Part 4: Submit a “Mandala of Personal Health”
An example of a “Mandala of Personal Health,” is located in Exercise 25.1: The Mandala of Personal Health: Your Holistic Stress Management Strategy.
DIRECTIONS:
“This mandala exercise invites you to use a symbol OR write a reflection on all of the ideas, skills, techniques, exercises and habits that allow you to achieve inner peace, harmony and balance within your mind, body, spirit and emotions. If you are using a symbol, please place your name in the middle and label the four quadrants of spirit, mind, emotions, and body. Within each of the quadrants you can list the activities you are or wish to practice to maintain optimal health. For example, let’s take the area of physical well being/body. Your might write down ideas for your personal exercise program, new eating and sleep habits, perhaps the use of massage or acupuncture. When you finish, place your mandala somewhere you can see it to serve as a guide for your optimal health.”
