3. (2 pt.) Describe what you would do as a coach in this scenario: A track & field athlete who competes in the 100m hurdles comes into the gym with a limp. They have been evaluated by the athletic trainer and have been cleared to exercise. They are run through an FMS and you notice a significant difference between the left and right lunge scores and hurdle step scores. Their left leg is scoring lower than their right. Prior to this, their scores had been equivalent to one another.
As a coach, describe in detail what you would do for today’s training day with this athlete. Create a chart of the exercises you would incorporate in the days training (it’s a full body training day and the programming should reflect that) minimum of 7 exercises.

Then, list one corrective exercise that specifically pertains to the weakness that you listed under a. Be very specific and descriptive in your answer and use proper anatomical terminology. An example is provided for you.
• Deep Squat:
• Correction: As client X moved through his range of motion in the squat, his heels gradually came off the ground, causing his squat to become toe-heavy. This could be due to poor ankle mobility or limited mobility in the gastrocnemius and soleus.
