Describe with words and images how neuraesthetics may have, or were, used in your precedent facility.

doing Disney concert hall for this project

First; The presentation should include: a short intro, your hypotheses, a wellness facility case study, tables and/or graphs related to your findings, and an interpretation of your data. Define through words and images the 8 dimensions of wellness which are: social, emotional, spiritual, environmental, occupational, intellectual, financial and physical wellbeing. Also, describe to us which of the 8 dimensions your Case Study employs.
Second; Narrative structures have long been used as a tool for generating meaning in design relative to the human experience. Working on the assumption that the identity of space is created though the story they tell, this studio explores how stories of communities and individuals inform design. The media used to communicate these narratives require the development of technological and performative strategies of expression. Narrative interiors evolve from an introspective exploration of the client’s mission and passion; the building program or function; its site context; and often its place in history. Write a sentence and include photos of which you think tell the narrative of the Case Study you have selected.
Third; Neuroaesthetics is a field of experimental science that aims to combine (neuro-) psychological research with aesthetics by investigating the “perception, production, and response to art and design, as well as interactions with objects and scenes that evoke an intense feeling, often of pleasure.” Neuroesthetics is a relatively recent sub-discipline of empirical aesthetics. Empirical aesthetics takes a scientific approach to the study of aesthetic perceptions of art, music, or any object that can give rise to aesthetic judgments. The field seeks among other things the neural correlates (Links to an external site.) of aesthetic judgment and creativity. It is argued that visual aesthetics, namely the capacity of assigning different degrees of beauty to certain forms, colors, or movements, is a human trait acquired after the divergence of human and other ape lineages, rendering the experience of beauty a defining characteristic of humankind.

To what extent should the educational system prepare people for the job force versus preparing them to think critically?

Need 50 word response to two discussion responses

1.). To what extent should the educational system prepare people for the job force versus preparing them to think critically? Which is more important in your view, and why? Connect your points to a recent news article or event.
You cannot have one without the other. Critical thinking is necessary in order to build strategies, connect ideas and scrutinize arguments (Indeed Career Guide 2021). You’re able to reflect to correct the errors that are essential to move forward with productive skills. Whether you’re a plumber or a doctor, the ability to critically think is necessary in order to improve your job production and advancement.
Critical thinking is important is nearly every job. It’s a habit that’s used to problem solve and can be used in any situation (Campbell 2021). It allows someone to ask questions and come up with new ways to accomplish whatever task is necessary. It helps to build teamwork, communication skills and leadership.
There has been a big push in recent years to go to college so you can get a better job and be more secure but during this time, there has been a lot lost. Critical thinking is one of those skills. There seems to be a lack of basic knowledge on how to maintain things. Labor jobs are being pushed aside and people are no longer learning how to fix the simple issues. This in turn costs a lot of money and there is a loss of basic survival knowledge. I think we have all learned during this pandemic how important it is to know the basics of tasks. You don’t have to be a mechanic but it is nice to have the skill to learn how to have the basic knowledge of how to fix engines or how to ask the questions needed to learn these skills. College education is extremely important. We cannot advance without this knowledge however, there are skills that are being pushed aside for this reason.

Week 4: Education and the Economy
The educational system should prepare individuals for the job force, but they also need to prepare individuals to think critically. There is not enough emphasis on critical thinking skills, and they are overlooked. Preparing for the job force is necessary because the individual must be taught the skills necessary for the job functions to be performed correctly, however critical thinking is equally important.
My thoughts tend to lean towards conflict theory on this topic. I do not think children or young adults should just be taught one thing such as being prepared to do their one job and be done. To earn financial freedom nowadays, one simply cannot and should not rely on one source of income from one job. It is a necessity to have additional sources of income and that requires using critical thinking skills. You must be able to recognize a need for additional income and find the solution to produce ideas from which that additional income is going to come from. Not everyone has to be an entrepreneur or someone who has their own business or side hustle, but critical thinking skills can be used to make decisions when it comes to finances. Critical thinking skills can also give the individual a “leg up” in their employment allowing them the potential to work their way up the ladder or even something as simple as being offered overtime because they are able to do more than the average employee.
As we look at current events a good example of why the educational systems should prepare individuals for both is the most recent covid 19 pandemic and the unemployment rates. It does not necessarily matter that you have a steady job or steady pay because many businesses have been forced to lay off their employees. With no job, personal problems and financial despair have become apparent. It has become hard for individuals when it comes to paying their mortgage, feeding their children, or finding new employment. With a lack of critical thinking tools, it would be extremely difficult to find a way to address these issues. “More than nine in 10 of the world’s workers continue to live in countries with some sort of workplace closures, with the Americas experiencing the greatest restrictions, the Geneva-based UN body said.” (Hard Times Forecast for Global Job Recovery in 2020, Warns UN Labour, 2020). It is essential during these tough times to have some sort of job skill or technical skill along with critical thinking skills to press on and to keep moving ahead. Even if you are an individual that has been financially impacted or left unemployed by the covid-19 pandemic if you have been taught both sets of skills then you are able to think your way out of despair and put your skills to use to survive.

Watch the video clip before you begin the AQ and if you want to draft an essay before completing the AQ – this is the direction for the essay (30 points):
Utilize the video clip to write an essay regarding China’s use of facial recognition technology to formulate social credit scores awarded to Chinese citizens.
It is an essay so therefore it must include an introduction, a three-paragraph body (subtopics 1-3), and a conclusion.
Subtopic 1: ranking – breakdown point totals, provide commentary by Chinese citizens, explain why big data is used, and describe the habits of people that increase their score and habits that lower their score.
Subtopic 2: the example provided of a model citizen – describe her family, provide her financial status, and explain the examples pertinent to jaywalking, supermarket shopping, and discounts.
Subtopic 3: the example of a blacklisted citizen – why is he blacklisted? how did he discover the fact that he was blacklisted? describe the penalties of being blacklisted, and describe the circumstances that led to his being removed the blacklist.

What do you think about the Court’s reasoning on this idea of harm, and its role in justifying limitations on freedom of expression?

Assignment Paper 1 – freedom of expression
In 1992 the Supreme Court of Canada gave us an important, precedent setting ruling in R v Butler. This ruling has shaped Canadian law on freedom of expression in important ways.
In Butler the Court declared that a ban on obscenity was constitutionally valid, even though it infringed on freedom of expression. Specifically, the court said that certain kinds of expression, those that did not pass the community standards test, and/or the “degrading and dehumanizing” test (or which involved children) could be prohibited (unless, of course, such expression were of a type protected by the “artistic defense”). Somewhat curiously, the effect of this ruling was to make pornographic material MORE available than before. In the 30 years since this ruling, a lot has changed. The most obvious development is the internet, and with it easy access to pornographic images, videos, etc.
Central to the analysis that the Court offered in Butler is the idea that there is a real risk of harm from having certain kinds of images, certain kinds of speech, publicly available. Specifically, the harm is the likelihood of violence and exploitation directed at women and children by persons exposed to (and motivated by) exposure to certain kinds of material. But the evidence of harm, the Court indicated, is controversial and not conclusive. Still, it said that on an issue that is so important, the Government should be given a certain latitude to help attenuate the risk of harm, and restrict freedom of expression in order to achieve that goal.
What do you think about the Court’s reasoning on this idea of harm, and its role in justifying limitations on freedom of expression? Did the Court get it right? Did it get it wrong? Is there something you would change?
In your paper, you will need to decide what answer you are prepared to give to the question. You will then have to decide what evidence supports your view (either way) – if you agree with the Court, explain why you agree with them. And if you disagree, then, again, explain why you disagree. Remember, the key to a good argument is a clear conclusion, supported by clear, convincing and reliable evidence. (I hold x to be true/right, because of reasons a,b,c….)
Your paper should be no more than 1000 words; this is about 4 pages, double-spaced, 12 pt Times font.
Your paper should be based primarily on your reading and analysis of R v Butler. You are free to read any secondary sources you like, but this is not necessary. Your job is really to decide whether the arguments presented in Butler make sense. But please remember, if you do use secondary sources, you MUST use proper citations and references.

Explain the thinking of the Court in DC v. Heller. Marbury v. Madison.

Explain the thinking of the Court in DC v. Heller.
Constitutional Interpretation and the Second Amendment
Considering what you have read about interpretation and the history
of the Second Amendment, do you agree with the Court’s interpretation?
In answering this question, first identify what mode or modes of
constitutional interpretation you find in this decision. Make sure that
you provide the sentence or sentences from the opinion that support
your answer. Think about these questions as you read the decision and
then analyze it from all points of view: would you have used the same
mode of interpretation? If not why not? How would you have interpreted
the constitution? Why?
Discussion posts must be a minimum of 500 words and incorporate readings and research.

Marbury v. Madison 5 U.S. 137 (1803)
This exercise and discussion is important for your work in the course
and particularly for your written assignment in Module 2 wherein you
are required to write a short essay and brief the decision in Marbury v.
Madison (1803), a landmark decision in the history of the US Supreme
Court.
For this discussion, I’d like you to do the same thing you
did for Heller in the first discussion. What modes of interpreting the
Constitution did the Court use to come to its decision? Provide the
language from the decision that supports your answer. Would you have
decided the case this way? Why or why not? In this early case, what did
the Court look to for guidance in making its decision?

Discussion posts must be a minimum of 500 words and incorporate readings and research.

Explain why the support team members disagree about what tier of instruction would best meet Daisy’s needs and justify your answer.

Assessment Description

Early diagnosis and intervention of dyslexia is key. Research has demonstrated the high rate of effectiveness of intervention if it is provided between kindergarten and third grade. Assessment is the first step in identifying the students who need intervention. Teachers must understand when to assess and what specific areas need to be assessed. It is also important to understand the varied assessment tools that can be used and how to analyze the data from those assessments.

Response to intervention (RTI) requires progress monitoring to occur on a consistent basis when gauging the relevance and success of universal, targeted, and intensive individualized interventions being implemented. Data analysis allows teachers to make relevant decisions about individual students and advocate for new or continued placement on the RTI continuum.

Part 3: Interpreting Assessment Data Results
Review the topic Resources. Using the “Dyslexia Evaluation Report For English-Speaking Students (Non-ELLS)” analyze the reading assessment data presented in the document.

In 500-750 words, discuss the following:
• Summarize overall student progress.
• Interpret the data to determine whether Daisy is responding adequately to Tier 2 instruction. Discuss data that could potentially indicate signs of dyslexia.
• Explain why the support team members disagree about what tier of instruction would best meet Daisy’s needs and justify your answer.
• Describe the tier of instruction you would recommend for Daisy: Tier 1 instruction only, another round of Tier 2 instruction, or intensive Tier 3 instruction. Explain your answer.
• Identify and explain the specific data points that were analyzed and summarize your findings.
• Discuss how you will use this data to plan whole group instruction.
• Explain specific interventions you will employ to assist students who are struggling with dyslexia or reading difficulties.
While APA style is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and documentation of sources should be presented using APA formatting guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
