Cloud Managed Detection and Response

There will be an attached .pdf file (C769-T2 toT3 Bridge Material_EP) explaining exactly what is needed for the tasks. The topic is implementing a Managed Detection and Response platform into fictional South Nassau Hospital’s current outdated security infrastructure in order to be considered a merger/acquisition with the larger Health System Northwell Health. I’ll also attach my summary/proposal which notes what my suggested plan and method would be.

When discussing this capstone with my advisor, she mentioned that I can base this paper on the work I had submitted from an earlier class. In fact, she told me to just expand on it. The paper surrounds another fictitious company TechFite, with a proposal to implement emerging technology. That paper will be attached as well. My initial thought was to exchange TechFite with South Nassau Hospital and go from there-I started that but it goes without saying I didn’t get far but I’ll attach that as well.

Managed Detection and Response has been a cloud-based service available for a few years now and is considered an emerging technology which on the Gartner Hype Cycle chart is in the ‘Peak of Inflated Expectation’ zone. The method of implementation is following Gartner’s STREET process.

There are two tasks associated with this order. One part is the proposal, implementation, and outcome. The next task is writing a summary. My hope is some of the work I did can be expanded and 17 to 18 pages can be completed for task two and 2-4 can be completed for task 3. I, unfortunately, cannot dedicate more time to this project as I’ve been hit with a massive work project which is taking up my time, not to mention two babies to take care of. I’m hoping we can talk if necessary and iron out anything you may need to complete this task. I will attach the sample capstone I was provided to give you an idea of what is being asked for.
