Do you have an introduction that clearly states your research question (just one question, not a group of questions)?

Please read the Course Outline for the detailed description of this assignment and for the its due date.
Click on the “Week Two Assignment – Research Plan” link above to submit your assignment, as well to get more information regarding the due date and grading rubric.
Here is a checklist for the assignment.

Does your paper have a cover sheet, in APA format?
Do you have an introduction that clearly states your research question (just one question, not a group of questions)?
Is your question focused on the impact of ONE named technology (not technology in general) on a specific population or problem, and does it have a clear measurement, as discussed in week 1?
Do you have at least three papers, one each from three disciplines?
Are the papers peer-reviewed?
Have you noted the background of the first author of each paper to make it clear what discipline you are assigning their paper to, and why?
Did you cite the paper in-text, in APA? Each source should be cited where it is used, in APA. In APA, a citation of a paper by Smith, Jones and Blue written in 2018 that cites page 15 would be: (Smith, Jones, & Blue, 2018, p. 15)
Do you have a reference page, listing your sources in APA format?
Have you run a grammar and spelling checker on the paper?
Did you write this as a paper, NOT an annotated bibliography? The discussion of the authors, etc should be in the narrative, not just one word above a source, or any other format.
From the Course Outline:
Prepare a summary of your planned research question. How does it fit the theme? Where will you find your sources? Why is it an interdisciplinary problem, and what will each discipline contribute to the solution? The research question or problem should be a clearly-stated question with a measurable outcome (to be discussed during the week 1 chat.) The assignment must be submitted as to the NU dropbox as a Word file, and should be between 350 and 700 words. APA style is required. You must state the three disciplines you will be using and include at least one primary source from each discipline. A newspaper article that quotes three experts is not acceptable: you must use the peer-reviewed literature of the discipline in question, from the NU library.

For example, if medicine is your discipline, an article in the New England Journal of Medicine would be an acceptable source. A New York Times article that quoted a doctor would not. The discipline of an article is determined by looking up the first (lead) author of that article and seeing what that authors discipline is. The discipline is NOT based on the content of the article or name of the journal. Feedback on this plan will constitute your approval to go forward with your research topic (or adapt it, as the case may be.) Expect to have some interactions with the instructor during week 3 to tune up the proposal if needed. Proposals without cited peer-reviewed references will be returned unread and given a zero grade.

Humanities: Art, history, languages, literature, music, philosophy, religion, theater

Natural and applied sciences: Biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering, geology, mathematics, physics, medicine

Social sciences: Anthropology, education, geography, law, political science, psychology, sociology
So you would have the choice to choose each discipline branch so for example humanities you would pick art, for natural l sciences you would pick biology, and for social sciences you would pick geography.
