Consider the following questions as you draft Sessions 1 and 2 for your new psychotherapeutic group, focusing on Stage 2, the Initial Stage (see Assignment 14.1: Group Manual).
As a group leader, how would you lead the initial stage of your group?
Identify ways in which you might facilitate trust in your group. How would you know that trust has been established among your group members?
Identify one role you have as group leader during this phase of group development. How would you approach and implement this role?
Draft a tool for your group members to complete at the beginning and at the end of your group to evaluate the effectiveness of the group experience. You must develop this tool yourself. Note that you will have to create two tools for the final manual; the second will be submitted with Assignment 12.2: Final Stage. Include a description of the tool and how you will present it in one of the sessions in this paper, with the tool itself as an appendix.
Write a double-spaced paper with a minimum of three references (two of which are scholarly) in APA format. In this and the subsequent papers, each session should be described separately.

Write a 5-paragraph essay, which includes an intro paragraph, 3 body paragraphs, and a concluding paragraph, in which you identify aspects of your life that you need to juggle along with your responsibilities as a student.
They may include a job, a spouse or significant other, children, pets, extracurricular activities, a difficulty living situation, or anything else that poses a challenge to your academics. Provide real-life examples of how each of those responsibilities sometimes conflicts with your studies at AVC.
Students are expected to extensively revise and complete several evolved rough drafts. However, the best-and-final draft is due on or before Monday, June 21, 2021. NOTE: This due date will NOT be extended, regardless of the reason(s).

T Paper #2 — Position Paper
Length: approx. 1000-1500 words (or more)

Choose a controversial topic you feel strongly about and write an argumentative essay that presents and defends your position upon that subject. This topic can be of local, national, or international import; it can be of political, economic, moral, or ethical context; but must be something you know about, feel strongly about and can write intelligently about (do not fall into needless emotional appeals).
The object of this assignment is to take and to state a position, and to then defend and to support that position with well-reasoned evidence. Therefore, carefully compose your thesis-claim in such a way that it both defines and limits the range of your interest. Think clearly about your audience before you sit down to write and while you construct your position paper. Try to anticipate your opponents’ positions within your own argument, audience to whom you are aiming your paper.
Ultimately, I am interested in your opinion and your defense of it. Therefore, do not think of this as a research paper or a report. However, I do want you to draw upon at least 4 credible sources from external types in order to help you better defend your position. (Off limits as sources are encyclopedias, dictionaries, Reader’s Digest, wikipedia, tabloids, WebMD, ask.com, about.com, MedicineChest.com and all Dummies/Idiots books.) Therefore, think carefully about what it is you are going to write about.
You will be required to use MLA parenthetical documentation and to have a Works Cited page. Topics not allowed: abortion and capital punishment.

Explain what the purpose of hypothesis testing
is? Do you see any relevance to hypothesis testing in your daily life? This
could be school life, personal life, or work life. Start with work life and

Now that you are familiar with Lois Tyson’s Critical Theory Today text, I would like you to use one criticism, other than the one you presented in class, to examine Toni Morrison’s Beloved. Use particular and essential frameworks of the criticism to illustrate how Morrison’s novel can be interpreted through that lens. For example, if you are using psychoanalytic criticism then capture the essence of the criticism such as, the unconscious, defenses, anxiety, dreams. etc. to explain Morrison’s work.
For example, you may examine a character in the novel who may be illustrating psychoanalytic traits or tendencies.

Select a claim. The claim is also the thesis and it will be the base upon which the entire paper will focus on and reference. Consider what you want to state about your topic, then write the statement.
Select multiple quotes/passages from your sources; each passage should reflect and speak to the main claim/thesis of your paper.
Use the quote/passage to illustrate the point you wish to make. The passages and quotes should always be used as evidence about whatever point you want to make. Then after you write your passage you will need to write commentary. This commentary is also known as the analysis.
The last paragraphs should be a “discussion” or “conclusion” about how the literary criticism is juxtaposed with the Morrison text. You need to consider and write about how your sources come together, how the criticism speaks about the subject, and how the criticism responds to Morrison’s work.
Use the criticism as both a base and a supportive resource as will strengthen the overall paper

Professional Practice Paper
Based on the AP role of the person that you interviewed in W1 Project, in a 2-4 page paper (excluding the title page, references, and appendices) describe the role, the type of organization, and address all the interview questions, and include:
List the type of organization. For example: Primary care office, ED, Specialty, cardiology GI etc.
List the type of and how many clients it serves. FP would see all ages. Research in your area the number of visits in a local office per year or # of visits seen local ED, specialty office etc.
The professional fit for advanced nursing role. “Fit” refers to the Qualifications in order to be an AP provider at that agency/organization. What license, credentialing (accrediting agency, and other expectations NPI, CMS)?
