Method of solving Describe which tools you learned in class which will be employed in the problem solving. Describe why the methods you are using will lead to a solution to the problems in the case study.

I am taking the business analytics for my master class. My professor want us to use R studio to do the web exercise.
Here is the detail for the exercise :
FORMAT FOR THE WEB EXERCISES The following sections should be incorporated (if enough information provided in the problem): 1. A Summary of the Problem Give a brief introduction to the problem. Please do NOT copy and paste the original problem from the given case study. Give a brief two paragraph description of the overall goals of the study and what must be found in order to solve the problem. 2. Method of solving Describe which tools you learned in class which will be employed in the problem solving. Describe why the methods you are using will lead to a solution to the problems in the case study. 3. Give the derivation (if one is required) or how specifically you solved your problem in detail. Typically, the case study will guide you towards what should be found and reported on. You must identify the proper tools required to solve the problem as well as use them with any other information or data. 4. Results Summarize your technical results as well as what the results mean in plain English. Your audience typically won’t enjoy reading tables of numbers or heavy mathematics. They like short summary tables, graphs, charts and plain English. After you have described the technical results, translate them into a meaning that any audience, regardless of their mathematical background, can understand. 5. Managerial Implications With any type of problem solving there are usually decisions attached to the solutions. You must take your results and provide recommendations for the best possible decision to make. Justify why you believe the recommended decision will be the best to make. Also perform a sensitivity analysis where appropriate (we will discuss this later in the course). 6. Attachments section (where applicable) This section may include MS Excel files (original calculations that include formulas), statistical analysis output, charts, etc. If your mathematical derivations are long or your work was done using Excel or some other type of software, you must provide the files which show the work. If it is a mathematical derivation, you must actual formulas in Excel.

STYLE Please use Times New Roman font, black, size 12, single space, indented paragraphs, 1-inch margins
Web Exercise #1
1. Import Insurance data into RStudio
2. Assess the normality of the following variables: claim amount, coverage, hoursehold income, and deductible (explain whether or not the variables are normally distributed, are distribution symmetrical or skewed). Explain your findings and support with descriptives (numerical and/or graphical)
3. Is there a statistical relationship between claim amount and income? Explain your findings and support with descriptives (numerical and/or graphical)
4. Is there a statistical relationship between the type of claim and marital status?

Instructions:
Please submit a single PDF file with your answer.

GRADING COMPONENTS
The web exercises will be graded based on the following components: write-up, interpretation, R code,
and paper structure
expectations:
Write-up
Problem statement is precise andclear. The model-building steps
and methodology are clearlystated. Decision criteria are
clearly explained
R code
Code is well-documented,correctly executes, proper syntax
is selected, coding is easy to follow
Interpretation
Overall model (statistical strength, accuracy, and
generalizability) is assessed using discussed criteria and
parameters. All coefficients are discussed. Managerial
implications are clearly outlined based on the output
Paper structure
Paper follows the structure outlines in the section above
(Format for web exercises).Formatting looks professional
(consistent and professional font, indentation, headers). Charts
have white background. Charts, tables and output are clearly
named and referenced in the body of the paper.

From my professor recommend using R Scripts for the homework
**** # When you work in RStudio, you should always keep track of your work, which is why I recommend
# ****using RScripts for your class work, homework, or any tasks that you might perform. Technically,
# you can execute commands from the console, but it will be very difficult to keep track of your progress
# and changes.
Web exercises will
generally ask you to formulate the problem, provide a solution to the problem, and interpret the results
(e.g. make suggestions to the business/manager). Your answers should reflect your understanding of the
assigned readings for the current week; make sure to mention and explain relevant concepts learned for a
complete answer.

adhd and trauma

Describe the research gap you identified and share the research question you came up with in your Topic Proposal and Literature Review Worksheet document in Module Two.
Along with the initial three references you chose in Milestone One, add an additional four references to this milestone, listing them in APA format. Give a brief description of what they show, how they tie into your chosen topic, and how they help demonstrate the gap.
Share the basics of your proposed study to address the gap, including any ethical considerations.

The Effects of Mental Health Training on Suicide Rates in the U.S. Military

This week we you will develop your research draft paper. You will include the information you presented in your week 1 proposal for the first part of this draft. Be sure to include your thesis statement in your introduction. You will then include the subheadings sections you created in week 4. You will also develop and present your results in the discussion section (download research template). You must meet the following requirements:
· Your paper should range from 6-8 pages.
· The paper should have 6-8 peer-reviewed references.
· Your paper must combine information from two different disciplines.
· Your paper should be written in third person and past tense.
· Your paper must be in APA format.
Criteria for Research Draft:
· Title – not just a topic name – should capture the research problem and tell the reader what the research investigates
· Introduction – 1-2 paragraphs – gives your reader adequate background information and includes your main thesis statement
· Problem Statement – 1 paragraph – describes the overarching problem to include your main (supported) problem statement
· Purpose Statement – 1 paragraph – describes the intent of the research to include your main purpose statement
· Research Questions – include your research question(s)
· Study Significance – 1 paragraph describes the importance of the study to include your main significance statement
· 3-5 Subheadings – Include topic sentences that describe what is covered under each subheading (the subheadings make up to main research body)
· Discussion – Present your conclusions and results based on the research you presented in the subheadings. This is where you clearly answer your research question(s)
· Conclusion – 1 paragraph to summarize the key points to include a rephrasing of your thesis statement
· References – 6-8 peer-reviewed sources
Note** We are not writing a proposal anymore, we have completed our research. Therefore, this paper should be written in past tense.

Full-Time MBA

This project takes a lot of what we learned in the previous weeks and builds upon it to include different visualizations and analytical techniques that are covered in the most recent weeks.

Visualizations: Part A
Calculate and show (bar chart) the total sales by year and month for 2015 and 2014.
Which was the lowest / highest year and month? Calculate the difference of the total sales by month of 2015 from 2014. Show and describe how they compare.
Create a line chart for each of the years of sales (each year as a separate line). Describe the trends (if any).
Create a bar chart that shows the total sales by year.
Create a pivot table that shows the total sales by state and by year. Use conditional formatting visualizations to help show the differences.
Analytical Techniques: Part B
How does 2015 compare to the previous 2 years? What are the rates of change?
What are the total sales for the “black Friday” sale of 2015? (Use Friday – Monday.) Was this a “good” black Friday sale? How do we know?
Which states / years are outliers?
Which state has grown / declined the most by total sales from 2014 to 2015?
Which state has grown / declined the most by quantity of sales from 2014 to 2015?
Calculate the average sales by state. Calculate the average sale standard deviations by state. Calculate which of the 3 states had averages that were most different from the total of all states’ average.

Start by selecting one of the following questions:
1. Motive: What seem to be Machiavelli’s motivations in writing The Prince?
2. Character: What sort of person does Machiavelli seem to be?
3. Structure: How systematic and comprehensive does the structure of Machiavelli’s treatise seem to be.

*At the beginning of the paper briefly explain why you choose that particular question, then proceed to answer that question by:
a) selecting two passages from the text
b) explaining and interpreting what you regard as the correct meaning of each passage
c) considering their implications with regard to the text as a whole
d) most importantly, explaining in detail why those passages constitute important evidence to answer the specific question

Case Study: Consumer and Business Standpoint

Link- http://www.digitaltrainingacademy.com/casestudies/

Identify the business goals and objectives of the marketers to this particular audience. What is being marketed? Who is the target audience? Describe how the product, service, or brand is being marketed to this audience.
 Analyze the consumer interactions with the brand, product, or service during this campaign. How have consumers reacted to this marketing effort? After reviewing the results achieved, can you determine whether the campaign was successful? What were the consumers’ follow-through reactions? Can you search online for additional content related to the campaign and justify its achievements?
 Evaluate the success of the digital marketing campaign. What information about consumers’ decision-making process can marketers learn from this campaign? In your opinion, how effective is this approach from the consumer and business standpoints? Finally, suggest ways that this campaign could be improved, supported by evidence.
