Each year we see flu shots advertised just about everywhere. Many are required to get them due to their professions. The elderly and children are also advised to get them as they are the greatest at risk. There is a growing concern and movement that has led to the proposal of a bill in Rhode Island that says a child can’t attend daycare or pre-kindergarten unless they have received a flu shot. Some believe this could be considered an intrusion into personal liberties. Discuss your thoughts about this issue and if you think this does violate personal liberties. Please be sure to support your stance. 100 words

Additional Information
Alina believes this course will help her develop parenting skills to support her family. She is interested in enrolling in the class, but she is worried about her success in the course. She identifies her own educational experience as unfavorable. Alina recalls boring lectures with seemingly irrelevant information. The lessons eventually led to tests that she struggled to pass. Alina remembers wishing her teachers would let her explore the concepts hands-on. She wondered if this class would mirror her previous experience or if she would collaborate with other parents and learn new parenting strategies. After much thought, Alina anxiously enrolls in the class.
Question 6: Identify the cognitive functions of learning that Xavier and Lydia should take into consideration when planning their course and describe why.

Following each module, consider how and why you might apply that concept/ method to study sexuality, or how that concept/approach is situated in the field of sexuality studies. The goal of these memos is to help you brainstorm and develop various ideas for a possible research proposal, and think about how a humanistic social science methodology connects to our field. Reading memos are informal comments on the key methodological questions you see in the readings assigned for that week, issues you thought worthy of further discussion, and analytic problems you think are important in the readings. I also encourage you to include one or two quotes that you find particularly intriguing, challenging, or worth discussing. The purpose of these memos is to share reflections on our common reading while engaging in your individual interests. Memos should be turned in on the discussion board posts so you can engage with the work of other classmates, however, you should also be saving them in your citation software (ref works recommended) to be able to return to at a later date.
