Read the attached CBA and answer the following questions.
Paper must have ALL of the following:

1. The name of the CBA, who are the parties of
the contract, What are the dates covered in the agreement?
2. ABOUT (INSERT NAME) – What is the company/organization? What
is the industry? What is the history and nature of the business?
3. ABOUT UNION MEMBERSHIP – What employees are covered by the
CBA? How many members/ Which job codes or positions? What types of duties are
being performed?
4. ARBITRABILITY – What Sections are included in the CBA? Is it
arbitrable? Please quote the Section, number, and the exact words regarding
arbitrability.
5. WAGE INCREASES – What are the Wage Adjustments? Are they
different each year? Are merit increases included? Across-the-board increases?
Are the increases contingent upon some element of job performance?
5. BENEFITS – What Health, Paid Time Off, and Other Benefits are
described in the CBA?
6. JOB SECURITY – What are the Job Security terms? How is Seniority defined? Are layoffs/recalls addressed?
7. DISCIPLINARY STEPS – What progressive disciplinary steps are
discussed?
9. HR RELEVANCE – What specific CBA elements will the
organization’s HR department likely need to manage?
All references and quotes must be cited accurately on the last
slide in the presentation.
