Opening: we will show that a person can rise in life without becoming arrogant, can learn without becoming arrogant.
Background: Thesis statement: In the short story The Butler, written by Roald Dahl
Thesis: In this thesis tells about people who want to get ahead in life, who want to demonstrate that they have money, but at the same time cannot be arrogant and mistreat like other people.
Body Paragraph 1
Topic Sentence: Mr Cleaver(Classes)
Explanation: Mr claver, wants to be a millionaire at any cost, that’s a bad act, he can go over people to become one, that’s not good.
Evidence:Tibss, he is also an arrogant person, says that for him to become a sophisticated person he needs to have better behavior, he complains about cheap food and cheap wine.
Explanation: Mr cleaver studied to know better wines, but even so his parties that he gives do not improve, he is obsessed with these parties
Evidence: Butler says that it’s because of the vinegar he uses to season his food, that this kind of seasoning is the enemy of sophistication.
Explanation: Mr Cleaver bows to the butler, whatever he says, he listens
Evidence: He doesnt know about wine, but after he hears that there is a better wine than his, he wants to buy all of the best wine.
Concluding/Transition Sentence: Mr clarvs should listen more to himself, leave a little butler aside, and have more self-confidence. And arrogance is never the best way to go, stepping over others, respecting others, and everything in life.

Explanation: At the party MR Tibbs calculate everything, he is very good at his job.
Evidence: TIbbs calculates what size table and the chair he’ll need.BFG is usually four times bigger than grow man, so because of that, he will eat four more eggs and pieces of toast from normal what they are used to serve.
Explanation: Mr Tibbs has the experience and knows what he is doing, also respects his job and employer.
Evidence: he always knows the type of food he serves, the time, where people will sit, the right amount of food to be served
Explanation: when he arrived for dinner it was a surprise to the staff that Mr. Tibbs didn’t know what to use him for fork, knife and spoon.
Evidence: but he quickly had a resolution, he quickly decides to use gardening tolls for the spoon and fork. So from an error, he quickly found a resolution
Concluding/Transition Sentence: Always lay down prepared for your work, for small unforeseen events that may happen.

Explanation: Lied to Mr Cleaver.
Evidence: he used the party as an excuse to leave.
Explanation cleaver is complaining about the vinegars.
Evidence: hey conflicted because the butler was saying that vinegar spoils the palate.
Explanation: about the quality of the wine, a demonstration of arrogance among them, none of whom have much knowledge of wine.
Evidence Mr cleaver think is Lafite 45, Tibbs think is Spanish Red.
Concluding/Transition Sentence: always try to avoid conflict, is the best way.

Summary:The Butler righted by Roald Dahl, shows how people can not be when they have some money.
Memorable Ending: regardless of whether the person has money or not, he does not need to change his behavior because of it, his character, stop being a humble person, he has to be himself, treat as people with respect regardless of whether he has money or not, the that stays in life is character.
