Historical Flooding
For this discussion, please do some research on historical incidences of river flooding. Then, create a reply using a minimum of 150 words to include answers to the following questions. For full points, make sure to respond to the posts of at least two (2) other students.
1. Please name the river, give the geographic location of the river, and also time of year (date) of the flood.
2. What caused the flooding? Explain.
3. Provide a short summary of the extent and damages caused by the flooding.
4. Discuss if this area on this river has flooded before, and if so, how regularly does this area flood?
5. Knowing what you have learned about this river so far, if money was not an issue, how comfortable would you be in purchasing a home on the riverfront somewhere. Explain.
