mixed methods research, the researcher mixes or combines quantitative and
qualitative research techniques, methods, approaches, concepts or language into
a single study. Identify and discuss the
underlying philosophy, assumptions, components, strengths and weaknesses of
mixed methods research. Discuss how you
might use a mixed methods approach for your dissertation topic. If the mixed methods approach is not
appropriate for your dissertation topic, explain the reasons why and fully
support your position using appropriate review of literature.

Each question should be cited using peer reviewed journal
articles, preferable from a journal that is related to the question
(International Business Journal, Finance Journal, Marketing Journal, Leadership
Journal etc. For DBA students). When citing a theory, try to give the
origin, for example, five forces developed by Porter (1979).
