Identify and label each question using Webb’s Depth of Knowledge or Bloom’s Taxonomy of Cognitive Skills.

Effective Questioning as Formative Assessment (FEAP1d, 3f)
Description: Effective questioning requires that the teacher has a strong knowledge of Bloom’s Taxonomy of Cognitive Skills, Webb’s Depth of Knowledge, and applies the various levels of questioning in the classroom. Effective questioning can be used as an appropriate formative assessment to monitor student learning.
Directions: You will develop a set of questions using Webb’s Depth of Knowledge or Bloom’s Taxonomy of Cognitive Skills that evoke critical thinking during a lesson or series of lessons. You should do the following:
Select a current State Standard (Florida).
Research, identify, and describe an activity that addresses that standard.
Write one instructional cognitive objective following the ABCD procedure for use with the activity.
Write two (2) questions you would utilize in instructing the activity that focus on the “lower” levels of Webb’s Depth of Knowledge or Bloom’s Taxonomy of Cognitive Skills. Provide a minimum of two acceptable student responses for each question.
Write three (3) questions you would utilize in instructing the activity that employs “higher” order questioning techniques of Webb’s Depth of Knowledge or Bloom’s Taxonomy of Cognitive Skills. Provide a minimum of two acceptable student responses for each question.
Identify and label each question using Webb’s Depth of Knowledge or Bloom’s Taxonomy of Cognitive Skills.
Cooperative Learning Lesson Plan (FEAP1a) (CCSL1)
Description: Cooperative learning is one way of students taking ownership of their own learning through teamwork. Although many believe that they are having their students work in cooperative learning groups, they have not taught their class how to effectively work together. For this task, you will design and implement in your clinical classroom setting a cooperative learning activity lesson plan which is aligned with state-adopted standards at the appropriate level of rigor and can be adapted for use in a variety of learning environments.
Directions: Cooperative learning is best used with a dual purpose: acquisition of both cognitive and social skills. You should do the following:
Utilize the MDCSOE Lesson Plan to design a cooperative learning lesson:
Describe how you will divide the class in advance into heterogeneous groups of three to five students each. Each group should be mixed by academic level (high, average, and low achievement). You may choose to group on another factor if it meets the needs of your classroom, but this should be explained in your plan.
Provide for the needs of diverse learners such as pairing ELLs with bilingual students, using visual and audio resources as appropriate, and providing written instructions.
Plan to review with K-12 students strategies that foster acceptance, tolerance, and respect.
Ensure that each group member has a specific role. You may assign the roles, or your students may make the assignments within their groups. Typical roles include group facilitator, materials manager, recorder, reporter, and/or thinking monitor. Students may serve more than one role, but all students should serve at least one role and be held accountable for fulfilling that function.
Include in your plan a list of the groups with student names, achievement classifications, and roles in the group.
Identify the current State Standard (Florida) to be taught.
Identify the product to result from the activity and state the objective to which it is linked.
Establish a time limit for the activity.
Classroom Teach
Description: Observation of instruction is an integral aspect of the pre-service educator’s learning and development process. Throughout your instructional career you will be observed by students, parents, peers, and administrators. These experiences should provide an opportunity for you to:
Incorporate Educational Neuroscience strategies in a mock classroom setting
Gain an awareness of the variety of learning styles and effective instruction
Gain an appreciation of the importance of making learning fun
Highlight the need for differentiated instruction
Reveal the importance of good questioning skills
Raise awareness of good timing and pacing
Realize the importance of the lesson plan format which includes the instructional objectives and learning outcomes
Directions: You will teach portions of the original cooperative learning activity lesson plan you developed to your peers. You will teach the anticipatory set, instruct an activity, and provide closure to a lesson. Each of these parts of the lesson will be observed by your professor utilizing the current MDC SOE Methods Observation Form. After teaching the lesson, reflect on your experience and the feedback provided by the professor. Complete the reflection section of the lesson plan format.
Clinical Teaching Lab
Directions: You will complete one visit to the MDC SOE Clinical Teaching Lab, in conjunction with the Clinical Teaching Lab Coach. This will include a pre-observation conference, a lesson plan evaluation, a video-recorded mini-teach, feedback from the clinical coach, and reflection from the preservice teacher. Specific instructions for this activity will be provided by the Clinical Teaching Lab Coach, and be available in our Learning Management Platform. look thisdo last 5 assingment please

Describe the criminal justice inquiry, best practices in criminal justice research, and the value of evidence based practice.

To assess your ability to:

Describe the criminal justice inquiry, best practices in criminal justice research, and the value of evidence based practice.
Evaluate how criminal justice research is typically done.
Compare and contrast quantitative and qualitative research.
Describe program initiation and evaluation research and distinguish them from other types of research in the field.
Evaluate typical data collection and data analysis techniques in criminal justice

Directions: Read each of the questions carefully. Choose two of the three questions to answer in a one to two-page paper. Your response should include the introduction, body, and conclusion. Read over the grading rubric before attempting to write your answers. The exam is open book, open note, however, you must cite any sources with in-text citations and a full reference section.
What is the purpose of research? How is it used? What factors should you consider when reviewing/reading research articles?
What is evidence-based practice? Why is it important? What are the uses of evidence-based practice in the field?
What is validity, reliability, and generalizability in research?
