Discuss how to facilitate the change and create buy-in from the health care professionals.

Assignment 2: Road Map for Planned Change Paper (24 points)
Students will develop a scholarly paper addressing a problem, issue, or situation needing change within the practice setting. The paper will address how the advanced practice nurse can facilitate and develop a road map for change.
Assignment Criteria:
1. Identify a problem, issue, or situation needing change within the practice or organizational setting. Include background information.

My chosen problem and topic is the high national nurse turnover rate in most recent years I want you to Elaborate on the myriad of causes of this

2. Select and discuss a change model that can be applied to the selected problem, issue, or situation.
a. Discuss how to facilitate the change and create buy-in from the health care professionals
b. Discuss possible resistance to the change that would need to be overcome
3. Articulate a plan for making the change using a change road map for the team (the starting point, steps to take for making the change, and successful completion). This is a narrative, not a diagram.
4. Explain the importance of effective communication and the role it plays in influencing decisions during the change.
5. The scholarly paper should be in narrative format and 4 to 5 pages excluding the title and reference page.
6. Include an introductory paragraph, purpose statement, and a conclusion.
7. Include level 1 and 2 headings to organize the paper.
8. Write the paper in third person, not first person (meaning do not use ‘we’ or ‘I’) and in a scholarly manner. To clarify I, we, you, me, our may not be used. In addition, describing yourself as the researcher or the author should not be used.
9. Include three professional peer-reviewed scholarly journal references to support the paper (review in Ulrich Periodical Directory) and be less than five (5) years old.

Write a recommendation to effectively train employees to over come the challenges of transitioning from Traditional Project Management to Agile.

Write a recommendation to effectively train employees to over come the challenges of transitioning from Traditional Project Management to Agile.
Challenges: Employee Mindet – Use to doing things a certain way and adjusted to the current methodology, Customs and culture, lack of knowledge.

Abstract
Agile project
management is an approach that uses an agile model for discovering requirements
and developing the solution collaboratively with users. Compared to the
traditional waterfall model, agile offers significant benefits to organizations
by reducing the time spent on planning and more on development and feedback.
While the change from the traditional to agile model is beneficial for the
organization, the change does not come without challenges. The major challenge
organizations must overcome is to change the mindset of employees. Employees
are often resistant to change and organizations must overcome this challenge to
change employees’ perspectives and manage the changes taking place. To overcome
this challenge, organizations need to implement proper training on Agile
Technology. This paper will propose how organizations can implement adequate
training models to overcome this challenge and implement Mendix as a tool to
track training progression.

Discuss this statement by Paul Hawken: ” Good management is the art of making problems so interesting and their solutions so constructive that everyone wants to get to work and deal with them.”

Following the completion of working through the lessons materials, complete eachof the following:

Write a one-two sentence personal definition of organizational management. Base your definition on what you have encountered this week, as well as on what you have already learned about the topic.
Discuss this statement by Paul Hawken: ” Good management is the art of making problems so interesting and their solutions so constructive that everyone wants to get to work and deal with them.”
Finally, write about the differences between leadership and management.

Explain Locke’s view that we can have knowledge of an external world despite our being directly aware only of sense data.

Be sure to explain your answers and give reasons for your views. You should cite the textbook and use brief quotations and summaries from the textbook in your response. Do NOT use any other sources besides the textbook.

Chapter 6.1-6.2
According to Plato, are the ideas of Beauty and Courage objectively real, or are they notions that we invent in our minds whenever we want to? Do you think these ideas are objectively real? Provide an argument to back up your answer.

Chapter 6.3-6.5
Explain Locke’s view that we can have knowledge of an external world despite our being directly aware only of sense data. Do you agree with him, or do you side with his critics who say that we can know only the contents of our minds?

Chapter 7
Do you agree with the expression theory of art? Is art simply an expression of feelings? Is abstract art an expression of feelings?

Chapter 8.1 – 8.3
Explain Plato’s Utopian vision for a just society. In your view, what would be some of the beneficial or harmful effects of a society based solely on merit, as Plato proposed?

Chapter 8.4- 8.5
Explain Rawls’ “original position” and “veil of ignorance.” What principles of justice does he claim would emerge from such a thought experiment?

Explain how we are going to feed and clothe the rapidly rising human population worldwide?

Explain how we are going to feed and clothe the rapidly rising human
population worldwide? How are we going to stop famine and crop loss?
These are some very important questions biologists are working on as the
world changes and problems arise. One possible solution could be the
increased use of technology to improve food crops. These crops often
have foreign DNA inserted into them that produces a protein product,
such as herbicide resistance, to protect the plant or increase yield.
They are termed GMO’s (Genetically Modified Organisms) and they are
hotly debated in both science and the public sphere. In this discussion
you will demonstrate an understanding of GMOs and reflect on the pros
and cons of their development and use.
Task
This week’s discussion involves 1 part. In this discussion, pick a
side, PRO or CON, and argue your case that GMO’s are either going to
save the world or destroy it. You may very well find that this issue is
not as black and white as it is made out to be! Please remember to add a
question to engage your classmates in the discussion.
NOTE: In order to create discussion “threads” or a continual
discussion among groups of students, be sure to add a question at the
end of each post. Please remember reply to at least 2 peers.
Grading Criteria
Your understanding of genetically modified organisms and your
thoughts about their pros and cons regarding their use and development.
Your peer responses are substantive and thoughtful and advance the
discussion by introducing new insights or perspectives, and/or
significantly deepening or broadening the conversation with questions.
Your use of language: your writing should be clear, well-organized, and free from spelling and grammar errors.

What might the consequences be of having this information (e.g. health insurance coverage, privacy, etc.)?

Purpose
The world can be a scary place. There are many disease causing
organisms and genetic disorders that can make life difficult. As you
read the chapter, be thinking about your family history of genetic
disorders, how these disorders are passed on through generations, and
what types of testing can be done to look for these alleles. In this
exercise you will reflect on the pros and cons of genetic testing and
how it may affect you.
Task
This week’s discussion involves one part but you can choose from
three options. Be sure to respond completely to the option you choose
and argue your viewpoint in your post. Please remember to add a question
to engage your classmates in the discussion.
Option 1: Would you want to have your genes tested to know if you are at risk for a disorder? Why or why not?

Option 2: Would you want your future children to be tested? Why or why not?

Option 3: What might the consequences be of having this information (e.g. health insurance coverage, privacy, etc.)?
NOTE: In order to create discussion “threads” or a continual
discussion among groups of students, be sure to add a question at the
end of each post. Please remember reply to at least 2 peers.
Grading Criteria
Your understanding of the role of genetic testing and how decisions
about genetic testing may affect both parents and their offspring.
Your peer responses are substantive and thoughtful and advance the
discussion by introducing new insights or perspectives, and/or
significantly deepening or broadening the conversation with questions.
Your use of language: your writing should be clear, well-organized, and free from spelling and grammar errors.

Explain how you would children look if humans would reproduce through mitosis instead of using meiosis?

Purpose
Now that you’ve learned about mitotic and meiotic cell division, you
understand that the process of mitosis results in cells that are
identical to the parent cell whereas in meiosis, the daughter cells that
are produced are genetically different from the parent cell. Meiosis
introduces variation into populations of sexually reproducing organisms
while mitosis produces cells for growth and cell specialization. In this
post you will demonstrate understanding of how meiosis contributes to
genetic variability and why this variability is important.
Task
This week’s discussion involves 1 part. Be sure to respond completely to the prompt in your post.
Explain how you would children look if humans would reproduce through mitosis
instead of using meiosis? Would there be any pitfalls in a population of
humans if mitosis were the primary method for reproduction? Please
remember to add a question to engage your classmates in the discussion.
NOTE: In order to create discussion “threads” or a continual
discussion among groups of students, be sure to add a question at the
end of each post. Please remember reply to at least 2 peers.
Grading Criteria
Your understanding of the role of meiosis in creating genetic variation during sexual reproduction.
Your peer responses are substantive and thoughtful and advance the
discussion by introducing new insights or perspectives, and/or
significantly deepening or broadening the conversation with questions.
Your use of language: your writing should be clear, well-organized, and free from spelling and grammar errors.

Explain how differentiation help explain these different cell types?

Purpose
Virtually every multicellular organism, including you, goes from a
single-celled fertilized egg to a large, multicellular organism. In this
post you will demonstrate an understanding of how the process of
mitosis leads to the growth of an organism and how cell differentiation
results in the wide variety of specialized cells found in a
multicellular organism.
Task
This week’s discussion involves 2 parts. Be sure to respond completely to both prompts in your post.
How does mitosis explain the process of growth? Can growth occur only through mitosis?

If every cell in your body is a copy of that original fertilized
egg, how is it that some cells are so different than other cells? How
does differentiation help explain these different cell types? Cite some
specific examples of differentiated (specialized) cells. Please remember
to add a question to engage your classmates in the discussion.
NOTE: In order to create discussion “threads” or a continual
discussion among groups of students, be sure to add a question at the
end of each post. Please remember to reply to at least 2 peers.
Grading Criteria
Your understanding of the role of mitosis in organismal growth.
Your explanation of how cell differentiation creates specialized
cells in a multicellular organism (including examples of specialized
cells).
Your peer responses are substantive and thoughtful and advance the
discussion by introducing new insights or perspectives, and/or
significantly deepening or broadening the conversation with questions.
Your use of language: your writing should be clear, well-organized, and free from spelling and grammar errors.

What would happen if all the plants died?

Purpose
What would happen if all the plants died? Few people care about the
impact of vegetation other than for consumption. In this post, you will
demonstrate an understanding of the impact of photosynthesizing plants
on everyday life.
Task
This week’s discussion involves one part. Be sure to completely respond to the prompt in your post.
Discuss the impact photosynthesizing plants have on our lives.
NOTE: In order to create discussion “threads” or a continual
discussion among groups of students, be sure to add a question at the
end of each post. And don’t forget to reply to at least 2 peers.
Grading Criteria
Your understanding of photosynthesis, as demonstrated by your short explanation.
Your explanation of how photosynthesizing plants have an impact on daily life.
Your peer responses are substantive and thoughtful and advance the
discussion by introducing new insights or perspectives, and/or
significantly deepening or broadening the conversation with questions.
Your use of language: your writing should be clear, well-organized, and free from spelling and grammar errors.
