1) Cover page/slide that states the theory to be discussed, the students name
2) Historical backgound including key founder, other nanes or abbreviations of the theory and additional information about the origin of the theory.

4) Describe and explain the counselor’s role and the role of the counselor-client relationship.
5) Idenify and describe the overall goals of therapy.

7) Describe how counelors practicing through this specific lens understand multicultural and diversity in general and offer one example of a strategy that a counselor can employ if practicing today to ensure they are being inclusive to multicultural and diversity needs
8) Identify and describe two examples of specific populations, situations, or environments when this theory is expected to be most applicable or effective
9) Identify and describe one example of a limitation of this theory as considered through the perspective of today’s 21st century and application in the United States.
10) APA 7th addition should be noted throughout the presentation and on reference page. the reference page must include the textbook (Counseling and psychotherapy theories in context and practice 3rd edition. Sommers-Flanagan), at least 4 scholary peer reviewed articles no more than 5 years old, and the citation for at least one empirical journal that is a reputable source that may include peer reviewed journal articles on this topic (entire journal as resource).
For this project, students may use the JCD to identify specific articles they may not use to fulfill criterion. they can consider international or national journals
