Describe at least two primary and two secondary sources that you could use to research your historical event.

I have four module assignments that need to be completed.

Module One I need an historical event and why the event is signiifcant. I also need a research question related to the historial even selected. I also need to describe at least two secondary sources that could be used to research the historial event chosen from module one. Develop a research question related to the historical event selected.

Module Two: Describe at least two primary and two secondary sources that you could use to research your historical event.
Based on your review of primary and secondary sources, develop a research question related to the historical event you selected.
Create a thesis statement based on your research question.
Identify an audience that would be interested in your historical event and research question.
Describe how and why you can tailor your message to your audience, providing specific examples.

Module Three: (1-2 pages) Combine work from modules 1 -3 and address the following course outcomes.
Describe the historical event that you selected. Why is this event significant?
Describe at least two primary and two secondary sources that you could use to research your historical event.
Based on your review of primary and secondary sources, develop a research question related to the historical event you selected. In other words, what would you like to know more about?
Identify an audience that would be interested in your historical event and research question. For example, who would benefit most from hearing your message?
Describe how and why you can tailor your message to your audience, providing specific examples. For example, will your audience understand historical terminology and principles associated with your event, or will you need to explain these? How will you communicate effectively with your audience?

basic communication

After completing this assignment, you will be able to:
Identify theoretical concepts in communication
Identify your own communication and conflict practices and strategies
Analyze your own communication and conflict practices and strategies
Reflect on your own communication and conflict practices and strategies and how they might be different from others
The most effective communication occurs when both parties recognize, and protect the needs, interests, and concerns of each other. Before beginning this three-part assignment, download the scoresheets and instructions. Here it is again, incase the link doesn’t work for you: Basic Communication Rights Assignment-1 (2).pdf
Actions

Part I
Think about specific individuals with whom you interact regularly — a family member, close friend, coworker, and person who is significantly important to you.
Consider whether your communication rights are being respected by each individual.
On the scoresheet, respond to each statement and score each one between 1-5.
1 = not at all and 5= yes, absolutely!
Part II
Using the same individuals as you did in Part I, consider whether their communication rights are being respected by you.
On the scoresheet, respond to each statement and score each one between 1-5.
1 = not at all and 5= yes, absolutely!
Part III
With each of these rights come responsibility. The most effective communication occurs when both parties recognize, and protect the needs, interests, and concerns of each other.
As you answer each question below (1-2 paragraphs each), your response should include an answer to the question, and reasons for your answer:
Communication Basic Rights may be a new concept for you to consider. Which of the “rights” surprised you in some way?
As you look at your scores for each person, you’ll find that the lower the score, the more likely you feel your communication rights are not respected (Part I). Or, that you’re not respecting the rights of the other person (Part II). What surprised you the most about your scores?
What (if anything) will you do different when interacting with each individual?

History of Math

An outline that states your
thesis and presents your step-by-step plan for defending it. Help with
writing an outline.
OR a rough draft of the paper
that you plan to submit. It doesn’t have to be the finished product
but should include a statement of the thesis and the main elements of your
defense. Help on rough drafts.
In either case, please
include the sources.

Your paper will be
evaluated on the following characteristics:
1.
Clear statement of a
thesis.
2.
Use of critical
thinking – i.e. do you look at ideas and events analytically &
critically instead of just reporting what you read?
3.
Accuracy of factual
content.
4.
Understanding of
mathematical ideas that are discussed
5.
Defense of the thesis
with evidence, placing mathematics in historical and cultural context: that is,
events, beliefs and values that influenced the ideas/people in your research.
6.
High quality sources,
appropriately cited in text notes and the source list.
7.
Clear, correct writing
and organization. Grammar, punctuation, and spelling do count.

Why were the Foundering Fathers so concerned about the amount of power vested in the President? It was the most debated part of the Constitutional Convention in 1787. Will love to hear your comments.

UNIT 5- Executive Branch
Questions:
1) Why were the Foundering Fathers so concerned about the amount of power vested in the President? It was the most debated part of the Constitutional Convention in 1787. Will love to hear your comments.

2) Why were the foundering fathers also concerned about how to elect the President? Please note we don’t have a direct democracy, but an Electoral College. Therefore the political power is not necessarily granted to the masses. Will love to hear your comments.

3) Can the Presidency survive with the lack of power vested in the President? Note the number of roles he has, but ultimately he has to go to Congress for approval. Will love to hear your comments.
4) Should the President have more Power or is placing power in one person another form of Dictatorship? Will love to hear your comments.

5) FYI, Electoral College, I think that the Electoral College is outdated, it’s not a true democracy, look at the 2000, and 2016 elections, Al Gore and Hillary got the most votes yet they were not elected the president, hence it’s one of the reasons why many folks don’t believe in the system. It should be one person, one vote like most countries. Please note that Barack Obama in 2012 campaigned in only 10 states, that is all he needs to get re-elected, what happened to the rest of the country?

Interactive Case Study Journal

After you view the case study, reflect upon what you have learned and how it is related to the learning materials. Compare the case study to your nursing practice and give a similar example from your experience in which you might have run into staffing issues.

Basic Ingredients; Relationships; Purpose and Goals; Roles

Unit 1:
Basic Ingredients; Relationships; Purpose and Goals; Roles
In this Unit, we cover a variety of basic topics. As with
any good program, we begin by considering the anticipated outcome. That is, it
is important to know our purposes, goals, an understanding of relationships,
and our roles in order to develop a map for supervision.
This unit addresses topic areas 2, 3, and 8 of the
Philosophy of Supervision Paper (Top Areas are located in the uploaded files below)
Assignments for Unit 1:
Required Reading
Lee & Nelson, Chapters
1 & 2
AS Designation: Standards
Handbook
AAMFT Code of Ethics
Other reading: read
at least one of the articles from the resource list that has an asterisk and at
least one other, although you may want to read more than that in preparation
for your Unit papers and your Philosophy of Supervision paper. Your interactive
instructor may ask for very brief reports on articles.
Required assignments:
Find the Philosophy of Supervision Paper Guide – this is the paper that will give you instructions and suggestions
for writing your Philosophy of Supervision paper. Read carefully to get a sense
of the whole course and the requirements for the paper. You have now started
your Philosophy of Supervision Paper!
We suggest you use this document throughout your Unit work
and during your interactive sessions, taking notes for each area.
Write
a one-page, single-apaced paper: on the topic below (a), (*match
areas of the Philosophy of Supervision paper):
a.
*Purpose and Goals for Supervision. Purpose:
The reason for doing something. Goals: What is expected to be
accomplished. An example purpose for supervision is enhancing and
overseeing the clinical work of the trainee. Goals should include both
short-term and long-term accomplishments. A short-term goal might be related to
meeting clients on time and conducting appropriate initial interviews. A longer-term
goal might be improvement in scores in an evaluation that demonstrate clinical
competence. Include a process you might use to help the trainee accomplish the
goal. A process example might be reviewing interventions through discussion or video
recording, practice in role play, and comments after live supervision sessions.
This paper is about the reason
for supervising trainees, what we expect them to accomplish
during their time supervision, and how you will help them reach their
goals.
Think about the following
questions in your response: What do you see is the overall purpose of
supervision for trainees? That is, why do we supervise new therapists (e.g., to
ensure client care, assist trainees in professional growth)? What measurable or
observable goals do you have for trainees in supervision during your time with
them and by the time they are finished? How will you help them reach those
goals? What will tell you that a trainee has succeeded in supervision? Purposes
and goals for yourself are helpful but this area’s focus is the trainee.
Most people make this area much harder and laborious than it needs to be. It
does not need to include roles or relationships – just the purpose (reason for)
supervision, appropriate goals, and your process for helping them reach the
goals. It actually can be one or two short paragraphs!
Supervision is defined as
an intervention provided by a
more senior member of a profession to a more junior member or members of that
same profession. The relationship is evaluative and hierarchical, extends over
time, and has the simultaneous purposes of enhancing the professional
functioning of the more junior person(s), monitoring the quality of
professional services offered to the clients that she, he, or they see, and
serving as a gatekeeper for those who are to enter the particular profession.
(emphasis added, Bernard & Goodyear, 2009, p. 7)
To reiterate, the purpose of
supervision is to
1.
Enhance the professional functioning of
the trainee
2.
Monitor quality of services to clients
3.
Serve as a gatekeeper to the field
4.
?
You may think of additional
purposes. Goals for supervision tend to flow from designated purposes.
Another example:
One purpose of supervision is
to become aware of one’s self and potential blind spots that might negatively
affect supervision. A goal related to this purpose is ability to evaluate
oneself in therapy and take corrective action when recognizing blind spots. I
will do this by using cultural genograms, helping trainees through discussion
and exercises to recognize their social locations and how those might be
different from their clients’, and discussing ways to be sensitive to those
differences.
(Area 2 of the Philosophy of
Supervision Paper)
All papers must include at least two scholarly
citations/references, at least one other than Lee & Nelson (located in uploaded files below).

Supporting Health Promotion with Social Support Interventions and Spirituality in Health Care

Topic 1:
Share an example when the social-support system of a client made a large effect on the health-promotion behavior of the client.
Describe the effect of social-support systems in health-promotion interventions and the relationship those social systems have on health-behavior changes in clients.
Explain two methods to assist clients in identifying social-support systems.
Topic 2:
Examine the role of spirituality in health care, from the perspective of both patients and health care providers.
What impact do you see spirituality having on health care decisions and how does it potentially act as an impediment or benefit to the provision of nursing care, as you understand it?
Each topic should be 2-3 paragraphs long
