For your Unit 3 Assignment, you will be identifying an issue in your community, discussing a gap that exists in service provision for that issue, planning/implementing a program/intervention, and evaluating the intervention. Evaluation is an important component when developing a program as it is important to assess what is working and what may need to be improved to provide the best services possible to your clients.
Your assignment needs to follow the outline below, using the sections as headings in your paper to keep things organized. Your paper should be no longer than 5 pages in length.
Needs Assessment
What is the identified need in your community?
Who is impacted by this need?
What are the resources (if any) that currently exist to address the need?
What are the gaps in services to address the need?
Literature Review
What are the historical/current trends related to the identified need?
What is the global perspective of the identified need? (For example: How is this need viewed and addressed worldwide?)
Planning of Intervention
What theory or theories will you use to guide the development of your intervention?
What are some of the best practices that have been identified to address the need?
Implementation of Intervention
What will the intervention consist of? (For example: Will it be educational sessions, family group meetings, etc.?)
Where will the intervention take place?
Who will provide services for the intervention?
What are two goals with one objective per goal for your intervention (goals are what you want to see changed, and objectives are how those goals will be accomplished)?
Evaluation of Intervention
Using the CDC’s Types of Evaluation resource, address the following:
Discuss one example of a process evaluation question related to your intervention.
Discuss one example of an outcome evaluation question related to your intervention.
What is an example of one qualitative and one quantitative way to evaluate your intervention?
Diversity Considerations
Discuss how your intervention will address issues related to diversity, including culture/ethnicity, gender differences, and global perspectives.
Address why it is important to consider issues related to diversity when developing interventions for a community.
there’s an essay to be taken as an example of what the structure of the final result should look like and the following sources can be used for the paper (not necessarily these but It would be great to use some as it’s related to a previous paper)

The topic that I have chosen for the mock research is “Factors that Play a Role in the Development of the Smoking Habit,” which is related to the oral stage of Sigmund Freud’s Stages of Psychosexual Development. During this stage, the baby’s satisfaction is centered on the mouth. Some examples of the activities that could satisfy an infant from birth until one year old are biting, breastfeeding, and sucking. The primary conflict in this stage is the weaning process, which is a process of gradually introducing the child to other foods and fluids aside from breastfeeding. I have chosen my topic because I want to know if a person’s experiences with the weaning process during his or her childhood are related to developing a smoking habit. I am curious about this topic because it is interesting to see how a person’s early life experiences affect his or her adult life.
Disc 11: Step 1: Watch the video: A Doll’s House, Summary and Analysis
Step 2: Read Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll’s House.
https://www.sparknotes.com/lit/dollhouse/full-text/act-i/
Step 3: When asked about A Doll’s House, Ibsen claimed that the play was not a ‘feminist’ play; he said that it was a ‘humanist’ play. Discuss whether or not you agree with Ibsen’s view in two paragraphs. Paragraph should be a minimum of at least six medium length sentences
All posts should be thorough and clear, incorporating quotes from the text of the play to support your points.
Step 4: Respond to at least one of your peers. Comments to peers’ posts should be thorough, thoughtful, reflective, and respectful as we build an enriching learning community
Response: Ibsen’s claim that “A Doll’s House” is a humanist play can be seen as a reflection of the play’s exploration of universal human themes beyond gender. While the play delves into the specific struggles of women in patriarchal societies, it also speaks to broader human concerns such as the search for identity, individual freedom, and the dangers of conforming to societal norms. The play’s characters, particularly Nora and Torvald, grapple with these issues in a way that transcends their specific gendered experiences. For example, the play explores the search for identity and individual freedom through the character of Nora. Nora’s journey towards self-discovery and autonomy is a universal human experience that resonates with audiences beyond her specific gendered struggles. Her decision to leave her husband and children is a powerful assertion of her worth and autonomy and can be seen as a humanist act of rebellion against any societal constraints on individual freedom. The play’s exploration of the dangers of conforming to societal norms can be seen through the character of Torvald. Torvald’s obsession with social status and appearances ultimately blinds him to the needs and desires of his wife and children, highlighting how societal expectations can trap individuals into inauthentic lives. In this way, the play’s exploration of universal human themes can be seen as a reflection of its humanist underpinnings.
However, it is also true that the play focuses heavily on the oppression of women in a patriarchal society. Nora’s experience of being treated as a “doll” by her husband and society reflects the limitations placed on women’s lives in the 19th century. Ibsen’s critique of patriarchal society and the way it dehumanizes women is a hallmark of feminist thought. Nora’s rebellion against her traditional gender role can be seen as a feminist act that challenges the gendered power dynamics of her time. Nora’s decision to leave her husband and children can also be seen as a feminist act of self-liberation and assertion of her worth and autonomy. The play’s focus on the oppression of women in a patriarchal society, therefore, cannot be ignored in any interpretation of the work. Overall, the complex and layered exploration of human experience in “A Doll’s House” makes it difficult to categorize the play solely as a feminist or a humanist work. Ibsen’s intention to present universal human themes beyond gender, while still reflecting on the oppression of women in a patriarchal society, leads to a multifaceted interpretation of the play’s meaning. The play’s exploration of human experience and its enduring relevance to contemporary audiences lies in its ability to speak to a variety of concerns and audiences.
