energy, macronutrient and vegetable and fruit needs. Be sure you identify your fiber intake as well.
Third Paragraph: Describe how you plan to address any excesses or deficiencies in your energy, macronutrient, vegetable, fruit and fiber intake. You need to be specific!
If your current dietary practices perfectly address your needs in these areas, please explain how you achieve this goal.
If you are underweight or overweight you should identify how you plan to increase or decrease your energy intake to get your BMI within the healthy range.
Fourth Paragraph: Explain any health consequences that may be of a concern if you continue your current dietary practices. Additionally, describe how the changes you propose will not only alleviate your concerns, but also describe how they will provide potential health benefits.
Fifth paragraph: This is your conclusion. Briefly summarize the major points from the previous three paragraphs and evaluate the worth of going through the process of recording a diet diary for three days.
Two Day Diet Analysis Assignment – EXAMPLE
(Double Space Please)
Mike Diet
HRC 100 – CRN 11121
Date: 09/18/2021
My calorie consumption is excessive for a male of my age and activity level. Based upon the Calorie Calculator web
site I need 2500 calories per day to maintain my weight. I am obese according to the BMI Calculator: 32.6. I know I
am overweight, but the term obese hurts! I would not consider myself obese. As far as energy intake needs I am not
quite sure how much energy I need to consume to maintain a healthy body weight because it has been a long time
since I have been at a healthy weight.
Based upon my food consumption, I would say that I am extremely excessive in my calorie intake. I nearly tripled
what I would need in a typical day. Over the course of the three days my carbohydrate, fat and protein intake were
way too high. I probably eat out a couple of times every week and that really kicked me well over the edge. My fat
intake is incredibly high. I think I could have really improved my protein choices on this day. Percentage-wise I was
much closer to meeting my goal as far as my protein intake goes. I also love fruits and vegetables, but I rarely
consume them. I was close to meeting my fiber needs. I’m not sure how as I ate very few servings of vegetables and
no fruit servings. Sometimes I have very little time and am in a rush (like so many people) and I just go out and buy
what tastes good.
I definitely need to make some significant changes. I need to drastically cut down on my total energy intake. This
could best be achieved by eating three much smaller meals each day with a small mid-afternoon snack. I need to
add whole grains to my breakfast. I can do this by eating oatmeal and/or some whole grain toast. I could also start
my day off with a piece of fresh fruit. I can add a salad to my lunch and perhaps some lettuce to a lean protein
sandwich like tuna or turkey. I could consume another piece of fruit with this meal. For my afternoon snack I could
choose a green smoothie with spinach, water, a banana and some blueberries. For dinner I can choose some whole
grain pasta with some fresh, sautéed vegetables. My dessert could be a small Greek yogurt with some honey and
fresh fruit topped with some chopped almonds.
I must make these changes soon as high fat diets lead to cardiovascular disease and my uncle who was only 53
recently had triple heart bypass surgery. My father is a type 2 diabetic and my mother is obese. The proposed
changes may allow me to decrease my BMI and lower my risks for cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes.
Additionally, by eating an energy sufficient and nutrient dense diet I may start to have more energy and begin an
exercise program.
This assignment really helped me identify why I have become obese. The changes I proposed should allow me to
get achieve a healthy body weight and decrease the risks associated with being obese.

Lab
These reports are to be typed and should
be in Times New Roman 12pt font.
Abstract
A one paragraph summery of the lab that includes:
a hypothesis, the important data, any and all significant findings, as well as why
the lab is important. It is easiest to write this last as it uses information
from all your other sections.
~ ½ page
Introduction
The purpose of this experiment and why it
is important should be defined. A hypothesis must be stated in this section. Any
background information which could be useful for the experiment, such as the
theory of the methods used in the experiment, should be included.
~1-1½ pages
Methods
In paragraph format, explain what you
did for the experiment. This should be detailed enough that someone else can
run the experiment exactly as you did and should list all equipment and
chemicals used.
~ ½ + pages
Results
This section will contain all data in the
format of tables and figures (illustrations, charts, graphs, etc.). Within this
section data will be interpreted but no conclusions or implications will be
made. General trends should be mentioned but not concluded (i.e. “The
datapoints shown in Table 2 have 20% increases between them until the fifth
addition of the reagent.” not “The addition of the reagent causes a 20%
increase until the reagent exceeds the amount of sample in the solution.”). Data must be in a table or figure, but the
same data should not be shown in more than one type of figure. Both tables and
figures must be titled and captioned in ACS format, as detailed in Chapters 15
and 16 of The ACS Style Guide. Tables and figures must be referred to by
their title in any text that addresses them (i.e. “As you can see in Figure
2…”).
Note: Captions for tables go above the
table and captions for figures go below the figures. Table and figures are
titled by the classification (table/figure) and the numerical order in which
they appear in the report, staring with Table 1 and Figure 1.
~ ½ + pages
Conclusion
This section will draw conclusions from
the data discussed in the results section and will discuss the trends observed
in greater detail. The focus should not be on stating what the data is but
rather what the data means about the experiment and why it supports or
disproves the hypothesis stated in the abstract and introduction sections. Any
errors in the experiment should be identified in this section and need to be
clarified so that it can be understood if this creates doubt in your results.
Suggestions for improving personal skill with techniques or the experiment
design must be included in this section.

Global supply Chain and aircraft manufacturing during covid
I would like to focus my paper on how the global supply chain has affected aircraft manufacturing and with the covid-19 pandemic hopefully declining in severity, the future increase in travel after two years of off and on lockdown will cause a large increase in travel while exasperating the supply issues for aircraft manufactures.
Instructions-
In this course, you will study production management. As part of the course, you will analyze an aviation or aerospace industrial management issue related to production/operations management, write a research paper, and create a presentation.
Considering the 10 OM decisions, your paper will be a review of issues that were caused by a failure in the production/operations management process. You will compare and contrast the current research findings with the principles and concepts presented in your Heizer, et al. textbook.
All reference sources should be from academic journals, professional trade publications, and respected business or industry magazines. Limit the use of books as sources. Do NOT use articles or sources from Wikipedia! Use references published within the past six years.
The basic rules for your research paper include:
Follow the current Writing Style Guide for manuscripts closely.
The paper should be 10 pages at a minimum.
Use one-inch margins on all sides.
Left justify all narrative.
Use Times New Roman font, 12-point.
Indent the first line of each paragraph one-half inch.
Double-space everything in the paper. Do not add extra lines or spacing between paragraphs or sections of the paper.
Analysis- Repeated topics
Over this unit, we the novel, The Castle of Otranto by Horace Walpole. We’ve talked about how we analyze these texts through three different reading strategies as well as the foundational tropes of the Gothic genre. Therefore, for this paper, we are going to pick one repeated idea (dreams, supernatural elements, “tyrant” or one of your own choice) to analyze the novel.
How:
1) Brainstorm — review your notes from class, and your reactions to the novel, then provide an argument for the significance of your chosen repeated element. Develop a concise thesis (no there is/there are sentences) statement to communicate your ideas.
2) Then, WRITE — a ONE PAGE essay by analyzing how this repeated idea impacts, functions, complicates, challenges or structures the novel.
a. Questions to consider (these are just to help your thinking, DO NOT try and address all of these):
i. How does the repeated supernatural elements of weather emphasize Manfred’s poor decisions? How does the repeated idea of dreams foreshadow Theodore’s true identity? Does the repeated idea of prophecies and apparitions mean that Manfred is doomed?
b. Make sure to use appropriate MLA citation and formatting and heading.
i. 12 point font, double spaced, Times New Roman Font, 1 inch margins
c. Use specific textual evidence from the readings.
d. Look at the rubric posted on Blackboard and on this sheet.
e. Follow the outline posted on Blackboard and referenced in class.
Thesis statement answers the question completely and clearly. Introduction presents clear and complete summary of evidence to be used in support of thesis statement.
Organization of the introduction is logical.
Conclusion extends the argument and explains its significance.
Evidence in support of thesis is accurate, specific, relevant, and sufficient. Essay clearly and effectively explains how particular examples support thesis statement.
The essay is well- organized. The purpose of each paragraph is clear, with strong topic sentences linked to the thesis. The content of each paragraph is consistent and appropriate. The paragraphs are logically sequenced.
Language is clear and powerful, there are no significant errors of spelling, grammar, or usage. The essay may show a distinctive and elegant writing style.
william shakespear‘king lear
Overview: Academic writing values the ability to read complex texts with an eye for their
nuances and to express such complexity in lucid prose. To this end, we will spend much of our
class time this term practicing such close reading on the meaning-rich texts that literary works
provide. Writing-focused university classes commonly require the writing of interpretive essays
as a means to measure students’ ability to engage in such critical reading and to communicate its
results clearly. Here, you are asked to demonstrate such proficiency in response to the first text
we will read together, William Shakespeare’s King Lear.
Purpose: The task of this paper is to demonstrate your abilities as an attentive reader capable of:
1) understanding and responding to a prompt; 2) reading a complex literary text with care; 3)
fashioning a clear interpretive claim, or thesis, about that text; and 4) defending that claim by
way of logical argument and the effective use of textual evidence. You are to respond to one of
the following prompts, each of which identifies a complexity or contradiction in King Lear that
you are asked to resolve. Each poses a question. You are to present a clear answer (your thesis)
to that question and organize your paper around explaining the contradiction and supporting your
resolution of it, using the text itself to back up your claims.
Write a short, four-page ( double-spaced) essay on one of the following topics. Your
paper must include a list of References; both this and your quoting of texts must conform to APA
guidelines. Spelling and grammar always count, so proofread your work.
Include a discussion on what makes you passionate about the Construction Industry, what you expect to learn as you enter the workforce, and how you plan to push the limits of what’s possible. Include in your statement any hardships or challenges you have or will need to overcome.
