In this Application Assignment, you will do a review of your own life. In this assignment, you will discuss theoretical concepts about adolescent development. Choose a theorist, (Erickson, Freud, etc.) and discuss the stage of adolescent development according to the theorist. Then, you will discuss your own adolescence. What were the biological/physical milestones associated with your adolescent development? What were the social milestones associated with your social development? What are the psychological milestones associated with your development?
For example, if you identify Erikson’s stage of identity vs role confusion, you will need to discuss this particular stage of development. This also means that you will need to do some research about this stage of development. A concept related to this stage is rebelliousness. You will then discuss if your adolescent experience included rebellion behavior (you will also need to know the definition of this term). If not, why not.
The next part of the assignment, you will discuss your social development during the adolescent stage. Discuss in your paper, concepts relate to social development and related these concepts to your own adolescent development.
