NJ.com, R. C. | N. A. M. for. (2022, January 21). High school student helping grandmother with groceries killed in crossfire in Paterson. Nj. https://www.nj.com/passaic-county/2022/01/high-school-student-helping-grandmother-with-groceries-killed-in-crossfire-in-paterson.html
In this article, there are some incidences where innocent people lose their lives for no reason. In the first place, Cuadra loses his life in an incident where two gangsters try to shoot each other. By mistake, while Cuadra is trying to offload a vehicle, he is hit on his head once, where he is taken to the medical center and confirmed to have passed away. It was not his fault for losing his life, but his lack of insecurity led to this. Another older woman is also shot during the night and forfeits her life.
To have these issues solved, there is a need to have security ensured in these areas. This is because when there is security, people will be in fear of using firearms, reducing these cases of innocent people’s death. Therefore, the government needs to deploy police in these areas so that people involved in such cases may be jailed and taken to court for the judgment and threatened to avoid such crimes.
Family Bids Final Farewell to Paterson Girl Murdered While Playing With Friends. (2014, July 12). https://newyork.cbslocal.com/2014/07/12/nj-family-says-final-goodbye-to-paterson-girl-shot-while-
This article also involves killing an innocent girl who goes by the name Genesis Rincon. She was struck by a bullet while playing with his friend, where he died after being shot, and the burial ceremony was to be on the mentioned Saturday as planned. This death left many people morning because the girl was innocent. Her father says how the girl was and what they felt because she had left.
In this case, the suspects were arrested, who are three in number. This is a way of ensuring that these people who are being engaged in doing these crimes are being punished, and this acts as a warning which makes them unable to participate in such crimes anymore after they are released as well as others are held to death sentence which is a way of ensuring security to people.
Rumley, J. M., and E. (2020). Paterson shooting incidents are the worst they’ve been in 10 years. North Jersey Media Group. https://www.northjersey.com/story/news/paterson-press/2020/11/10/paterson-nj-shooting-incidents-hit-worst-levels-decade/6233189002/
Most children aged 12 to 17 years old have guns, which makes it a terrible movement to those innocent people since these children are killing people often when they think it is the best time to. Therefore, this case makes them unable to move around or even hang up with friends. The writer says that a day on Tuesday, they evidenced 143 shootings in the city which marked the highest number in the 2020 decade.
To keep people, save and ensure that they have no fear as they approach the street at any time of the day, the police officers have to ensure that they collect all the guns which are said to be owned by these people and children who are killing people recklessly and ensure that they are ever around the streets to ensure that the people are under the best security to walk all around the streets.
Yates, T. (2021, April 5). Paterson to step up police patrols target high crime areas. ABC7 New York. https://abc7ny.com/paterson-police-patrols-passaic-county-crime/10488407/
This article seeks to explain how the people of Paterson are being affected by the shootings, which are being experienced in daily basis life. They even go to an extent o trying to seek the methods on how they can move out of the area because they are not safe. This is because they have families, and they fear being killed while relaxing or walking around the streets.
Therefore, the police come out to give attention to the people and help in various ways. They do it by ensuring that they conduct patrols during the day from 9.00 am to 8.00 pm when these shooting incidences occur. This will reduce and even threaten those who are always ready to kill innocent people.
Silva, J. R. (2021). Mass Shooting Outcomes: A Comparison of Completed, Attempted, Failed, and Foiled Incidents in America. Deviant Behavior, 1–20. https://doi.org/10.1080/01639625.2021.1991248
The murder of Genesis Rincon, an innocent girl, is also mentioned in this article. She was also hit by a bullet while wrestling with his friend, and he died after becoming shot, with a burial ceremony scheduled for the following Saturday. Because the girl was innocent, several people were shocked by her death. Her father talks about how the girl was and how they felt about leaving.
The defendants, who are alleged to be three in number, were arrested in this instance. This is a manner of ensuring that those involved in these crimes are disciplined. So this serves as a warning, making them is unable to continue in such crimes once they are released, as well as others being sentenced to death, and it’s a way of assuring safety.

A Comparison of Three Perspectives on the Evolution of Technology

Unless otherwise stated, answer in complete sentences, and be sure to use correct English spelling and grammar. Sources must be cited in APA format. Your response should be four (4) pages in length; refer to the “Assignment Format” link on the course homepage for specific format requirements.
In your course, turn to Lesson 8. Skim through it to refresh your memory. Next, carefully study and review the section titled “Measuring Technological Progress.”
Use your own words to write a short compare-and-contrast essay that defines and explains three distinct perspectives on the evolution of technology. As you write, imagine you are talking to a friend who has no knowledge of this topic. In short, write the way you speak, using a conversational tone. Also, try to alternate short sentences and longer sentences to make your writing more readable.
Be sure to create a title and cite yourself as the author. For example:
A Comparison of Three Perspectives on the Evolution of Technology
Mei Quoran
Your essay should include five paragraphs, as follows:
Paragraph 1 is your lead paragraph. It will contain an overview of what you have to say in comparing and contrasting the perspectives of Gerhard Lenski, Leslie White, and Alvin Toffler with respect to the evolution of technology.
Paragraphs 2, 3, and 4, are your body paragraphs.
In your essay, use paragraph 2 to describe the perspective of Gerhard Lenski.
In paragraph 3, you’ll write about the perspective of Leslie White.
In paragraph 4, you’ll describe and discuss the perspective of Alvin Toffler.
Paragraph 5 is your summary and conclusion. Here, you’ll compare the three perspectives to show how they are, or may be, similar. You’ll contrast the three perspectives to describe how they’re different. You’ll end this process–and your essay–by expressing your view as to which of these theorists (one or more) offer the most useful insights into the evolution of technology, in your opinion.
It’s permissible to use direct quotes from your reading, but don’t use too many. One to three such quotes should be your limit. Be sure to put a direct quote in quotation marks. For example: According to Smith, “Carbon dioxide is both our friend and our enemy.”
Begin by writing a first draft. Then, edit and rework your material to make it clear and concise. After you have reached a final draft, proofread the essay one last time to locate and correct grammar and spelling errors.

What is it?
Who commissioned/created it?
How was it built?
Where was it located?
When was it constructed?
Why was it considered one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World?
What happened to it?
Important Guidelines
Format
Organize this material into a 4 page formal research paper.
It should be double-spaced with a 1” margin and type size should not exceed 12 pts.
Art History, as a discipline, utilizes the MLA style.
Sources
Please use at least two book and unlimited internet resources. Make sure to gather your resources early as we don’t have a lot of information on the Wonders since only one remains – you may have to use an interlibrary loan at your local library. Don’t forget about unconventional sources like children’s books for great illustrations of what these wonders may have looked like, journals, magazines, periodicals, websites, and even videos.
Always cite your sources!

By the end of this week, or before 8 a.m. (CT) on Monday, you will submit your draft to the group Discussion Board so that others can provide you with feedback and help you make your essay stronger.
Content
This first draft should be at least 600 words long. Try to meet the requirements for the final draft as best as you can and submit an essay that you feel is as close to finished as possible so that the feedback you receive is more likely to be useful. However, do not be overly concerned with issues related to proofreading and editing at this point; you will have the opportunity to address these when you revise.
For additional assignment details, go to the “Major Assignments” folder and select “Analytical Essay Outline” to view and/or print the assignment summary.

Grading
Your first draft will not be graded separately, but it will affect the grade you receive for your final draft. Ten percent (10%) of the grade for your final draft will be based on what you submitted as your first draft. As long as you submit a reasonably serious attempt at a first draft that is close to 600 words long, you will receive all the points for that 10% of the rubric
Late Drafts: If your draft is submitted late, but before 8 a.m. (CT) on Wednesday of Week Five, you will receive a portion of the points available in the rubric. That portion will be even smaller, however, if what you submit fails to meet the minimum word count required by a significant amount.
Final Deadline: No drafts will be accepted after 8 a.m. (CT) on the Wednesday of Week Five. Failure to submit a reasonably serious attempt at a first draft that is close to 600 words long by 8 a.m. (CT) on Wednesday of Week Five will result in zero points awarded for that 10% of the rubric for the final draft.
