A researcher based in Miami wants to learn about the experiences of homeless people in the United States by conducting interviews with them. He plans to conduct in-person interviews with the homeless people he samples. He is having trouble deciding how to draw a representative sample of homeless people because homeless people are difficult to find, often move from place to place, and are often cycled in and out of homelessness. The researcher has one year and a $5,000 grant with which to conduct his interviews.

Your task is to help this researcher.

1. What is the population he wants to generalize to?
2. What are possible sampling frames (sources) from which he can draw his sample?
3. What do you think would be a good/realistic sample size?
4. What sampling methods would you suggest he uses? Why?

In nurses experiencing burnout (P), how does yoga (I) compared to not using yoga (C) affect nurse satisfaction and stress levels (O) within eight weeks of implementation (T)?

Directions: Look at the suggested Readings and Resources in Module 4. Search credible websites for clinical practice guidelines or recommendations from a professional organization on evidence-based practices related to the subject you selected for your PICOT question. If you are not sure if it is appropriate, email it to the instructor in advance. The intent is to find appropriate guidelines or the original source of EBP recommendations that you will be able to use in your Literature Review. The instructor will give you feedback if the guidelines or recommendations you selected will be appropriate.
For your original thread:
In the first sentence, state the purpose of guidelines and cite the source in APA format.
Then describe the developers (authors’ credentials or organizations who wrote it) and why you think this is a credible source or developer. Note: National Guideline Clearinghouse is the publisher, not the developer.
Conclude with how relevant their guidelines or recommendations are to your PICOT.
List the complete reference at the bottom.
Attach a PDF file of the document or a link to the website if no downloadable file is available.

Molecular Geometries PHET lab

Okay, so Molecular Geometries lab, it’s a PhET simulator, there’s a document on my Canvas with instructions, it’s a full lab report with most of the typical sections. For the report, the Intro needs to include the 2 questions (one at the end of page 2, the other at the beginning of page 3) but work them into the Intro naturally with the rest of the Intro stuff. The Data/Obs section will be that giant table (make sure it is labeled properly). Make sure to include the lewis structures (drawn, not from google) in the first column with the molecular formula and screenshots from the simulator in the last columnno Calculation section. For the Discussion/Conclusion, make sure to include the 3 questions from the second to last page, also incorporated naturally. Then the last page of the doc will be a Post Lab Questions section (can go before your Discussion/Conclusion section) where you identify the molecular geometries of the structures then match the molecular formulas listed at the top of the page to the structures. Then, don’t forget the typical Header, Purpose, Procedure (slightly odd because it’s a simulator), and References sections.
