An alien has come to Earth. You have made contact with them. The alien, Kyle, tells you that their mission is to find a form of government that will best suit their planet. Kyle says that Earth was chosen because there are so many forms of government on our planet, and their planet could use some direction, but only the best will do.
The key here is not to get lost in ambiguities or relativism, but to take an objective stance. Two forms of government are:
i. Capitalistic Republic
ii. Communist State
You are allowed to use evidence from outside sources to support your stance. You are not allowed to use Wikipedia or Dictionary.com or websites like that, but use actual sources (use what you learned in chapter four of Critical Thinking to evaluate the sources you use).
When citing things use MLA (9th edition).
At least two, but no more than three, of the rhetorical devices.
Do not start your posts with “In my opinion.” This is not your opinion, but this is your objective thought on a topic.
