Research Statistical Analytics of Diabetes in the US

Research and prepare a literature review with statistical analytics pertaining to the prevalence and treatment of diabetes.

Your topic in healthcare, which has ample data analyses available, is Diabetes.

Use Data.gov, or Statista.com, or Kaggle.com to help you find the data set for the research.

Your submission should include six or more resources (articles, websites, databases).

Tell your topic’s story and set the stage for more research or answers towards the future of healthcare.

Structure of the research:

I. INTRODUCTION (why the study was undertaken?)
II. METHODS (how was the study conducted?)
III. DISCUSSION (What do the findings mean?)
IV. RESULTS (What was found from the study?)

Research Questions:

1) What is the prevalence of diabetes in a given population, and how does it vary by age, gender, ethnicity, and other factors? This question can be answered using survey data, medical records, or other sources.
2) What is the risk factor for developing diabetes, and how can they be identified and addressed? This question can be answered using epidemiological studies, observational studies, or clinical trials.
3) What are the most effective treatments for diabetes, and how can their effectiveness be measured?
4) How does diabetes impact health outcomes, such as mortality, morbidity, quality of life, and healthcare costs?
5) How can diabetes prevention and management programs be designed and evaluated to maximize their impact and cost-effectiveness?

Resource: Please review the Health Information Management Research Guide Resource: https://guides.temple.edu/c.php?g=127896&p=6027759

The Process for the research:

1) Start with the CINAHL database (which indexes leading journals for the HIM and health informatics fields).

2) Run test searches with keyword search strings, such as: “data analytics method*” or “data analytics in healthcare” or “big data in heathcare”
[The quotations tell the search engine to retrieve the phrase; the asterisk is a truncation symbol that allows for the retrieval of method, methods, methodology all in the same search.] Then consider:
What data analytics methods are presented … and which of these might fit with your chosen topic?
This will provide you guidance on other key words to use in your search with your topic.

3) Next run test searches — in CINAHL, MEDLINE, etc. — using keywords that relate to your topic, plus keywords and/or MESH headings one would add to try to pull in data analysis-related citations

Data analysis in chronic disease research typically involves collecting and analyzing large amounts of data from various sources, including electronic health records, population surveys, clinical trials, and administrative databases. Please, include the key data analysis techniques used in chronic disease research, such as:

1. Descriptive analysis: This involves summarizing and presenting data in a way that can be easily understood, such as tables, graphs, and charts.
2. inferential analysis: involves making inferences and drawing conclusions about the population based on data collected from a sample.
3. Predictive modeling: This involves developing mathematical models that can predict the likelihood of developing a chronic disease or the effectiveness of a particular treatment.
Be sure to include your research statement, data analysis, including descriptive statistics, charts, pivot tables, etc, and conclusions about the data, including inferential statistics test.

One way experimental design

Your Lab assignment is to do all of the calculations that I did using the data found in the Lesson 9 Data excel file Download Lesson 9 Data excel file. You will notice that the file contains that data that I analyzed (Group 1) and a new set of scores (Group A2, Group B2, and Group C2; found in cells A28 through C47). Your assignment is to replicate my analyses for the Group 1 data, and then conduct the same analyses for the Group 2 data. You will notice that something interesting happens with these two sets of data. You will be asked to explain these differences by filling out some questions found in rows 54 through 61. When you have finished with the analyses and answered the questions you should save the excel file as “LastName_Lab9Assignment” and then submit it.

Social Work Specialization Paper (school and low school Gov fundings)

I need peer reviewed resources

IV. Social Work Specialization Paper Choose one area of specialization in social work, e.g., medical, school, mental health, geriatric, protective services, drug & alcohol, etc. Look through all the areas covered in this course (book) to get ideas. Feel free to email me if you have questions about a specific area. Complete a 7-page paper including the following 3 areas: 1. What are identified problems that require these areas of social work, i.e. literacy in schools, aging populations, substance abuse, family violence, homelessness, mental illness, suicide, etc.? *Provide scholarly research (books or peer-reviewed journals) regarding the identified problem that warrants a need for social workers in the identified area that you chose. Examples might be: Geriatrics – The aging (geriatric) population getting older and the lack of funding for health insurance or assistance programs; Suicide – what are the causes? What are suicide rates? How prevalent is it in our society, etc.; Family Violence – What causes family violence? Which demographic is most susceptible to family violence & why? Your topic should be WELL RESEARCHED so that you can provide an in-depth discussion about them. 2. What interventions, theories, and/or perspectives have proven effective, OR NOT, in addressing the issue? Provide at least 2. Must come from peer-reviewed source. *In other words, what can be done? This could be several things: therapy (individual/group, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR Therapy); effective case management, psychosocial assessments, and effective treatment planning; support groups; hospitalization; writing policy, lobbying; family reunification, etc. Make sure to discuss, IN-DEPTH, these interventions, theories and/or perspectives. DO NOT give me YOUR ideas or thoughts on what YOU think would help! You MUST provide scholarly data about the interventions, theories, and/or perspectives. An interview (personal communication) with a social worker in this area could be one resource for you. 3. What are the long-term outcomes and/or projections for the identified problem? Must come from peer- reviewed source. *Example: Studies show that complex grief is affecting the elderly population at greater rates and severity than in past generations. As a result, life expectancy for seniors experiencing long-term, complex grief, is shortened by five years. However, through support groups and a change in lifestyle behaviors, research points to better outcomes for this vulnerable population (Pearson, 2011). 4. Explain how the 6 core values and social work code of ethics, identified by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), factor into bringing about change. Please use at least 1 core value and 1 code of ethics. This means that you will need to visit the NASW website! *In other words, how can you connect at least 1 of the 6 core values and 1 of the codes of ethics of NASW to your research? How studies, concerns, or interventions for
the elderly line up with a core value & ethical principle outlined by NASW? Ex: Support groups play a fundamental role in the NASW core value of the importance of human relationships. Relational experiences shared by several people – peers, loved ones, patient/therapist, neighbors, etc., are a basic need. Simply put, people need people (Maslow, 1967). This must be included in your reference list! This in-text citation and reference list might be a little tricky, so I will provide you with the correct information below: In-text (narrative): According to the NASW (2017), …. In-text (parenthetical): The importance of human relationships is a foundational core value and demonstrates significant importance in the betterment of individuals (National Association of Social Workers, 2017)

This is What i have done:
There are a range variation of areas social work offers; I decided to focus on the area of school social worker. I have personally used the service of a social worker in high school, and it helped me a lot and I believe every school should have at least one social worker. Although it could be very beneficial to have a social worker in every school in America it is very challenging to make that happen because there is a deficit of government funding in public schools; therefore, some schools are not able to afford a social worker and even if they could it is challenging for social workers to work with little government funds and provide programs and resources for student’s needs. There are programs such as
