Assignment Instructions:
Follow your favorite athlete or team/organization (TWO TOTAL and be sure to select those who are active on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc. — active is defined as a minimum of 1-2 posts each day) for a minimum of 3 consecutive days. Provide an overview of their “posting” tendencies (what did they share, post as an original thought, etc.) and the extent to which your favorites athlete(s)/team(s) use social media to enhance their brand of both themselves (as a player and a person), their teams, and potentially the brands/organizations that they endorse.

Questions to possibly address (but aren’t limited to):

Why did you decide to follow/analyze your athlete(s)/team(s)?
Do(es) your athlete(s) talk more about themselves, their team, or other things not even associated with those entities?
What are some things that were positive AND negative about their tweeting?
Any common hashtags being used?
After conducting this analysis, have your feelings/loyalties changed at all in regards the player(s), their team(s), etc.?
Other items and/or trends you might see in their tweeting.
Case Study Format: Your analysis, which should be done as a Power Point deck, should be 15-20 slides long or about (10 minutes long).
