TOPIC: Women in Buddhism: After your introduction, give a historical background of the place of women in Buddhism. Next, discuss different views of Buddhists with regard to women. Finally, discuss some aspect of women’s place in Buddhism today. NOTE: For the last part it is much better to focus on a specific aspect of women in Buddhism (i.e. the position of Buddhist women/nuns in one country, in one time period) rather than trying to give a general overview of women in Buddhism.
