Describe what tests you will use to analyze your descriptive statistics and to assess your hypotheses (e.g., if you are examining a relationship you will likely use a Pearson’s r correlation), and what program you will use to conduct the analyses (most likely this will be Excel).

Now that you have conducted a literature review and identified your hypotheses, you will write up your method section and data analysis plan. Your method section should include the following three sections:
The participants you have included in your study and a description of their demographic characteristics (age, gender, class standing, race)
The measures you used to collect information about your variables of interest (the measures from the survey you chose; you must describe at least 2 measures), their scaling, and their established psychometric properties. You will also calculate the internal consistency of the scales from your own data (and if you are analyzing daily survey data, you will calculate test-retest reliability).
The procedures of the study for which you should describe the study’s design, how participants were recruited, how data was collected, and the timeline of the project. You will also state the response rate at baseline and at any other assessed time points.
You should also create a plan for how you will analyze your data. Describe what tests you will use to analyze your descriptive statistics and to assess your hypotheses (e.g., if you are examining a relationship you will likely use a Pearson’s r correlation), and what program you will use to conduct the analyses (most likely this will be Excel).
Finally, include a references section for any included citations and be sure to follow the appropriate APA formatting guidelines.
