“Monopoly Game” , the government versus technology companies (Facebook , Apple , Amazon and Google) ,write 5-7 pages using the microeconomic concepts that you learned in this course to critically analyze the following :-
Brief economic analytical description of U.S “Antitrust” regulations and why they came into force.
Briefly describe how the above companies achieved market power ,their competitive behavior in terms of supply/demand , elasticities ,cost ,revenue and profit.
Critically analyze and summarize the U.S government arguments against the competitive nature of each of the above four companies.
Present your own argument “for” or “against” the regulations of the above tech companies or provide a 3rd solution considering the impact on consumers , technological innovations, and market competitiveness.
