Unit topic of the week: GENITOURINARY AND REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEMS
This unit focuses on the study of the structure of the male and female reproductive systems. In addition to gross anatomy, you will review the function of the reproductive apparatus. Integral to this discussion is the role of hormonal influences on both male and female reproduction. In support of this, you will be considering disorders of the male and female genitourinary and reproductive systems. An overview of sexually transmitted infections, and their diagnosis, will come at the conclusion of the unit.
