The impact of the food industry on the climate

This assignment is an annotated bibliography used to supprort another eassay in the future. The topic I wanted to use is the impact of the food industry on the climate such as farming and food waste. Since about a third of all human-caused greenhouse gas emissions is linked to food I think this was a good topic. The direct instructuons are found in the files below and assignment #3 is the one I need help with.

Compare and Contrast between Antigone by Jean Anouilh and The Doll’s House by Henrik Ibsen answering one of the 4 questions.

I have included a picture in the files, there are 4 different questions please just choose one of the questions to answer. It should compare and contrast between two of the novels which is Antigona by Jean Anouilh and The Doll’s House by Henrik Ibsen. No need for quotes. All you have to do is compare and contrast between both of the texts answering the questions. If you could do an intro, with 4 bodies and an conclusion. I have also included a rubric please follow it in order to get the highest score as possible. I really need this to be done as soon as possible.

Architecture history research paper on how the design of cities affect their sustainability, resource management and community resilience.

Here is the abstract:
This research project aims to explore how the design of cities affects their
sustainability, resource management and community resilience. Through the analysis of several
case studies, this research will examine the current state of urban design and propose innovative
solutions to enhance the sustainability, resource management and community resilience of
existing and future cities. The research will draw upon a range of disciplines, including urban
planning, sociology, economics and environmental science, to develop a comprehensive
understanding of the complex nature of urban development and the implications it has on
sustainability, resource management and community resilience from then to now. The research
project will also include a detailed discussion of the challenges that cities face and the potential
solutions that can be implemented to improve the quality of life of their citizens. The results of
this research project will provide valuable insights and new ideas that can be utilized by urban
planners, policy makers and citizens alike to create better cities.

There is a file with info that I want to be included in the essay.

Here are some additional notes:
– Use first 4 cities I mentioned and find sustainable examples for those rather than other countries.
– Don’t limit yourself to those 4 places, but use them as a jumping off points. Here’s why we started off with these cities and expand. Get more info on them.
– A lot of cities are on the water.
– What makes actually good places to be and not just places people have been for a long time.
– Recent developments aren’t what makes cities cities necessarily, dig into the history.
– Do they hav zoning restrictions for how tall, zoning, districts. Started doing it for Amsterdam, but expand.
– Start producing visuals – found images
– Color coding images, diagrams, simple overlays related to initial notes.
– In the next coming weeks develop.
– Build up bibliography and image library.
– Material types over time period and on different surfaces.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! 🙂

morton and obama

We recognize and remember the events at Selma as a powerful and important example of social change. President Obama states that there have been many additional social change efforts over the last 50 years and then goes on to describe a number of current social justice issues that require our attention and effort.
Please choose one of the social justice issues he mentions.
Give an example of an intervention, campaign or program you believe could address the issue in a meaningful way. This can be an existing one or it can be an idea you have.
Describe how it might address the issue you have chosen.
Based on the knowledge you’ve acquired through reading the Morton article, state the paradigm in which your idea falls.
Support your choice with evidence from the article.
Finally, respond to the post of a peer in a meaningful way.

Arguementive Essay About If college athletes should be paid or not

Write a 4–5-page argumentative essay in which you take a position on a subject. To make this assignment a meaningful and successful endeavor, choose a topic with a narrow focus, so you can successfully support your stance. Avoid global issues and claims that are supported more by emotion than fact. The key to a successful argumentative essay is to combine facts with logic to form a convincing argument. Once you’ve selected a topic, examine the subject for a debatable claim. If the claim is arguable (if there is an opposing side), then you have the focus for an argumentative essay. Your essay must address opposing views of your position. To clarify your purpose for writing this essay, you MUST define a specific audience. This essay should include 3 to 4 secondary sources.

Purpose: To argue a position using facts and logic.

Audience:   Your peers, teacher

Guidelines for Selecting a Successful Argumentative Essay Topic

1. Is the topic narrow enough to be successfully and convincingly developed in a 4–5-page paper? A specific topic, well presented, is more effective than a broad (seemingly more significant) topic that can’t be developed fully.

2. Is there legitimate opposition?

3. Can you refute the opposition’s argument?
Can your position be argued and supported primarily with fact and logic rather than emotion, faith, or a morality-based stance?

4. Is it an issue you have experience with or have a personal stake in? To be convincing, your voice must be heard. Topics to Avoid 1. Issues that have been argued into the ground for years (e.g., abortion, capital punishment, the legalization of marijuana, gay marriage, etc.) 2. Issues that you feel so passionate about that you can’t argue your position logically (rather than emotionally) or acknowledge arguments from the opposing side.

Essay Format

Must include proper MLA (Modern Language Association) format including a heading and title (see below)
Double space
4-5 pages in length
Paragraphs must be indented (MLA format).
One-inch margins.

Your last name and page number on the right side of the paper.
