An Empirical Study on the Application of Taylor Rule in China’s Monetary Policy

This is a 20 to 25 pages double-space Capstone paper, you have to do some research on the Tylor Rule and know how to run linear regression.

The proposal for this assignment is:

Detailed objective:
In my capstone, I decided to conduct a further empirical study based on the existing theoretical research on Taylor Rule in China. In this paper, the coefficients obtained from the regression results of several models are put into the Taylor Rule. Then the difference between the predicted value of interest rate in the last two years (2020 and 2021) and the comparison results of the actual value is obtained to empirically test whether the Taylor Rule is effectively applied in China’s monetary policy.
The added value of the capstone:
This study can also consider how to improve the statistical accuracy of China’s output gap data, reduce the deviation in the process of Taylor Rule, and enhance the positive influence of Taylor Rule on China’s monetary policy operation by calculating and judging the results.
Data to be used in the capstone:
– Source(s): This paper mainly uses data sources from Chinese university doctoral dissertations, Chinese and English economic and financial research papers, etc.
– Countries: China
– Dates: 2001-2021
Analytical framework:
I will use the quarterly data from 2001 to 2021 to test whether China’s monetary policy is in line with its operation through the Taylor Rule model and analyze the proposal, development, and foresight of the Taylor Rule. Then I will calculate the answer through the regression coefficient equation and compare the actual ratios of different years to determine whether the Taylor Rule is reflected in China’s monetary policy. Finally, I will discuss the limitations and accuracy of China’s current application of the Taylor Rule and put forward corresponding suggestions.
Anticipated results:
It turns out that the Taylor Rule has not been applied to monetary policy in China because the predicted interest rates in the last two years (2020 and 2021) are quite different from the actual values.

Due Date: 5/7/2023
Introduction: Currently there are 193 states that are recognized by the United Nations. These countries all have different origins and unique histories. Some were created through colonization, some came into existence after World Wars, and others have been created due to conflict and changing cultural boundaries. For this project, you will be creating your own state.
Directions: You must create a state using your knowledge of political organization and agriculture. For this assessment, you must complete a paper that details various aspects of your state and a visual presentation that will give a unique overview of your state. When planning your state, you must include the following:
· The shape of your state and how this negatively and positively impacts your country. Review chapter on Political Geography and Agriculture for state shapes and their meanings.
· Where your state is located on the globe, and how this affects climate and agriculture. Make sure the latitude of your country corresponds with correct climate and economic level of your country. Review the Cone and Periphery Models to guide your choices. When discussing agriculture and climate, you will need to review the corresponding chapters.
· What job sectors exist in your country and whether or not your country is a MDC or LDC.
· The type of government system your state will use (unitary or federal); make sure that your state shape corresponds to the government system you choose.
· Centripetal and centrifugal forces that exist within the state, and how these impact society. Include these forces and their impacts.
· How women and men exist within the state. Is there equality? How so? Review the GDI and other country financial metrics.
· What stage of Rostow’s Development Model your state is in. You must also tell the history of your state for each stage up to the point your state is currently in. Review Rostow’s model.
· What cultures exist within your state? Popular, folk or both?
· Explain the traditions, religion, language groups and ethnicity(s) within your state.
Grading: This project will be a major grade, equal to your final exam grade. You will receive one grade for your paper and another for your presentation.
Part 1: Written Paper: 100 points Your paper must be double-spaced, 3-5 pages long, 12 point Times New Roman font or similar, and include meaningful language with correct grammar, spelling, and mechanics.
1. 15 points—A title page with your state’s name, your name and class, and a drawing of your state. This title page is not included in the page requirement.
2. 15 points—Page length and format meets requirements; proper grammar, spelling, mechanics.
3. 70 points—All points listed below are fully explained and supported (cite using course vocabulary)
a. State’s shape and the shape’s positive and negative qualities to the state
b. Location of state on the globe and how this impacts climate, agriculture, and economic level of the country.
c. Job sectors and whether or not your state is a MDC or LDC

Genogram Family Analysis

This scholarly paper is an interpretive analysis of the comprehensive genogram illustration which highlights trends in family relationships, marital status, family issues, family patterns of mental illness, and substance abuse.
Develop a scholarly paper that addresses the following criteria:
Complete a 5-6 page in-depth analysis of the information gained in the family genogram.
Three issues should be addressed in this narrative:
Define what the term “family” means to you and describe how your definition of family influenced the content of the genogram. Include cultural, spiritual and ethnic influences in your response.
Describe your family’s structure. Include household composition, sibling constellations, unusual family configurations and multiple families, i.e., foster care, adoption, stepfamilies, and god-families. Provide specific examples of open-type, closed-type, or random-type communication and the presence of boundaries, if any.
Discuss your reasons for excluding family members that may have been logical to include.
Use key terms to interpret the family dynamics and communication and how it impacts the family.
Interpret the family’s patterns and functioning between and within generations. Provide specific examples to explain the family’s relationship with each other i.e., relationship dynamics between generations and intergenerational and family member roles. Use key terms to interpret life events like marriages, divorces, transitions, traumas, family secrets, and critical life changes.

Genogram Nursing paper

Background:
In health promotion and disease prevention health care providers sometimes must assess and ask questions about the family background of clients in order to complete a risk assessment. In researching the history and physicals of clients you may see a genogram included in the chart.

Traditionally the family was defined as a biological family (mother, father, and children all blood related). The current definition of the family has expanded. Currently there are many different families including (but not limited to):

Single parent families (one out of 4 children in the U.S. lives with single parent)
Multi-generational
Lesbian and gay parents raising children
Grandparents raising grandchildren

Families provide certain purposes (theoretically) including:

Physical (basic needs), a comfortable and safe environment
Economic
Reproductive
Emotional (affection, comfort, and coping)
Socialization (teaches value belief, problem solves, helps make good productive citizens for society)

Duvall is one of several Family Theorists. He identified stages of the family life cycle and critical family developmental tasks that must be successfully mastered in order for family growth and adaptation. It is similar to Erikson’s Stages of Development that you worked with last semester. This classification goes by the age of the oldest child. Some criticisms of this theory are that it assumes that all families are typical and it has a middle class bias. It doesn’t allow for diversity.

Genograms can be used to record family illnesses and to give information about family relationships and boundaries. We will only be recording illnesses.

Requirements:

Using the genogram symbols provided, complete a three generational genogram. Include: age, sex, marriages and children. If deceased mark with an “X” and include age of death and Cause (if known). It needs to include both the paternal and maternal sides of the nuclear family.

Identify with a circle the nuclear family that you are basing this genogram on.

Identify the stage of Duvall and what tasks need to be accomplished. Give a brief narrative on how the family is doing with each of these tasks.

Look at the genogram. What trends for illness or health promotion do you see? Select an illness (especially if it is recurring) and write a paper on the description, signs and symptoms, risk factors, and treatment.

What could you teach this family that would be beneficial to prevent further occurrences or disease complications. Be specific. Do not just state ”exercise”. State “aerobic exercise for at least 30 minutes for a minimum of three times a week (like walking, running, swimming, or riding a bicycle)”.

Finally, evaluate this assignment. Was it beneficial in facilitating learning? Explain the significance of using genograms in history taking. Was this assignment of any personal benefit to you?

Bibliography using APA format with at least one source for the illness described.

Final thoughts. If you do not feel comfortable doing one on your immediate family, choose someone that can provide you with this information. You do not have to identify yourself by name or any family member or friend. Per usual, all the information submitted will be confidential and will be between the student and instructor only.
